Vannessa found Vittorio’s phone book and she searched it for names he mentioned before. She started with Alessio, because she met him and he seemed like a guy that can keep a secret if needed.
“Hey, girl. Did you find anything?” Alessio greets her.
“No. I’m sorry to call you so early.” She answers. “We went to see Kara, but she said Vittorio never showed up there.”
“That’s what I thought. We couldn’t get anything useful off of his phone, but the Commissioner came through and put him on sick leave, so he doesn’t lose his job over something he didn’t do.”
“Wow. That man really does care.” Vannessa smiles.
“Yeah. I’m sorry I don’t have any news. Try Allegra, maybe she overheard something. Dad is high in the ranks of the pack.” Alessio tells her.
“I will. I even have her number.” Vanness
