I quickly followed the Duke right after he left the room. He has a longer stride than me, so he was already meters away from me when I went outside. I walked briskly so I can keep up with his pace.
I wasn't prepared when he abruptly stopped walking, causing me to bumped into his back.
"You're too slow," he said when he turned his back and faced me.
I frowned in confusion, but he quickly grabbed my hand before he started walking again, even before I could process what he said, even before I could process what he said.
We went outside the House of Costa De Lucca. The maids can't help but stare at us with amusement as we walked in front of them while the Grand Duke holds my hand. I tried to yank my hand away from him, but he tightened his grip. I don't want to put any malice on it
