Hope’s P.O.V
I woke up early this morning, due to not having much sleep last night and being anxious about seeing Roman. I didn't want to talk to him and I couldn't bear to even look at him, let alone pretend that we were mates when I knew we werent. I really prayed that Rachel had managed to come up with some sort of plan to get us out of here, but when I tried talking to her she just ignored me, so I guess she hadn't figured anything out yet. I got out of bed and went straight to the bathroom to do my business, washing my hands afterwards. I looked around the bathroom and if today was the last day I was going to be able to enjoy these comforts, then I was going to take full advantage. I got in the shower and took a long hot shower, relishing in the feel of the water on my body. I scrubbed every inch of my skin because I had slept in Roman’s bed, I had his scent all over me and I wanted to get any and all traces of it off me. I turned the water off after I was finished and got out, drying myself off and walking back into the bedroom to get dressed. Thankfully my clothes were in a separate dresser to Roman’s so they didn't smell like him. I quickly got dressed and put my hair up in a ponytail, just as I heard Rachel coming to the front of my mind.
“I was waiting for you to get dressed before I told you the plan, I wasn't ignoring you, dummy.” Rachel said and I laughed.
“Are you ready?” Rachel asked and I felt so relieved that I wouldn't have to stay here a moment longer.
“Yes, I’m ready, so what's the plan?” I asked, itching to get out of here.
“I want you to open that window first.” Rachel replied and I was confused, but still did as she asked. I walked over to the window and opened it up, feeling a sense of deja vu coming over me.
“I know you have done this before, but you survived and you didn't even have me then. I want you to jump out of the window and run, run as fast as you can to the woods and then shift, I’ll take over after that, but you need to do it now. I can feel him coming, so by my guess we have about twenty minutes before he gets here, so, do it, do it now.” Rachel said and I sighed, thinking of the last time.
“Well, here I go again, escaping yet another pack that doesn't really want me.” I said out loud to myself as I looked down. I climbed out of the window and onto the small roof, then took a deep breath before I jumped. I took off running as soon as my feet hit the ground, heading straight for the woods. I didn't know if I had been seen or not, but that just made me run faster, not wanting to turn around to find out. I reached the edge of the woods after a few minutes and quickly shifted into my cat, not bothering to get undressed because I didn't have time to even think, let alone get undressed and tie my clothes to my ankle. I let Rachel take over and took a back seat as I watched her run away from there.
Alpha Roman Black’s P.O.V
I had gone through all the information and books I had, but the only thing I found last night was a small bit of information. It is said that white tigers are the purest of all the werecats, they will know everything and they will figure things out before anyone else does, they will know if you're lying. They had special powers to set things on fire and blow things up, that was all that I read because that was all I needed to know. She had powers and I just had to tap into them, but I had to mate with her and mark her first. I had decided that I was going to do it today and then she will have no choice but to do what I want, especially seeing as she thinks we are mates, she will never refuse me. I made my way up to my bedroom and tried to open the door, but it was locked. I started knocking on the door and listening, but there was no answer.
“Hope, open the door.” I said, but no one came to the door and I couldn't hear anything inside either. I felt myself getting pissed off, how dare she deny me. I knocked the door down in one kick, but there was no one in the room. I went to the bathroom and looked in there, but she wasn't there either and then I noticed the open window. I ran over to it and all I saw was a blur of a white tiger running into the woods.
“f**k!!!” I angrily screamed out.
“Shelly, she figured it out and she's running, we have to catch her.” I said, mind-linking my sister and jumped out the same window. I landed on the ground just as Shelly ran out of the pack house. We both shifted into our cats and ran into the woods after her, trying to catch her. We ran for hours, trying to find her or pick up on her scent, but she was nowhere to be found and her scent was all over the place, not leading us to anywhere in particular. I roared in frustration as we turned around and did the only thing we could do, go back to the pack house and start planning.
“We’ll get her back and when we do she will be sorry she ever left me.” I snarled, sniffing the air once more. I shifted back as soon as we got back and stormed into the pack house.

I could feel them as they chased me and they were quickly gaining on me, but what did I expect, they have had their cats a lot longer than me and were used to running, whereas I was still new to this. I wasn't new to running or being chased because that was my life, but I was new to running in cat form. I looked around at my surroundings and the only thing I could think to do was to shift back to my human form and take it from there. I started formulating a plan and Rachel ran faster, trying to put as much distance between us so that I could put my plan into action. Once she finally had, she gave me back control and I shifted back, quickly climbing up a tall tree and I did it just in time. I climbed up the tallest tree I could find and sat down on one of the branches, praying to the Moon Goddess that it wouldn't break. I watched them as they ran past the tree I was in, sniffing the air as they did so and I held my breath, careful not to move an inch. They were gone for a few hours and I thought the coast was clear, but just as I was about to jump down I heard them coming back and quickly resumed my position. It felt so weird, but I could hear their thoughts and what they were saying to each other about me, how they would get me back and I would be sorry I ever left. I stayed up in the tree, waiting for them to leave and I had been up here for so long that the sun was starting to go down by the time they left. I was sitting here naked, in a tree and I was so cold, so I shifted back into Rachel to stay warm. My old pack would keep clothes out in the woods and hide them in the trees for when they shifted back, but this pack didn't do that and the clothes I was wearing shredded when I shifted. There was only one way this was going to work until I found some clothes and that would be to stay as Rachel during the day and run, then at night shift into my human form and stay up in the trees, so that no one could find me. The tree I was in wasnt that comfortable that night and I heard all kinds of noises that scared me, owls, snakes and the worst one was rogues hunting for their prey so they could eat.
When morning came I jumped back down from the tree and decided it was best to stay as Rachel, running away from here and hoping no one would see me. I ran for hours on end, hungry and thirsty, but then I came across a small pond. I immediately stopped and looked around, checking to make sure I was alone before walking over to it and taking a drink. After I had my fill of water I took off running again and when night time came I shifted back into my human form and climbed another tree, settling down for the night, but always staying alert. I was one of them now, unwanted, abused and unloved, I was a rogue.
