“We should meet in the southern regions first, then head to the vampire realm,” I mind-linked to Zac through the psychic stone.

I arrived in the southern area early enough to wait for him at the restaurant where we’d met before. When Zac told me there was a way to save my parents and that today was my only chance, I didn’t think twice. I agreed to the plan without question.
