His Vengeful Hybrid Mate

chapter 3:Darkness

Sabrina’s pov

I couldn’t stop myself from smiling as I went home, it was already 1 am, so I knew that I had to sleep since I had to wake up early to clean up.

I walked all the way home alone, even now I could hear people dancing and talking.

I wonder if Bryan will find his mate among those she-wolves there or maybe she isn’t there.

“Too bad, it isn’t us right?” my wolf asked me, and I smiled, even though she wished that Bryan was our mate.

But you know what they say, if wishes were horses even the beggars would be riding, you can't always get what you wish for and that is okay.

As I got closer to home I picked up two scents that I didn’t recognise, “maybe it is just two stupid teenagers who sneaked off to make out.” my wolf said.

I got home and opened the door, the moment the door opened I got hit by a scent.

A mint like scent.

I looked up and found two scary looking man holding my mom and dad.

“Don’t even think about it.” one of them said as I was about to run.

“You dare run, then we will kill your mommy and daddy.” one of them said and I looked at my parents were handcuffed.

“Please let my parents go, you can take whatever you want, I will even give you the location of all the safes and also their passwords. Just let us go.” I said and one of them chuckled.

“You are very smart aren’t you hybrid?” one of them asked me and I looked at him surprised.

How did they know that I am a hybrid?

“You are wrong, there is no hybrid in this pack.” my mother said to them. She sounded so desperate, like she wanted them to believe that there is no hybrid in our pack. Only people in my pack know and no one else and that too a selected few know.

“Actually, we want something valuable, will you give it to us?” one of them asked me completely ignoring mother.

I nodded my head so fast that I was sure that it would fall off if I kept doing so.

“You see, our boss collects very rare items, and do you know what is on top of the list?” one of them asked and I shook my head.

“A hybrid.” one of them said, looking at me.

“Well, I must say they described you well, a chubby girl with black hair and blue eyes.” the other said with a smirk.

Ever since I stood there, I have been trying to mind link the pack, Bryan or Dylan or just anyone, but it wasn’t working at all.

“The mind link won't work, the scent you just inhaled when you came here, I mean the mint smell stops you from being able to mind link.” one of them said as if seeing my struggle.

I looked at my parents and I could see that my mother was begging me to run with her eyes, they both were but I couldn’t leave them alone.

“Please let my parents go, it is me you want, right? So let them go.” I said, and one of them laughed that evil laugh and it sent chills down my spine.

“So, you admit that you are the hybrid?” one of them asked me.

I looked at my mom and she shook her head. She didn’t want me to admit that I am the hybrid but knew that it was the only way to save them.

I didn’t care what happened to me, but my parents needed to make it out alive no matter what, so I went against my mother and nodded.

“Yes, I am the hybrid. You can take me but please let my parents go.” I said all they did was a smirk.

“We can’t do that, you see we need to get rid of all loose ends. They are your parents, so they will never stop looking for their precious daughter.” the bigger guy said.

I found tears flowing down my face, I was scared but I knew that I had to come up with a plan so my parents could leave this place alive.

I went down on my knees, “please let my parents go and I will come with you without a fight.” I said, and I could see my tears falling on the carpet.

They just looked at me and laughed, I looked at my parents who were crying as well and I felt this fear. This fear told me that something bad was going to happen.

“Any last words?” he asked, looking at my mom.

She nodded, “I love you Brina now run Brina, run!” she said, and I got up from the carpet and turned to the door.

Before I could even open it one of them grabbed me, I kicked and shouted, but it was pointless because everyone was at the celebration.

“Ugh, let us get this over and done with.” the bigger one said.

I watched as he took out a knife, I kicked and kicked but the one holding me wouldn’t let go.

“Mom! No! No! Mom!” I screamed until I felt my lungs were on fire.

“Shut up!” the one holding me said and slapped me.

I watched as they stabbed my mom first and I was helpless, all I could do was kick and scream as loud as I could, but I was just too weak. He then went and stabbed my dad, and my father looked at me and smiled.

“I love you Sabrina, tell you brother that I love him too. Never give up hope. Always be kind and loving.” he said.

The next thing I know they put a clothes on my nose and everything started getting hazy and dark.

Are they dead? Are my parents dead?

Was the last thought I had before everything turned dark.
