I finally headed out of Atticus room, on my way to my quarters. He had held me down during the weekend, insisted that I stayed so that I could make him sleep. And I had spent the whole day with him in my arms, while he slept like a peaceful little boy. I lips lifted up at the memory. Returning back to the kitchens was going to be dreadful. From the way things went down between me and that kitchen staff, things weren't so going to be delightful anymore.
