I returned home after clearing up all of the mess with the help of my tribrid friend, Travis. I was holding the groceries in my hand and placed them down on the island of the kitchen. First, I went to see my son in the other room to find him asleep peacefully holding his stuffed toy in his hand. I placed a kiss on his chubby cheek and then went in search of my mate to find her sitting on the edge of the bed looking directly at the wall right in front of her lost in thoughts with her eyes puffy red.
“Bella Mia, You are awake.” I said as I entered the room and took steps towards her.
“J...Jared.” She said, her lips trembled and she began to cry again.
“I hurt them...I hurt my family. Did you see the look on my parent's and twin's faces when they heard my answer?”
