Patience and Love:

Jackson POV:     I wasn't entirely sure what they were going to find when they were in there but I must admit that I am curious to see what all has been hidden from her, Alley and Ambrosia were perfectly still and I never once took my eyes off of her. "What do you think they will find?" Tye asked. "I have no idea honestly we just need to make sure we all keep a level head." Pythia said looking up. Ambrosia started twitching and she gripped my hand a little tighter before I seen Alley lift her head. "Is something wrong?" I asked. "No, I need Pythia, there seems to be branches or something laced with dark magic that I can't touch." Alley replied. "What do you mean?" Pythia asked. "You'll just have to see for yourself, I will open the link soon so just hang tight okay?" Alley said. I nodded my head and watched them both fall asleep in a way. Or at least that is what it looked like to me. They way they were settled with their eyes closed, a random twitch here and there, "I wonder what she meant." Tye said. "I don't know but if dark magic was used then only Pythia can touch it." I replied.      I heard the front door open and I didn't pay much attention, until I looked up and seen Troy and Braxton staring at us. "Everything alright? You two look pissed." I said. "We needed to talk to Ambrosia but I see that she is busy." Braxton replied. "They are helping her get her memories back, what is going on?" I asked. "Wait what? What memories?" Troy asked. "We were talking about Xander and her childhood and we figured out that her memories have been messed with." I replied. "Well Xander has been tearing his way through towns and cities around us like he is looking for something and we were close to catching him." Troy said. "We got there a little too late but we did find a note pad with names written on them and we were going to see if she knew who they were." Braxton added. "What are the names?" I asked. Braxton pulled out a small pocket note pad and handed it to me, "Silas, Zafrina, Jakobe and Penny." I read out loud. I've never heard her mention any of those names before.      I looked up at Tye and he just shrugged his shoulders. "I'll ask her when they get done, maybe the names will be somewhere in her memories." I said looking at them. "Still no sign of what he is doing?" Tye asked. "No, it is obvious now that he is looking for these people, we were going to talk to Lillith to see if they could do some sort of locator spell so we can find them before he does." Troy replied. "Let me know what she says, feel free to use our trackers to help keep up with him if you need them." I said looking back down at Ambrosia. I hardly heard them leaving because Alley had opened the link and we could finally see what they were seeing. It was kind of like watching a very large TV screen. I could see everything that they did and I now understood what she was talking about. We could now see them nearing a door but everything around them was like thick black snakes that were slowly dissolving. "That looks gross." Tye muttered. Ambrosia hesitated before she finally swung the door open and a world of new memories started to surface.      I could see her younger self, she look small and frail, there was a commotion outside of the door before it flew opened and her younger self shrunk to the nearest corner. My eyes landed on her father and he looked like a force to be reckoned with. He was screaming about his brother that was killed by wolves, while he slammed her around. Anger began to rise up within me and Blaze started pacing not liking what he was seeing. He started dragging her down a hall and Xander surfaced screaming at him to let him go, "So when they were children he was protective." Tye said quickly. I couldn't bring myself to say anything because I was locked in to what I was seeing. Her father was absolutely ruthless. "It's just a memory Blaze." I said quickly trying to calm him down. I didn't need to lose control with the kids here in the house. He pulled her down to what looked like a basement and I was horrified by what I seen. "What the fuck." I snapped, "Silas enough!" A woman identical to Ambrosia yelled from the door. "Zafrina stay out of this!" He roared. "Oh s**t. Those are her parents, the name on the list. Xander is looking for their parents." Tye said.     The younger version of Ambrosia was thrown on a table just like her mother was, the only difference was her mother was beaten. Xander tried to sneak in and untied her and helped her down but not before her father snatched him up and literally choked him until he passed out. He turned his attention towards Ambrosia and as soon as the words left his mouth Tye started yelling in the back and my body shook uncontrollably. "That son of a b***h!" Blaze roared. It was an inner fight between me and my wolf, I could not let him lose his s**t with kids here. "Calm down! Blaze calm down the kids are here!" Tye screamed. A growl ripped through me as Ambrosias memories slapped me straight across the face and I watched her pass out. Pythia and Alley ran to her while Sage covered them.  Blazes anger was too much for me to control, I was shoved to the back while he surfaced. Tye hit us from the side letting Rex come out. Rex snarled which didn't help, "IT'S JUST A MEMORY!" Rex roared. "HE HURT HER!" Blaze yelled back.      Rex drove his fist in to my jaw and Blaze growled loudly. "Think of the kids you selfish bastard! Get a hold on yourself!" Rex yelled. "Blaze just listen you dumbass! The twins are in the next room and the others are upstairs." I yelled out. The sound of the kids running down the stairs caught Blazes attention long enough for me to shove him back away. "Daddy?" Artemis called out. "It's fine, go and play." I said as calmly as I could. "Thank you Rex." I said looking up. He sat back down and gave Tye his control back. "Sorry man, it needed to happen." Tye said quietly. "Don't apologize. You are right, it needed to happen. I understand his anger though. I'll be having a long talk with him later." I replied. Alley and Pythia were in tears trying to get her to wake back up when she finally did. She was confused but I could tell she was hiding what she truly felt. Tye and I sat in silence while they were figuring out who the woman was when her name was called out. Penny. I looked up at Tye, "Okay something is really wrong. Her dad had a mistress names Penny who was also a dark witch that tampered with all of their memories?" Tye said.      "How much do you want to bet that Jakobe is a half sibling." I said. "You think so?" Tye asked. "Well, if she was his mistress it isn't too far fetched that she would become pregnant with a child." I replied. It made more sense now. Xander had his memories messed with in a way to make Ambrosia seem absolutely evil and needed to be rid of this world but why? "Look. There is a note." Tye said quickly. I listened extra closely so I could hear what she was saying, that was the downfall of not actually being there with them. We could only hear bits and pieces of the conversations. It was a note from her mother, apparently her memories had been messed with and she was leaving but promised she would be back for her and her brother. What has stopped her from resurfacing? It has been centuries since Ambrosia has taken over, she could have came back at any time. "We meed to find these people before Xander does." I said quickly. "They are already making a plan to get a locator spell done. Look." Tye said.      I listened to Ambrosia read a rule out loud, Her father needed her brother to kill her so that he could regain control because he knew Ambrosia would take over to get out from his temper. This is all insane. If her father wanted control so badly why didn't he push Xander to kill her sooner? Surely he knows who she is surrounded by now. None of us would let them even let them touch her. We have found out so much stuff in a short time and we needed to get to work on finding those people and I swear if she doesn't kill her father than I will. I'm sure Pythia will not spare whoever this Penny woman is either, our line was cut and we couldn't see anything. "We need to get all the trackers we can spare over here now." I said. "I've already called on them." Tye said. "We are going to need more than that." Pythia said standing to her feet. I looked down at Ambrosia then to Alley. "Why is she not waking up?" I asked. "Walk with me brother." Alley said standing to her feet and holding out her hand.     I didn't move, I didn't want her to wake up and be alone, "She won't be awake for a bit. I am watching over her but you need to walk with me." Alley said easily. I finally stood to my feet and we walked out of the back door. "I felt Blazes rage. Are you okay?" Alley asked. "No. Not even in the slightest but I need to contain him because the children are here." I replied. "Listen to me very carefully, she is going to need time, patience and a lot of love. Do not push her to talk about what her memories hold, let her open up to you." Alley said looking at me. "I can do that but how do I keep her from losing herself?" I asked. "I'm not sure, she will probably go through a series of emotions. You are her mate, you will get her through this we all will. Hold on tight to her, in the end she will want revenge and you have to let her have that." Alley said. I took a deep breath, I don't know how to handle this situation because it's never happened before.      Maybe my mom would know how to help her although if she doesn't I know she will know of someone who could. "Alley, Braxton and Troy came by while y'all were in there and they almost caught Xander but they found a note pad with names scribbled on in. Silas, Zafrina, Jakobe and Penny. Three of those names were in her memories." I said. Alley took the note pad from my hands and looked at it. "He is looking for his parents and the mistress  but who is Jakobe?" Alley asked. "I don't know but what if he is a half sibling? Think about it. The mistress could have been pregnant." I replied. "Could be, Pythia is going to look in to the dark magic that Penny was using while also doing a locator spell to find her mother. Silas has been hunting her since Ambrosia took over. Xanders memories aren't really his so we need to find him quickly." Alley said. "How long until she wakes up?" I asked. "When she is ready to. She is taking the time she needs, here." Alley said grabbing my head.      I could see Ambrosia was curled in to a ball tucked under Sage, Sage had her arm wrapped protectively around her while she cried her pain out. It broke my heart to see her like that but right now I am glad she at least has Sage. "Just give her time. She is a strong woman and will get through this. I told her that I would pull her out when she is ready so why don't you take her to the bed and let her rest, go talk to mom because I know you want to and I'll let you know if she is ready to come back so you can be there when she wakes up." Alley said. I nodded my head and walked back inside. Pythia and Tye were talking but I decided to tune them out. I picked up my beautiful queen and took her upstairs and laid her under the covers. I took one last look at her before I walked back down, "Courtney can you please watch Artemis and Ari?" I asked. "Of course, take your time." Courtney said with a soft smile. I practically ran out of the door and shifted letting Blaze run to work out his temper.      It didn't take us long to arrive at my parents house, I shifted at the tree line and walked up to the house, the door swung open and my mother walked out with drinks and snacks. "Sit down, Alley has told me." My mother said gently. Of course Alley told her, truthfully I am thankful for it I wouldn't even know how to begin to bring this up or ask for advice. "Alley said it best, time patience and love is what she will need but you also need to figure out a way for her to work her anger out." My mother said. "I don't know how to begin all of that. As far as her working her anger out there is a few different things I could try I guess." I replied. "What does she typically do when she gets frustrated or upset?" My mother asked. "She trains hard. Not with a person but like with a brick wall or something." I laughed. "Sounds like her, she is a bit strong for everyone but maybe you could try that. I can keep Artemis and Ari for a few days while the two of you go somewhere secluded and in the time frame let her work out all the anger she has to help ease it for her." My mother said.      That is actually a good idea, I know of a little cabin not too far from here so that we can be close enough if anything where to happen. "She will shed a lot of tears and she will go through a lot of things. Maybe even have nightmares as she relives her lost memories. Don't be afraid to call on me if you need anything. I need to spend more time with her." My mother said looking at the sky. "We can always figure out days, but I think you are right. I need to take her away for a few days. I know she wouldn't want the kids to see her in that state of mind." I replied. "Let her have her vengeance Jackson. You must give that much to her. Alley will be talking to the council keeping them in the loop and it will be up to Ambrosia to decide what happens to her father and it will be up to Pythia will decide on what happens to Penny although I am pretty sure we know the outcome of it all." My mother said easily. "No one will be able to stop Ambrosia from doing what she wants but she is fair with it all at least." I replied. "How do I keep her from losing herself?" I asked.      My mother turned and looked at me, "You hold on to her because your life depends on it. Smother her with love and affection, love her hard on her best days but harder on her worst days. Remind her of the good instead of the bad. Do little things for her but most of all guide her." I tilted my head to the side a little confused. "Guide her?" I asked. "Guide her to the light, to the love, to happiness." My mother said with a smile as she stood to her feet. "Alley is about to bring Ambrosia back. You need to be there when she wakes up. I'll bring dinner over later now go." My mother said hugging me. "I love you mom." I whispered. "I love you too Jackson." She replied stepping back. I ran off the porch and shifted letting Blaze run home so that we could be there to embrace Ambrosia when she wakes up......
