      “I’m sorry for overreacting” I heard him say as I reached the door. His voice was sad. I hesitantly turned around and went back to my seat as my small hand touched his. I was still angry at him, but I knew it came from a good place, rejection was a difficult thing for a wolf, and he lost both his wolf and his mate.      “I didn’t know” I told him, and sadness adorned his face as his blonde lashes touched his cheek.
