Pierre in cool mode as days passes, he and Athena is in romantic pages and they were in the same 'Mood' every f*****g night for four days now that made him in glowing eyes.
"Anong nakain mo, bombilya?" it was Radeon who kept on giving Pierre a sideways look.
Isa din 'to.
"Oo nga, nag blink blink at star star pa o!" Pierre smirked 'coz literally, he knew this f*****g Geoffrey is mocking him again, as usual.
Mathew on the other hand is playing his phone and suddenly, he just flew!
That's the moment when you throw your phone to hard but you did a ninja move to keep it from falling and it always got worst because it was just bouncing from one place to another and another!
Wall to wall pa nga!
Geoffrey just tap the phone in front of him, flew back to where López is standing. "f**k it Geoff! Best friend naman!" atungal nito pero ngising aso lang ang isinagot ni Geoffrey.
"Today my Phone Fell but I saved it by kicking it against the Wall!" Pierre said then chuckled.
Mathew looks like he is plotting the murder of this humans. That death stare is just something but Pierre just shrugged his shoulder "Fucker!" aniya.
And It’s like López is calculating the prison term in his head the way he is looking at all of them— flatly.
Oh sure he can do it. No doubt to that.
"Get it! f**k López!" sigaw ni Pierre nang hindi nito pinansin ang cellphone at nakatitig lang ito kay Geoffrey na para bang inaasahan nitong sasaluhin iyon ng huli.
And that's exactly what happened.
Napailing na lang si Pierre habang nakangisi naman si Mathew.
Lunatic indeed.
Pierre didn’t realize he could see murder in someone’s eyes before the phone handed to its owner. It's like the catcher was thinking over and over how he will going to ruin López life but the latter didn't give a s**t out of the death stare.
"Bagay kayo. isang uto-uto at isang baliw na mahilig mang-uto. Mga hinayupak!" —Pierre look up to the ceiling then put his two hands on his both sides waist —" How did I ended up befriended into people like this oh Lord!"
"Dahil kami ay iyong iniirog" anang López na naka upo na. He even crossed his legs the way Pierre can feel pain because what he can see is something will pop the soonest —the called, egg balls!
"Iniirog your face!" Geoffrey hissed.
Pierre is about to throw a pillow to López when his phone beep. So he focused in it.
The sender is his wife. He should—no, delete that —must prioritize her.
BABY: can you please come and fetch me? I'm stuck in the middle of life and death here.
Napatawa siya ng wala sa oras pero na pabusangot ng ang dalawang gago ay naka tunganga sa kanya "What?!" he asked flatly.
Lumabi lang ang dalawa saka tumabi kay Radeon na kanina pa naghihilik sa likuran ng mahabang sofa.
Pierre left the house, it was a 'very nice' get together — Radeon's words not his — and they didn't do anything than bickering.
Nang makarating si Pierre sa café na sinabi ng asawa, mabilisan siyang bumaba sa kotse at pumasok doon.
There he saw his wife, busy drinking something in her cup using a straw.
Pierre sit in front of her. Naka pagitan ang mesa sa kanila. But he shook his head when he saw how she is sitting again.
Nakataas na naman ang isang paa nito at nakapatong sa malapit sa pang upo nito. Meaning, she's too happy by her food.
That's her.
Pierre smiled at his wife sweetly "Hi babe"
Athena just nodded.
"You want to drink? I will order for you" anito kapagkuwan.
Pierre shook his head. "Nah. I'm good. Just enjoy your drink baby" aniya saka humalukipkip sa dibdib nito at sumandig sa sandalan ng upuan.
When Athena finish, the two went out and they decided to go home, as Athena's first wish. Well, aside from the 2 more next orders that she had.
Pierre was just sitting there, tolerating the wife.
Nang makarating sa bahay, umupo lang ang babae sa ibabaw ng island counter samantalang ang lalaki naman ay tumayo sa pagitan ng mga hita nito.
Athena smiled from ear to ear and buried her face to his chest" I'm tired. So so much tired " pasumbong na sabi nito.
Pierre placed a soft kisses on top of her head saka niyakap ng mahigpit ang asawa." You want me to carry you up? Piggy back " may bahid na ngiting sambit nito.
" Yes please " walang lakas na sabi ng babae.
Pierre wanted to know what she did the whole day but he didn't ask her. But his curiosity is consuming him so he opened his mouth. "What made you exhausted babe?"
Athena snorted "that's what frustrating me! I didn't do anything but to eat and eat muffins and here I am, parang lumulutang na sa ulap dahil sa pagod!" anito.
Pierre chuckled and worried at the same time. "You okay babe?"
But Athena gave him assurance that she's fine and just tired. So he felt good about it. But not much. Matanong nga mamaya..
In his mind, he will just ask Thad's wife. f**k. She's a surgeon. But she's a doctor too. He tssk in his thoughts.
Imbes na ubusin ang laman ng utak sa iniisip, maingat na lang niyang dinala ang asawa sa kwarto nila.
Athena went sleep after Pierre fixing the bed and the comforter. Pierre went down after that.
Nang matapos magluto, pinuntahan niya ang asawa pero tulog pa din ito. It's already 7PM and she needs to eat but he doesn't want to wake her up so he stayed beside her and cuddle her.
Athena opened her eyes and yawn but she smiled genuinely and gently when she saw Pierre staring at her,leaning his temple on his closed fist. "Hi"
Pierre hug Athena then placed a deep kiss on her forehead "Tara na, kain muna tayo bago tayo matulog. Pagod din ako.. Those mother fuckers sucked my strength today" aniya saka bumangon na hatak ang asawa.
Athena look at Pierre, narrowing her eyes like saying 'What they did to you' look.
Pierre chuckled, this wife of his is better than police officer, greater than investigating captain that he can never lie. "They made frustrated the whole time that I'm with them. Mga baliw e"
Nag-inat muna si Athena saka pilit na ginigising ang sarili dahil antok na antok ang pakiramdam niya.
When Pierre saw his wife being so lazy, he sighed "Maghintay ka muna dito babe. Dito na tayo kumain" masuying sambut niya.
Athena once again yawn "is it okay with you? Pagod ka kamo. Huwag na bumaba na tayo" aniya saka bumaba sa kama.
She tried her best to be alert and focus, ayaw niyang maging pabigat sa lalaki. When he saud he's tired, then he is.
Pierre isn't the kind of man who can say he's tired in an instant.
Pierre and Athena eat with little talks a and after that, Pierre tlod his wife to go up first at ito na ang nagligpit sa kusina.
Sa isip-isip niya, yayakagin niya bukas ang asawa para magpa tingin sa doctor. She's not her anymore.
Athena isn't that lazy.
Morning came and Pierre asking Athena several times already to go to the hospital because he's so f*****g worried but Athena declined.
"Babe!"
"What?" Athena asked flatly.
"Ayaw mo talaga?" naiirita nang tanong lalaki pero wala doon ang isip ni Athena. "No"
Pierre sighed and shook his head. Another face of his wife, if she says 'White' that's mean 'white' simply, a 'no' is a 'no'! I'm f****d!
He doesn't know how to tame this one. "Bye then.. I go to work. I have important things to do today but I will be in the phone from time to time to check on you babe.. Is that okay?"
He doesn't want to leave the house but Athena said he doesn't need to worry because she’s fine.
He is pulling his hair secretly but maybe his wife was an eagle at her past life" Stop pulling your hair. I said I'm fine. Katawan ko 'to. Huwag kang pabibo Montoya " she said and put three pieces of fries in her mouth.
" You sure? " anang Pierre na nakapa maywang.
Athena just nodded.
He don't have any choice, yeah? He tsk, sighed and shook his head. "Bye sugar babe" Pierre kissed her on her forehead because there's no use of arguing.
Hindi siya mananalo, kailan man, he concluded, accepted and conceded.
Athena just nod while eating French fries early in the morning because suddenly sje craved for it "Bye salt" she said whe Pierre is on the door.
Pierre froze.
The turn, the straight face, the silence, Pierre already knew it, she was on something.
"What did you just call me?!"
Athena can hear frustration, shock and confusion on his voice but she just shrug her shoulder. "Wel I'm calling you SALT with the big letters in it, caps lack para intense, damang dama mo gan'on" aniya na lumabi pa ng bahagya.
Pierre let out a shaky laugh. "What the f**k is salt? Babe! —he clearly cleared his throat —" I'm calling you sugar babe. Baby. Babe" — he wave his hand on the air, motioning his wife like giving her the 'look' kind of code in his waving hand, but Athena as usual, just smirk —" What the f**k is salt? Are you mocking me or something? Can you please enlighten me?" anito sabay kamot sa ituktok nga ulo gamit ang isang daliri. "Am I a condiments to you?" he added frustrated as hell.
" Puwes mister, I’m calling you salt, salt is good!!!! " Athena said in giggles" better then adobo tho" she said.
Pierre fell in love with adobo, without any soy sauce in it, instead all salt! Imagine that?
She’s smart to think about that tho. But this b***h is so dumbass not knowing she's trying to call him using the 'salt' as her endearment. b***h!
" Yeah. yeah! All condiments!!bye pepper!" Pierre said with a smirked then left the house.
Athena tsk. They're not even condiments. She murmured then turn her self to her French fries and focus in it again.
Pierre is dumbest, he figured it just now that he's just sitting in his so-called 'friends' when Adrian tongue slipped 'Ginger'.
Salt.. What the...
Dali dali siyang tumayo "Is salt a kind of endearment?!" halos pasigaw niyang tanong sa mga tao na nasa paligid niya.
Geoffrey who is busy on his phone lift his head up and gave him a flat look.
Adrian and Jake, They turned their heads at each other, straight face “he said..What?”
Joshua and López together with Radeon said“ hold up” ng sabay-sabay.
"What did you say? Salt? As in A-S-I-N-? " it was Jake.
Pierre nodded, napakamot ito sa ulo "Y-Yeah? I think so.." he said full of confusion.
He's so ready to hear what they can tell but the mother fucker just shrugged their shoulders and said 'Congratulations' at thesame time.
"Ah?" naguguluhan niyang sambit but no one dared to tell me
Napakunot noo siya habang si Jake ay nangingiti. Joshua is smiling too. While Radeon chuckled "Mine is weirdest" anito.
López grin "Mine is the sweetest" sabi nito. They can see proud in his eyes.
Sure, his wife is scary as hell. They know López's wife. She can be sweet alright, she's good woman and person too but she has this aura that can kill in just a simple smile.
Instead of being stuck in this kind of situation, Pierre went out from the basement of Radeon's house here in KMNV and went straight to his car.
He drove home. Ilang metro lang nmn ang pagitan ng mga bahay nila. Nasa kabilang street lang ang sa kanila.
When Pierre entered the house, he saw his wife, busy.. Wait a damn minute.. "Babe! Is that a cat?" malalaki ang hakbang niyang sambit.
"Ay hinde..." umirap ang asawa saka tumaas ang sulok ng mga labi nito. Sure, she's smirking and being savage again ".. This is goat. Not cat.. Kita mo?" anito.
"Tutong na ako sa'yo" Pierre said, so low but Athena heard it. "What did you just said Mr. Montoya?" nakataas kilay nitong sambit.
Pierre cleared his throat.
He is shy to ask about the salt. He was dumb enough to not realize it earlier. He said code instead "280" na ang ibig sabihin ay... be mine.
