Jamie’s POV
There was no more time to waste questioning Brynn. The living Tarot Cards were scattered throughout the house. I ignored my possessed ex best friend and focused my intuition. Tarot Cards had always come easily to me. I was a curious person and always wanted to know more. I sensed it. My first card. I dashed up the stairs, dodging a shaky Evangeline. Brynn seemed to be having trouble moving her body. I burst into my room. A black-eyed Jessie sat on my bed. He smiled seductively at me.
My heart sped up. I knew this was not the real Jessie but his handsome face always had this effect on me. He rose to his feet and practically glided towards me, his movements impossibly graceful.
