Nat and I ran down to where I remembered her family was being kept. Winter had begun, so the heat was lesser than it was before.
“Mum, Jackson?" Her tiny voice echoed through the cells.
Her family rushed forward when they heard her voice. Nat broke down when she saw them. Her family was looking even worse than when I left them here.
Mira was actually crying as she hugged her. Jackson looked like a little child that had been through the worst.
“How're you Mum? I'm sorry I haven't come to see you, it's not easy to get in here. There are guards everywhere and… "
She broke into more tears, and it really hurt me to see her like that. I actually wished there was something I could do about this situation.
