My human alpha mate( imperfect mates two)

     “Mom, don't you think I'm packing too many clothes?” I said, sitting on top of my suitcase that just refused to close. I was travelling away from the island to finally search for my mate.            “You're going to find him this time Abby, and when you do, you're going to need all these clothes, because you will have to stay longer over there” she said, smiling. I left the suitcase, went to sit next to her on my bed and put my head on her shoulder.      “I'm going to miss you so much” I said with teary eyes. She was not only my mother, but my best friend as well, and we told each other everything, and I mean everything. Sometimes, I remind her not to overshare. I didn't want to know what the Luna and Alpha do behind closed doors. Having so many children has already told me enough.      “I'm going to miss you more. Who am I going to have afternoon talks with, and gossip with when you're gone? I'm sure you're not going to have time for your mother after you find your mate" she said with teary eyes.       ‘She will have me' Voice answered in my link, but I ignored her. She was jealous of our relationship, for reasons only known to a she wolf.        “I will always have time for my favorite mom" I said, laughing as tears fell freely.       “I'm your only mother, but I want you to promise me one thing, Abigail Black" the conversation suddenly turned serious, and the full name-calling made me pay attention because she hardly called me Abigail, and right now, adding my last name meant she was serious.      “What's wrong, Lilian Black?” I said jokingly, but her lips never twisted into a smile. They were in a straight firm line, and her eyes were hard and serious, turning a shade darker.      “You know I have one regret in my life, and that's not fighting for my true mate” she said, looking sad. Tears threatened to fall and I’ve never seen my mother so sad. I hated seeing her that way. She already told me about her and uncle Caleb, our Beta and the best fighter on the island.        Although my mother says he was not always like that, he used to smile a lot. He was playful back in those days, but I know him as this serious warrior who was always on the fighting grounds.      “I thought the bond between you both broke years ago. Do you still love him?” I had the edge to read her thoughts to find out what she was thinking, but I couldn't break the trust we had and invade her privacy.      “It did, and I was happy. I had everything I could ever want and don't get me wrong, I'm content with everything. I have you children, and your father makes me happy, but seeing him so sad all these years after Cindy left him for a human hurts me every day. I feel partly responsible, and I think I still have-“ she let the words linger in her mouth without saying them. I don't think she can even admit it to herself without feeling guilty.      “It's okay mom, I think everything has a way of working itself out, and I'm sure you and dad can work this out also" I said, giving her a side hug. She also hugged me for a second before pushing me away, wiping her tears, and putting her famous Luna smile      “Forget about that, what I was trying to tell you is that no matter what happens or how hard things become, when you find him, please do whatever it takes. Don’t give up and keep fighting for him, and just know, that I support you a hundred percent. Don’t repeat my mistake, okay?" she said, smiling.     “I will” I said, getting up to try and close the last of my suitcase again. My eyes looked everywhere except her.     “Promise me, Abigail” she said firmly, and I flinched at her tone. She knew me better than I knew myself, and knew what I was thinking. I felt her presence from behind me, and she hugged me as tears fell freely on my cheeks.     “You're a beautiful young lady, Abigail. Your heart is pure and your weight has nothing to do with what's on the inside. I'm sure he’s going to love those hips and that ass” I giggled at her language. She was too comfortable with me, and her words always made me feel better.     “You said ass, mother. You’re just ridiculous. You’re a Luna, lead by example" I said, turning to hug her tightly, knowing that I'm going to miss her so much, but the knock on the door broke our moment. We both groaned because we knew who was at the door, by his scent and dominating aura.    “Can I come in?” he asked, his head already in the room.        “You're already in the room, dad" I giggled, shaking my head.       “I wanted to see how my favorite ladies are doing, and to tell you both I love you, since you're crying a lot in this room"    “I love you too, now please Alpha, close this suitcase before the pilot leaves me behind” I said, pouting.       “I'm the pilot tonight, I want to make sure you arrive safe. You know I never trusted Dominic, he’s too-“ he paused for a moment, trying to find the right words to describe my seventeen year old brother, who just started his new pack last year in a small town in Eastern Cape.       “Irresponsible, yeah that's the word” he said, closing the bag with ease.   “He’s not, he just doesn't like following your rules, that's all” I said, kissing his cheek as thanks for closing the bag. I was already carrying the smallest of them all, leaving the others for him to carry to the truck.       “You're too hard on them. Now go before I hug my own daughter tightly, and never let her go” Mom said, making Dad chuckle.     “I swear you love her more than me. I really hope she finds her mate this time, so I can have my wife all to myself" although my father didn't mean anything by it, I saw the hurt in my mother's eyes, and she hid it with a smile as tears clouded her eyes.      “Nonsense, now go Abby and don't forget what I told you okay? I'm always here for you” she said, kissing my cheeks and pushing us both out of the room. I knew that no matter what, I will never forget what she said. Not the part about my mate, but the part that she's hurting, and there was nothing I could do to help.       I gave her one last look and a wave, before my father carried me on one hand, and my suitcase on the other like I weight nothing. His truck was outside, while I giggled like a small child.
