I open my eyes to a place that looked unfamiliar, smelled unfamiliar, and felt unfamiliar. I wonder where in the world I am. I stand up and observe the place and it's a hospital. But no one was in the ward I was in. I call out saying,' anyone there?' A middle-aged woman enters and calls my name with tears in her voice. She hugs me but I don't hug her back because I couldn't recognize her. She kisses my forehead and trying not to be rude, I ask her politely whether we were related. She looked rather confused and left my arms. 'Doctor, doctor. Something's wrong.' She said. The doctor walks into the room and she tells her that I couldn't recognize her. The doctor says, 'Ariella, you don't recognize your aunt Ashley?' I nod my head and ask, ' where are my parents?' Aunt Ashley's face turns sour. I needed water and a middle-aged man brings water for me. I drink the water as he stares at me. Aunt Ashley asks him why he came in. He says he is a detective but after series of arguments with Ashley ma'am, he leaves. The doctor looks at me and says that amnesia is rare in this situation. She tells me to lie on the bed and she injects a drug into me that made me sleep immediately. After a few days, I'm discharged though I can't still recognize even the city I'm in. Aunt Ashley tells me that I'll be fine and she takes me home. I get home and see a photo frame and me and two people who I believed were my parents. I then asked, 'they're my parents right?' Aunt Ashley nods her head and I further ask, 'where are they?' Just then, two people enter the sitting room and the girl hugs me tight. I smile as the embrace felt familiar. Aunt Ashley says, 'Glenn, Nadia, she needs rest.' Nadia says, 'Hey Ariella, I'm so sorry that I couldn't see you in the hospital.' Glenn hits her hand and she says, 'we are so sorry.' I smile at them especially Glenn who just had a feminine beauty. He was hot. I wonder whether I always felt like this. They leave. Aunt Ashley takes me to my room and introduces me to a cat, a black cat. The cat looked very familiar. 'Is it Arnold?'I ask. Aunt looks at me awestruck. 'Yes, it's the name.' She leaves with the cat and tells me to have some rest. I have some sleep and I wake up and have a bath. I come out in underwear and see Glenn in my room. He looks at me as if scanning my body. 'Hey, how did you enter my room and close your eyes and give me privacy.'I say. 'Oh, I'm sorry.' 'Do you always do this?'I ask. 'Do what? Look at you in your underwear or enter your room through the window?'He says. 'Well, both!' I reply. He laughs and I happen to smile as well. He turns again getting a glimpse of my body. 'Oh sorry, got carried away laughing.'He said and turns back. I open my wardrobe and see some simple clothes and I get the hot ones. I ask him what he's doing here and he says that Nadia is waiting for us at the Blackwood cafe. I then realize that we are in Blackwood. Aunt Ashley enters the room and sees Glenn. She frowns and reprimands him for not using the front door. She permits us to go. When we go to the cafe, I ask Nadia which kind of person I was. She leaves the table to the bathroom not answering my question. I look at Glenn and ask him whether I had an overbearing character. He is quiet. 'Come on, just tell me.' I say. He says that I had a boastful attitude but I was lovable for my good traits. I smile and Nadia comes back. Ava, a girl who looked our age falls because of my chair and makes a fuss about it. I apologize and a guy, James, her boyfriend arrives. Glenn supports me and says that Ava is an annoying person. Nadia keeps quiet and Glenn says that Ava's family ruined her family. Nadia's eyes turn red and teary. I just keep quiet not to trigger the issue. Glenn, Nadia, and I gist and they tell me funny things about myself. I get back home and lie on my bed. Something shocking happens when my cat tells me to recover soon and I am like, you can talk?
