Sorry sa super late updates lately guyz.. ?
We don’t meet people by accident. Everyone is meant to cross our path for a reason like for Athena, maybe she met Pierre for her to have a scapegoat in everything.
Not to hide from reality but to cool down for a little while. "Are you okay?" Pierre asking her but Athena just busy eating chips inside the car while Pierre is driving.
"Ahh" anang Athena with a matching opening of her own mouth, ngumanga naman ang lalaki and Athena give her husband chips in his open mouth.
Pierre just took it without him looking at his wife " thanks babe" anito.
Athena nodded even if Pierre isn't going to see it dahil naka tutok lang ito sa daan. "Malayo pa ba tayo?"
"Malapit na babae, pagod ka na? Gusto mong magpahinga muna?" he gave Athena a side glance "There's a restaurant nearby, we can eat our lunch there —"
"—gutom ka?" she cut him off not to be rude but she's just being worried about him.
Pagod na siguro ito dahil kanina pa ito nagmamaneho.
"There's that... And I want you to try their food, it's kinda tasty. I'm sure you will like it babe" Pierre said it casually like his too sure.
Athena smiled. "Oookay then" she said in sing song voice made Pierre chuckle. "That's my girl" anito.
When they reach the said restaurant, Pierre made sure that he ordered the best menu for his wife.
She loves to eat by the way.
They decided to go to tagaytay this morning. Get away from the city. Weekend naman at wala siyang trabaho kaya naman naisipan niyang yayain ang asawa para magpalamig.
They eat their lunch with a smile. After that, they went out from the restaurant and when Pierre is about to get in, Athena hold his shirt to stop him.
Nagtataka itong napalingon sa asawa. Nagtatanong ang mga matang napatitig siya dito.
Worry is all written in his face but it vanished when she smiled sweetly at him.
Athena shook her head "I'll drive, pahinga ka muna" sabi nito saka binuksan ang pinto ng drivers side. "And it's not a prank so don't ya worry" she added and wink flirtily.
Skipping a beat of heart with that sexy wink, Walang nagawa si Pierre kundi lumipat sa kabila while heavily breathing.
Truly, his wife is a sucker.. Sucking the hell out of his lungs.
When Athena started driving, Pierre didn't hide his amazement. She's so hot! 'yon bang nakataas ang isang paa nito habang isang kamay lang ang nakahawak sa manibela. Damn!
Napapalunok siyang nakatingin sa asawa. "You're so hot" aniya.
Athena smirk "Yeah?" but in her mind, she shouldn't fall from his sexy deep voice if she don't want them to be in the morgue the next moment.
"You little brat." naiiling na sabi ni Pierre sa asawa. "You're driving me crazy" he added.
Pierre is now sure, Life based on yourself not others, because you make your own happiness based from what you have not from others. And he have this woman that is making him the happiest man in this universe.
And he's so sure, he will keep this woman for the rest of his life, by hook or by crooked.
After they rich their destination, Athena park the car like a pro. Pierre just staring at his wife who was just took off her seat belt and went out.
Nakapamaywang itong nakatingala sa isang villa sa "Don't tell me bahay mo din ito?" nakataas kilay nitong sambit.
Pierre chuckled in amusement, she just like satated that having a house here on the top of the hill is a crime. "Nah. Hiniram ko lang sa isang kaibigan" aniya.
Athena turn around to face Pierre who is standing behind her "Sure?" aniya dahil sa isang Pierre, having a villa as a vacation is a piece of cake for him.
Pierre hug his wife, wrapping his hands around her waist and smiled na nakatunghay sa naka tingalang babae "Oo nga. Hindi sa'kin 'to babe. This villa is Radeon's at hiniram ko lang. We will just staying here for one night only kaya okay lang naman sa kanya" aniya. Though it's paid.. f**k him!
I will not gonna pay that idiot..
He smirk by his own thoughts then he placed a little wet kisses on her lips. Hindi naman pumalag ang babae and to Pierre's surprise, she deepened the kiss!
Siyang-siya naman siya.
Nang matapos na silang maghalikan, umakyat na sila sa batong hagdan upang makarating sa bahay. When they reach the house, humilata si Athena sa mahabang sofa.
Pierre sit to give his lap as her pillow na agad namang tinggap ng babae. "Tired?"malambing na sabi niya sa babae.
Athena just nodded. " Let's go to the Our Lady of Manaoag later please? " anang Athena habang nakapikit.
Since they suddenly came here, she wanted to visit the place." Okay. Mag rest ka lang muna tapos puntahan na natin 'yon mamaya" Pierre said without telling his wife that he used to go there.
Athena closed her eyes and rest.
Hindi alam ni Athena kung ilang oras siyang nakatulog, basta pagmulat niya ng mga mata, nakita niyang nakahalukipkip ang asawa at nakasandig ang ulo sa backrest ng sofa.
He's snoring a little so she confirmed that he's sleeping. I'm bad.. In her mind, hindi lang naman siya ang napagod. Mas pagod pa nga ito dahil mas malayo naman ang narating nila na ito ang nagmaneho.
Nagpaikot-ikot pa kasi sila, road trips here and there bago nila tinahak ang daan papunta dito.
Nang hindi niya mahintay ang lalaki na gumising, maingat siyang bumangon but Pierre woke up by his reflex "Babe." malat nitong sabi.
Athena look at her husband with shyness. "Hi. Sorry, hindi ko naisip na pagod ka din"
Pierre playfully flick Athena's forehead "Silly. I'm fine huwag ka nang malungkot" he said more on surprise.
In Athena's book of life, asking forgiveness with the man she hates the most since then isn't existing.
Athena pouted "Hindi ah!"
"Weh? 'di nga? Hindi la malungkot sa lagay na' yan?" Pierre wanted to tease his wife dahil alam naman niyang hindi ito aamin.
"Hindi nga! Ang kulit mo ah! Gusto mong ma out of the kulambo?" nakataas na kilay ng babae.
"Hell f**k no!" Pierre said in horror.
Athena smirking as she muttered 'Naman pala e' saka lumayas sa sala. Like she was just won a hand to hand combat with the grin in her lips.
Naiwang napapakamot ng batok ang lalaki. Poor me.. Pierre blows a soft breath then lean back to the backrest of the sofa and closed his eyes.
Pero hindi pa siya naka isang segundo ng ganoong ayos ng tumunog ang cellphone niya.
He took his phone and look at the screen. He frown when the message came from Radeon.
RADar: whatever and however you want, don't go in the basement.
What's going on? He asked his self but didn't reply.
Pierre about to off his phone when it beep again.
RADar: reply!
Nailing siyang pinatay ang cellphone saka bumalik sa pagkaka hilig sa sofa. In his mind, he doesn't give a f**k about basement because he knew exactly what's in there.
I'm so genius.. He smirked.
It’s 3PM and they decided to go to the place Athena wanted to visit.
There is a small church temple next to the statue with a flea market collection of a Jesus statue on the cross, photos of the prophet, and Athena bought some.
Pierre is happily looking at his wife, she's a woman speaks the less, naughty and savage but still, she's a God's daughter.
Nang maayos na nito ang lahat ng pinamili, naglakad lakad na naman sila. Holding each other's hands while walking in the street is so way way good for Pierre. This is lifee..
It’s his dreams after all.
Athena is intertwining their fingers like it's a natural act from them and Pierre sucking his breath because it's to fascinating in his side.
Athena look up and smiled at Pierre who is looking back at his wife with a dark eyes, full of desire. "You happy?" aniya sa kawalan ng maisip na sasabihin.
Athena grin "Very! Thanks to you!" masaya nitong sabi.
"Ikaw pa. Malakas ka kaya sa'kin!" Pierre responded with a kiss on her forehead.
Nangingiti na lang si Athena.
From the Our Lady of Manaoag, they go to the Picnic Grove nearby. The grove is a picturesque and idyllic space for families and couples to come for a picnic.
Pierre is happily sitting in one of the cottage they rent. Nagdala din naman kasi sila ng pagkain. "Gusto kong mag horse riding" anang Athena na ikinatigil ni Pierre.
The fried chicken he's holding froze in the air as he blink three times.. Oo nga no. Bakit hindi ko 'yon naisip? Naiinis siya sa sarili niya dahil parang nagiging tanga na siya.
It’s like when he decided to invest his self to his wife, he already lost his own life.
"But since ayaw mo naman, huwag na lang" anang Athena na walang kaalam-alam sa itsura ng lalaki dahil busy ito sa pagngatngat ng chips na dala nito. "Mag hammock na lang tayo" she added.
"Y-Yeah. Okay babe." Pierre said because he doesn't know how to tell her that he's afraid.
Afraid of her to fall down and dragged by the horse again like she experienced.
He knew she was traumatized back then most especially that it was intentional.
"You want to fly a kite, or get some exercise? Or we just walk.." Pierre said and started eating his chicken.
The place is so wonderful to look. From the top of the sprawling grassy hill, it looks like if you were to roll down you’d fly off into the water and land amongst the islands. The views are just.. Beyond beautiful and it's so refreshing.
Pierre swallowed his food and stop eating and look at his wife who is just busy chewing and filling up her mouth of chips while her eyes is roaming around.
" There are tons of activities here but horseback riding is prohibited for you. There's this ziplining if you want to fly in the sky. Well I know you're a pilot but ziplining isn't like flying an airplane. You want to go swimming.. f**k no! It's not applicable for you—"
"—Why not tho? " anang Athena na naka tingin na sa asawa.
She’s looking at him flatly. She couldn't understand this mother fucker in front of her.
" Ayoko nga. Ano sila sinuswerte? Your hot and everything but I think, God made you for my eyes only. Mag shopping na lang tayo—"
"—Ayoko nga"
Pierre frown "O 'di Mag cable car riding na lang tayo. Ah basta!" anito na parang batang nasukol sa kung anong maling ginawa.
But for Athena, she find him cute. Possessiveness in it's finest.
Man issues, perhaps. Kaya naman hindi na lang siya nakipag sabayan sa topak nito. Naiiling siyang kinuha ang cellphone saka nag pose, she made sure she took Pierre as her background.
After a lot of shots, she took a solo pic of Pierre and immediately, she used it as her lockscreen.
Nakatitig siya sa larawan nito, then she look up when she heard a clearing of throat "Ako na lang kaya ang titigan mo babe?" anang Pierre na nakatayo na pala sa may bandang side niya.
Spell embarrassed. A.T.H.E.N.A. s**t!! She was so embarrassed making her face on fire but Pierre didn't say anything.
That lessen her embarrassing moment." Panakot sa lamok 'yan" aniya na pilit tinatakpan ang pagkapahiya.
"Thanks babe" Pierre placed a soft kiss on top of her head. Huh? Anyare?
Dapat sanang pagtawanan siya nito dahil kitang kita naman nitong nakatitig siya sa ninakaw niyang picture. But he said' thank you ' instead.
"For letting my existence in your phone" he added.
Athena snorted "Okay lang sa' yo?"
Pierre shrugged his shoulder "You were living in my computers and phones years ago already.. So, I don't have the right to be mad.. Actually, I'm so happy" naka ngiti nitong sabi.
Athena narrowed her eyes "Years you said? Are you perhaps my stalker Mr. Montoya?" nakataas kilay na sabi ng babae.
Nakangiwi si Pierre na inilihis ang paningin. Or more likely embarrassed, Athena could tell by how his face went in flame in an instant. "M-Maybe" he said then cleared his throat.
"Aminin mo na lang, may pa-maybe maybe ka pang nalalaman diyan!" nakairap na sabi ni Athena saka tumayo at humarap sa asawa.
She wrapped her hands to his waist and smiled at him "Tara, lakad lakad tayo. I want to see the whole place" aniya saka matamis na nilaparan ang ngiti.
Pierre sighed in contentment.
They went back to the vacation house after Athena fulfilled her heart with contentment and happiness in the beauty of nature.
They eat their dinner then after that they went to the bed. They cuddle for a while then Pierre extended his shoulder and took his wife’s head and put in there.
"Get some rest babe. Alam kong pagod ka." aniya saka iniyakap ang isang malayang kamay sa baywang nito."Goodnight babe.."
Athena yawn at isiniksik nito ang katawan sa asawa. "Nytie"
Morning came and they decided to go out again. It's their last day here so they need to take the chance.
They went to a restaurant where offering the incredible breakfast with many options such as homemade pork sausage and honey-infused Golden Waffles and more.
Athena happily eat her food at nakangiti lang si Pierre na nakamasid sa asawa. This Athena in front of him is the Athena who was buried in her inner soul.
Malimit kasing umastang tigasin ito well, it's true but she has this childish side that Pierre loves the most. When it comes to food, lumalabas ang pagka 'bata' nito.
Wala itong pakialam sa paligid basta magustuhan ang pagkain, nagkakamay pa nga. Naka taas pa ang isang paa sa upuan.
He couldn't blame her tho, the restaurant is good using quality deli meat and gourmet cheeses, They ordered the Grilled Smoked Ham with Gruyere and Cheddar Cheese and it's so tasty that will make Athena think that she taste heaven already.
She even closed her eyes to savior the taste in her mouth. "Hmmm.. Sooo good" anito.
All the while, They seated next to a large window overlooking the Ta’al Volcano and Lake which ties the entire experience together. "Yeah.. Soo good" anang Pierre but looking to his happy wife. "And I love it"
