Chapter Five

Manik quickly parked the car near a mansion and as he entered the vacant mansion, he shouted “I CAN’T BE A MONSTER!”

He fell on the floor crying incoherently “I hate you SOHA for transforming a human to a RAKE!”

“I HATE YOUUUU!” He shouted like anything and kicked the armchair and his eyes just had tears. Tears of pain and guilt.

“What wrong did she do to me?! WHHATT??!” He stood near the mirror hanging and looked at his face “You broke her MANIK MALHOTRA!” And he gave a sarcastic smile and broke the glass “I hate you MONSTER MANIK!”

He sighed and curled himself up like a ball lying on the floor “You br..broke her Manik!” And he cried like anything. He felt the pain. How once he hated tears and made everyone happy and how he was actually hurting someone so cruelly. But he still had that heart which every girl would have fallen for.

He broke all the antiques and it did hurt him too much. He took a big portrait of him hanging on the wall and threw it on the ground.

All his hands were bloodied and he had got nearly many wounds on his hands. But he cared less.

“I thought you were good Manik..But!” She broke down like anything hugging the picture of her Amma-Appa.

“Two years back, when I saw you in our neighborhood..You were so good..You actually saved a baby from an accident..I thought that smile of yours will..will heal up wounds of people...But..I hate you now! How could you be this cruel!” And she cried like anything.

At around 9 pm, Divya and Raj quickly drove to the Vacant Mansion as soon as they got to know about the Nandini incident and he driving off alone.

Divya ran to her boy who was lying on the floor, unconscious while Raj quickly called up the bodyguards to take him to hospital.

“Raj! I cannot take this anymore..I just cannot..My baby..!” Divya patted his cheek and cried like anything while Raj was silently shedding tears.

They took him to a nearby hospital where he got admitted. All his friends soon got there while he was being operated.

“He is all fine. But he needs to be under care for 24 hours!” The doctor informed them and all of them nodded, with tears in their eyes.

Navya called Nandini “Yes, Navya?!”

“Manik is in hospital!” Navya stammered since she was crying to which Nandini stumbled “How?”

“I will tell you later..!” Navya didn’t know why she callled Nandini but something in her told her to do so.

Nandini quickly wiped her tears “What exactly are you??” She abused him as she took a dress from her cupboard and went inside her washroom.
