Larry who was the first to speak out said, “Comet, I am guessing that since you are the one who is most excited amongst all of us you do have a plan already forming at the back of your mind. Care to tell us what is that going to be?”

“Come on guys. You are no fun at all. Here we are going to take down a notorious con man and all you seem to care about is what is going to be the plan rather than the excitement that should be showing on your face is. My daddy and uncle Larry are not such miserable people at all.”

“We are not miserable. We are just very very careful about what you are going to do and what is our part going to be. And don’t forget, that today is the day that you have your session with Judith. She is going to be coming in and spending about three to four hours with you. The time that you have your therapy with her we can spend on research and formulating the plan if necessary.” This time Lester was the careful one. His face bored still a very grave expression and he was not finding this a nice experience at all.

“Are you trying to say that you don’t want to have even a little bit of fun with me?” Comet said with a pout.

“After the marathon that we had last night and then again today morning, don’t you think, baby girl, that you are behaving like an insatiable woman?” Larry asked with a smirk on his face.

But daddy is also correct we need to have a plan in place. So the first things first I need to have some amount of information before we begin to put the plan in place. “That is actually a very good point, Comet,” Larry agreed. ”And in order to do that we need to begin a research on him.”

“Actually I think that it would be a far easier and better way if I take in the reins of this research,” Lester offered.

“And how are you going to do that brother?” Larry asked him with his one brow raised.

“Are you actually forgetting the fact that I am the one he is trying to con? That I am the victim here? That if I go back to his place, or ask him out for dinner, or try and want to get to know him a little better, he will only think that I am falling in love with him which is going to serve his reasons and purposes better. In the meanwhile his house will be empty and we can bug it’s similarly in his absence just like Comet said he has done with our home. And once I begin questioning him or try to get to know him he is bound to give some or other true detail about his past life to me which will make things far easier for us to track down rather than go the normal way.”

“I just want to ask you daddy, is there something you feel for him?” Comet asked him as she inched closer to her step-father. Larry sighed softly as he saw what she was trying to do. She had broken all his defenses so easily and now she was staking back her claim again.

“After hearing everything even if I had talk of feeling for him all those have been crushed in such a pathetic manner that I am going to be very scared of thinking about someone else in this manner again,” Lester admitted.

“As bad as it sounds, things are going to get better daddy,” Comet said as she climbed up on his lap and then pulled him in for a kiss. “I am going to make things better for you,” she whispered against his lips and Lester kissed her back hungrily not even bothering to be soft or nice. He was angry and he needed an outlet to vent his anger and his frustration and right now Comet was giving him that opportunity without even judging him for what he had done.

“I have never felt more stupid in my entire life,” said Lester with his teeth gritted but Comet kissed him again and said,” Right now, we are only going to focus on how to make you feel better and that is all you need to think about.”

“Do I need to give you both some lone time?” asked Lester and Comet said,” Of course not, Uncle Larry. You are welcome to watch us always.”

“Do you think that I should tell Judith everything that happened with me last year?” Comet asked softly and Lester said,” That is absolutely your choice baby. If you think that you trust her enough with your story then go ahead for it.”
