The Deceit

**Luca POV** Betrayed. I cannot believe Jillian and Eve betrayed me! I raised eve from a small pup, and helped her become the person she is today. Those girls definitely played me. Making me believe they were loyal to me as their master. Once we realized they had run away, we followed their scent to the little village on the other side of the forest. Once we got there, we lost it. How can 2 women just vanish into thin air? Now I had not one, but three she-wolf hybrids to find. All three would pay dearly for deceiving me. "Master?" "What is it, General Younger?" I asked. "What is our next plan of action? Should we search the Winter River territories? " I sat silent, contemplating my plan. Finally, I said "No. First, we leave for Summer Springs. Jillian would have run home to her Alpha Brother. She will know where to find my Kaia, and she will have no choice but to tell me or I kill her whole Pack. Including the rest of her family." General Younger nods in agreement and goes to rally the troops traveling with us. I have been working too hard to let these women escape me. I need them to complete my plans. If I am discovered turning an army of hybrid females, I will be executed by the gods. No mercy shown. I don't care though. Let them. I mean they have to catch me first, right? I have come too far. There is no turning back now. **FLASHBACK TO JILLIANS CAPTURE** I'm on a hunt, needing fresh blood. The need for it causes my body to weaken with pain and hunger. From a distance I can hear the sounds of laughter and excitement. I started to move towards the sound. The smell of innocents was intoxicating. Watching through the trees, I saw a small blonde-haired she-wolf who looked maybe sixteen years of age. She had a very strong aura about her, the daughter of the Alpha, that I was sure of. Positive that she was essential for my hybrid army, I waited for her to be preoccupied and alone before I approached. "Hello little wolf, please don't be frightened. My name is King Luca Krone. I was traveling through the forest and my horse got spooked, and ran off. Did you see a large, black stallion come through here?" She stared at me intensely as if to determine whether I was lying to her, or being truthful. She slowly shook her head and said "I'm sorry your majesty, I haven't." I took a few steps back, and contemplated for a moment, then said " That's too bad. I do have to apologize, as I know I am intruding on your lands, but I must find him. He was the last gift from my mother before she passed on. I will take my leave and continue my search. Thank you young miss." She smiled and stood up, looking back towards the Pack House, " If you like, I can help you look for a little while. That way, if you are stopped by any of our patrol warriors you won't be considered trespassing." She was playing right into my hands. "As long as there isn't any trouble, I would appreciate your help." We started off into the forest, and started to make small talk to pass time. She was an inquisitive little thing. I answered willingly but also very vaguely. Off at a distance we heard her name being called. "JILLIAN!! IT'S TIME TO COME INSIDE! JILLIAN!! "Your highness, I do not see any signs of your horse. It's getting late and I have to get back. My father is calling. I'm sorry I couldn't help more, and you can find him soon." She smiled and turned and walked away. As I slowly made my way back to her house, I again found myself watching through the trees. She ran into her father's arms, and I couldn't stop the smirk spreading across my face. I recognized him immediately, Alpha Michael Stone. I heard him ask "Jilly, where have you been , and who have you been with? Your scent also carries another. Tell me now!" She started to explain to him about me approaching her and her trying to help me find my non-existent horse, and the fury that took over the Alpha's face said it all. "Jillian! You cannot just leave with a random stranger! Especially THAT stranger! Do you know who and what he is???" Tears started to form in her eyes as she shook her head, "No daddy I don't. He just said he was a king, and I thought we were always supposed to obey and help royalty." "He is NOT royalty that needs to be respected my little Jilly bell. If he comes again, you must alert someone immediately." Infuriated by his words, I stepped out of the treeline, running straight for him. He saw me coming and pushed Jillian away, causing her to fall. Before he could react, i was already on him ripping his throat out with my teeth. Killing him instantly. Jillian starts screaming. I grabbed her, covering her mouth and rushed to my car. I gently placed her in the car and strapped her in. I started the car and raced off as fast as I could before anyone could discover what had taken place. I pulled into the castle's driveway and called Vacile. "Vacile, please take this she-wolf to the room I had prepared before I left. Make sure to lock it as you leave. I don't want her roaming the castle." I didn't go to see her until the next day. She was crying, and still lying in her bed. "You don't have to be afraid of me, Jillian. You will soon be mine now. I will love and protect you with everything within me," I told her. She stared at me with sad eyes and said, "You..you are not my mate. I will only belong to my mate." she then rolled over with her back facing towards me. I replied, "You don't understand my dear Jilly. You won't be mine as a mate, but as my daughter. You will not want for anything, will never have to be fearful of anything, and you will live forever." With that, I picked her up and cradled her in my arms. I tilted her head to the side and sank my fangs into her shoulder blade, giving just enough venom to turn her, but not take away the wolf side of her. **END FLASHBACK**
