Riley – POV We stood in the southern section of the Wolf Realm, and I could feel Zac’s eyes on me, watching, analyzing. He could tell something was off. “What’s wrong with you?” he asked, his voice low but insistent. We were waiting in line for the teleportation portal, and the crowd around us felt suffocating. I bit down on my nails, a nervous habit I couldn’t seem to shake. Zac’s hand caught mine mid-bite, pulling my thumb away from my mouth. “Riley, talk to me,” he repeated, this time softer, but with that same edge. I couldn’t answer, not here, surrounded by so many people. Instead, Zac led me out of the line, away from prying eyes.
