KATHERINE The house has been quiet throughout this week. That wasn't new to me because I knew Rowan hated noise. But this time around, I didn't even hear the guards walking around. The only thing that could be heard most times was some horrible singing. I knew it was Evie's irritating voice coming from down the hall. My life has been peaceful.
