Chapter 58

After the heart to heart conversation that Lester and Comet both had in the office of Baron Madison, sorry, the late Baron Madison who will be reported as missing in the next few days, they came back home in silence.

Comet went to her own room and started a bath. It was very clear from her attitude that she did not want to communicate with anyone right at the moment. Larry had come home a little while ago and while he had tried to engage Comet she had not spoken a single word to him and had gone upstairs. He looked at his brother a bit miffed by her strange behaviour and he nodded and said that he was going to discuss this later on.

Finally, when comment was out of earshot, Lester told him everything that had happened. Larry listened in silence and in shock. He had expected Comet to snap sometime now, but he had not expected her to snap in this way altogether. This was too much for even him to expect.

“Please tell me that this is a joke. How can you say that with a straight face? How can you tell me that our little girl who has been crying and breaking down and trying to make schemes and plots and seduce other men killed a man in cold blood. And that too slashed his throat. How is this not a joke?” Larry asked with his face completely in shock.

“You are only hearing half of it. You’re not the one who was present there. I watched her, I heard her. Have you any idea how she trapped that man? Have you any clue how she was so comfortable naked in front of a man who was trying to change her mind again and then she tortured him without a stitch of cloth on her skin. When I asked why she was nude? She told me that she wanted him to see the last woman naked before he went to hell. She made sure that he was properly motivated to answer. And this does not happen until you have the proper psychological training to not breakdown after you are torturing or interrogating someone. Do you even remember what we went through our way of what we underwent while our training was going on? Every single time that we were supposed to kill someone you threw up. That was the price that we had to pay while our training was ongoing. Today she told me that she wished for death every single time that she was tortured while she was present in that hellhole. She did not have any hope while they made sure that she remembered her place. She was treated worse than even animals are. Her PTSD has been growing worse day by day.”

“We should have focused on her more. We were too much caught up in our own world to even look at her. Even after she came back we thought that we were caring for her but I think that we were not doing a good job. How is it possible that therapy has not helped her?” Larry asked. Because he was genuinely curious about what was going on in Comet's mind.

“There is more to this story. I haven’t told you all the details yet. But tell me first what happened with Aaron?”

“He has been disposed off. It is not going to be a problem any longer.” Larry said that with a pleasant look on his face and it almost seemed like he had enjoyed killing this man.

“Did you kill him?” Comet asked from the doorway.

“ baby girl I thought that you were going to have a shower. We did not know that you were listening in on our conversation?”

“There is nothing wrong with listening in on a conversation after all,” Larry interjected and said to Comet,” did you come down to invite one of us to the shower? Or maybe 2 of us? I think it would be good for us to have some fun? After what you’ve done today you need to unwind a little bit and I think that getting pleasured from the two men who love you most in the world is the best way of unwinding.”

“I don’t think that I will be able to do anything at all right now. I know that you both consider me to be your little girl still now and it is true that I am young. But it is also true that I have seen a lot and I have enjoyed a lot. All the training that you have undergone and the men that you have killed it was a part of the job that you were doing. But for me it is personal you should be able to understand that when it becomes personal the vendetta is absolutely different,” said Comet as she came in the room and then sat down. She had washed off the blood from her hands but she kept on staring at her hands every other minute.

“I guessed that you would feel very deeply about it. But I did not know that it was this deep. Over that you wanted revenge till this extent. The reason why we both are concerned is absolutely different from why you are thinking. It is true that you are our little girl. And it is true that you have endured a lot and undergone a lot of torture. But that does not make use killed in order to kill someone. Today I was there with you. But the next time that you do something of this sort we might not be there with you. I know that we have always told you that we will always be there with you and we will keep on protecting you. But you have seen that despite our promises something different has happened. And the next time this happens I want you to be skilled in every single manner that you would need in order to kill someone. I am not saying that you would be first rated assassin in one single day. It does not happen that way but at least we can begin your training. If you want that to happen,” said Larry and Lester groaned and said,” Why do you want her to fall in trouble again? Why are you making her even more reckless than she already is?”

“It is not recklessness when I am trying to train her to do something that she actually wants in her life. We have been actually too blind to see what she wants. We have been trying to do things that we want her to and we are looking for ways to keep her safe. However that is not what she wants. She wants to have her revenge on all the people that have been in the process of torturing her and I think that she needs to be an integral part of taking them down. What is wrong in that?” asked Larry and Lester had actually no good reason to go against it.

“Are you sure that you want to do this Comet?” Larry asked her and she looked at him and said,” Sure? I am not sure about anything any longer but I know this for a fact that I want them to be taken down.”

“Then that is what is going to happen. We will take them down and you will be with us every step of the way. And yes, I killed Aaron. And I have all the materials that we would need to contact and to go ahead,” said Larry and Comet nodded and said,” I think that I will take that bath now. I almost feel that insects are crawling on my skin.”

Both the brothers shared a look but they did not say anything at all.
