Chapter 7

Amni's P.O.V.

I woke up the next morning feeling guilty. Was it because I slept with Ace? Was it because Rogue caught me in bed with him? I roll over and find that Ace is not next to me in bed. I look around my room and find that he is nowhere to be found. Getting out of my bed, I get dressed and head downstairs. As I headed down my stairs, I began to smell something cooking. I turned the corner to my kitchen when I got down the steps and saw Ace making the meat from the wolves that I had killed. He has the stove on, which I was surprised because I have never used the stove, nor did I even know it worked. The flame under the skillet danced and I looked at him shocked. He noticed me staring and looked over and gave me a warm smile.

"Good morning." he said softly and turned back to cooking.

"Good morning," I said walking past him to the fridge and dug out purified water. "Whatcha making? It smells good!" I said to him, and he chuckled a little and it brought goosebumps through me.

"I found the wolf meat in the fridge, and I decided to make some since you don't cook very often from what I can tell." he says pointing to the food and the stove.

"I didn't even know the stove actually worked or how it worked." I shyly said and began to blush as Ace let out a laugh.

"How the hell did you cook meats and s**t then?"

"I would just build a fire outside and cook it that way." He chuckled again while smiling at me.

"You're something else, Amni." He said as he put down the fork he was cooking with and came over to me. He grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to him. As he did, he caresses my cheek and pulls his face closer to mine. "There is so much you need to learn." He whispers to me and pulls my lips to his. I kissed back gently, giving into his touch.

He pulled away, teasingly, and went back into cooking. As he finished, he pulled out my one and only plate I had in the house and put the meat on the plate. We moved over to the couch and table and ate together. As I took the first bite, the meat was filled with juices and so tender it almost melted into my mouth.

"Holy s**t, Ace!" I said and he laughed again.

"Good?" he questioned, and I nodded as I took another bite. I have never cooked food like this before. Maybe he is right, there is a lot I still need to learn. As we finished, I cleaned up and brought the plate to the kitchen. Ace followed me and as I put the plate into the sink, he came behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist. I began to melt into his arms when I then remembered, I needed to see if Rogue was okay. I lean my face over to his and he pulls his face closer to mine. Before he could connect his lips with mine, I stopped him.

"I have to go check on Rogue. Make sure he's okay." I say to Ace softly. He groans and pulls my lips to him.

"Yeah, you should. I know you have not seen him the past couple of days." He slowly let's go of me and as soon as he did, something slipped out of my mouth that I didn't expect to.

"What are we?" I bit my lip and didn't realize I asked what I did until I saw his face. He seemed both shocked and unsure.

"What do you think we are?" he asks softly.

"I don't know... Are we together or just a one-time thing?" I bite my lip again and look away. I can't believe I'm talking to Ace about being together. I was supposed to be with Rogue, yet I have strong feelings for Ace as well. His fingers gently pull my face back up to look at him. I couldn't read him too well, yet his eyes are filled with lust.

"Amni, what do you feel towards me?" he asks calmly and steps forward, his fingers still under my chin.

"I'm not sure. I do have feelings for you... But-" he stopped me and pulled me into another kiss.

"Then just leave it at that," He whispered to me and kissed me deeper. I melt again into his kiss, and he pulls me closer by my waist.

I wrap my arms around him, and he lifts me up onto the counter. Moving his lips onto my neck, I begin to take off his shirt, revealing his muscles and I moan at the sight. As I pull up my shirt, he bites down on my neck, hard. I let out a half moan and scream. It felt good, yet it hurt. He lets go of his bite and pulls my shirt off the rest of the way as he makes his way down to my t**s. He played with my n*****s with his mouth and fingers. I scratch up his back from the pleasure and he lets out a moan, instantly taking off my pants as he takes me off the counter and bends me over it. I hear him take off his belt and pants. That is when I began to feel his top teasing my folds and I could tell I was wet. He slowly slips himself into me and I moan instantly. His body leans over mine and he whispers into my ear.

I want you, Amni. I want you as mine." he thrusts into me, as each thrust becomes harder and harder. I could feel that he was harder than ever, and I began to come close to cumming. He then turns me around and places me back up on the counter and slides himself back into me. He was hitting my G spot perfectly and I was about to c*m. I dig my nails into his back again and he moans loudly in my ear. Hearing that made the spot.

"f**k, Ace! I'm cumming!" I scream and I can feel my whole body shake as I do. I drag my nails up his back and bite down on his neck. He moans and I can feel him cumming in me as I do. He slows his pace down and finishes cumming. As he pulls out, his juices slip out from me. He begins to pull his pants back up and I get off the counter and wipe myself up.

"I'm sorry. I wasn't thinking." he said, hinting some guilt in his voice. Yet for some reason, I wasn't worried about it. After I get my pants back on again, I go up to him and kiss him passionately.

"Don't be sorry." I said to him and put my shirt back on. After I do, he places his hand on my back and pulls me to him once more.

"I was serious on what I said." he says to me softly. I knew he was talking about what he said to me when we were having s*x. He wants me as his. I blush and look away.

"I would like that..." I say, "But I need to talk to and find Rogue." I walk out of the door without allowing Ace to say another word. I walked up to Rogue's door and his house seemed empty and dark. I knocked on the door and waited. There was no answer. Finally, I let myself in.

"Rogue?" I ask as I enter. The house was dark and seemed like no one had been in there for a couple of days. Where the f**k is he?

I looked around and called out for him again, and still no answer. As I kept searching, I found myself at his table by his couch and saw the picture of him and I. My heart instantly shattered. His smile from the picture sent tears to my eyes. Did I really f**k up between us? I was supposed to be with him and yet I fell for someone else. I am so f*****g stupid.

My thoughts are instantly interrupted by the sound of the door opening. Rogue stood at the door with a bag on his back and he looked distraught. He must have gone out again last night. He looks up to me and I see the shock in his eyes and notices that I am holding the picture. His face stiffens as he comes through the door and closes it behind him.

"Amni, what are you doing here?" He sounded like his usual self, but I could tell something was bugging him. He was tense and wouldn't soften himself.

"I came to check on you. I told you last night that I was going to come see you." I say, worried. Something is wrong...

"I went out on a hunt for food and such." He places the bag down and walks past me and sat down on the couch. He is barely making any eye contact and I could see his eyes were swollen.

"Rogue, what's wrong?" I ask. "I know something is up." He still refused to look at me and I began to feel hurt, and guilt come over me again.

"Amni..." He starts and bites his lip. "Amni, I was going to tell you." he said. I immediately knew what he meant. My heart shattered and I could feel tears swell up. He then looked at me and saw that I knew I had hurt him.

"I'm sorry, Rogue..." I begin but he raises his hand to stop me.

"You're not ready. I know that. I get it. But I don't know if I can see you sleeping with other people anymore. It hurts... I was going to tell you last night when you came home, and I was back... But when I saw you were already in bed with someone else..." He stopped himself and looked away again. He was trying to hide tears from forming. Rogue takes a deep breath and looks back at me. "What are you two?" His question shocked me, and I felt regret instantly. I look away from him and I can feel that I hurt him badly.

"I don't know, Rogue..." I quietly say. "I barely know him, yet he wants us to be something. But yet, I'm in love with you and I have feelings for him I can't understand." I could feel his eyes still on me and he was tense still. I then realized what I had said. I told him that I loved him... Yet I have feelings for Ace...

I could hear him get up and move around towards me. I instantly expected him to tell me to get out, yet his arms pulled me into a hug, and I felt safe and secure like I did when I first met him. My eyes flashed to the memory of when he first did this, and I cried in his arms. That is when I noticed that I was crying in his arms again. He caresses me and comforts me, making sure I know that I was okay and safe.

"Tell me that again." He whispered. "Please." My eyes swell with tears. I want to be with Rogue, but I have feelings for Ace...

"Rogue..." I begin to say. Just as I was about to say it, our town sirens went off and I looked up to Rogue immediately. Something is wrong. We both instantly ran outside to find the gates up in flames and the townspeople running around scared. A group of people are attacking and killing our guardsmen. I intuitively knew. Raiders. Rogue pushes me back inside the house.

"Stay here!" he says and heads back out the door. He grabs his Katana that was by the doorway

"Are you f*****g insane?! I am not staying back and doing nothing!" He grabs my shoulders and looks me in the eyes.

"I am not letting anything happen to you." He says to me calmly. "I love you." he says as he pulls me into a kiss. He instantly runs out the door and gives me one more look before running out there. He then slams the door shut.

"Rogue!" I yelled, but I was too late. I instantly turned around and searched his house for other weapons and found his semi-automatic rifles in his closet. I grabbed one, along with the ammo that was next to it. Before I left the house, I grabbed the picture off the table and headed outside.

Women and children screamed and ran past me. I headed toward the chaos. I yelled at the townspeople to head for the shelter house that was on the other side of town. It was a boarded-up home with steel and gates for emergency. I find my way through the town to the gates and find the Raiders yelling and cheering in the victories of their kills. As I pull the gun up to aim for them, I saw Ace and Rogue killing them in the distance. I pulled the trigger and killed a couple when I noticed I got both Ace's and Rogue's attention.

"Amni!" they both yelled but I kept shooting. The Raiders shot up from that name and instantly saw me and smiled.

"There she is boys!" one of them yelled and they began to come at me and forgot completely about Rogue and Ace. How the f**k do they know me and what the f**k do they want from me?!

Ace and Rogue ran after them and began killing them left and right. I shot at each one as they came closer to me. Before I knew it, the gun was clicking, showing that I had run out of ammo. f**k!

I dropped the gun, reached into my knife holster, and grabbed it. The first couple that got to me I killed, but I was too slow on one and he grabbed me behind my back and held my hands behind me as he grabbed my knife and held it to my throat. He and three others were the only ones left. Ace and Rogue stopped in their tracks as they saw the knife in my neck. The raider holding me laughed.

"Step any closer and I'll kill this b***h!!" he yelled at them. Rogue's eyes were filled with worry and fear. Ace's were angered and also scared.

"This fight isn't for you!! It's for her!!" another raider yelled back at them. "Our boss wants her alive, but if we have to, we will kill her!" They all chuckled and I could see that they were enjoying seeing both Rogue and Ace watching in terror.

"Step aside and let us through!" the one holding me yelled at them.

"In your f*****g dreams!" Rogue yelled back. I knew he was not going to let me go without a fight. The Raider holding me then gave a signal to one of his friends. His friend pulled up his gun and aimed for Rogue.

"NO!" I screamed and kicked the raider behind me and lunged into his friend just as he pulled the trigger.

"AMNI!!" I hear both Ace and Rogue yell and I see the bullet hit Rogue in the leg. He yelled in pain as he fell to the ground. I got up and tried to run to him but was instantly tackled.

"You little b***h!" the one yelled at me and strangled me down. Another one began tying my hand behind my back and pulled me up again. Ace was by Rogue, trying to mend to his wound and the Raiders then put a cloth in my mouth to keep me quiet. They aim the gun at them again and begin walking me past them.

"Either one of you try s**t, I'm gonna kill both of you and make her watch!" one of them said. I tried to scream for them, but I knew it wasn't going to help. They walked me out of the gates and kept an eye behind us, making sure that neither Ace nor Rogue followed us. I look back and see that Rogue is staring at me, crying and I hear him scream my name before we walk further into the distance. My eyes swell up and a tear run down my face.
