A visit to the Silver Tower.

'But that doesn't make any sense? You said that he died in a car accident so how was he murdered. Oh God, this is becoming confusing. And if it was a planned conspiracy, why was my life spared?' I rhetorically asked.

'And actually, that's why someone might've tried to get rid of you in the Silver Tower. ' Glenn said.

Nadia added, ' this is all too weird now.'

And actually, everything is weird. I don't understand anything. Glenn said that we should go to Silver Tower and maybe we'll figure out something.

Nadia said, ' No way, I don't think it's a good idea. What can we probably find there?'

Glenn said, ' No Nadia, we can figure out something there. And you know, my cousin, Eugene, happens to work at the Silver Tower. So he may be able to give us a hand? I'll text him.'

Nadia's facial expression clearly says no. But I am in full support of Glenn's idea because we had to fix the puzzle. Glenn's cousin, Eugene, was on night duty tonight and he agreed for us to come there today.

' C'mon Nadia. Can't you just do it for Ariella? Please? If you can't do it, just don't come along then.' Glenn said.

'No, no. That's not it. I want to help Ariella Glenn but... Okay, fine. I'll come along.' Nadia says.

We leave the cemetery and go back to school. After school that day, I reach home and see Aunt Ashley all dressed up, and honestly, she looks beautiful.

' Going out? On a date or something? You look pretty.'

' Yeah, I'm going out on a date. I'm using this hookup app so I have to meet someone today. Any problem? If you want, I'll stay? I can reschedule cause you're my first precedence.' Aunt says.

' No, no problem. But I have a question aunt.'

' Yes dear go ahead.' Aunt permitted.

I wanted to be sure how my parents died so I went ahead and asked, ' how did my parents die?'

'In a car crash sweetie. And after that, you came to live with us. Aww, how do I leave you here now? You'll be sad right?'

'No, no. It's okay. You have to move on from Charles, I mean Det. Rogovski. Bye!' I said after she finally agrees to leave.

She leaves for her date and honestly, this makes it easier to leave for Silver Tower.

'Recover first Ariella! The city needs you. Regain your memories fully.' I hear a voice. My heart skips a beat and I look down and see Arnold, the cat. I thought it was all a dream. 'You are under the spell, Ariella. ' The cat adds. ' Which city needs me?' I ask curiously.

'Of course this city. The city of Blackwood needs you. Don't ask any questions because that's all I can tell you. You'll have to put the pieces together. Instead of asking questions, try finding out which type of party you went for on the day you went missing.' The cat says and moves away.

Arnold is right. Which type of party was I attending that night. I leave home and meet up with Glenn and Nadia at the silver tower. Glenn gives up his Level 43 freak night account for access to the sixteenth floor of the Silver Tower. This touched me as to the length Glenn could go to help me. We used the elevator and arrived at the sixteenth floor of the Silver Tower. I see a sigil which Det. Rogovski had shown me. It was blue and looked magical. Eugene says that he was the one that found me, but he does not know that I'm the one he had found. He says he had seen something crazy that night but we won't believe him. After series of pleading, he gives in to tell us what he saw.

'That night, I saw a woman who looked dead. She was floating but she was dead. Her hair was scattered and she started coming close to me still floating. I knew I could not do anything so I just closed my eyes and when I woke up, she was on the floor. I don't know whether she was dead or alive but I immediately called the cops and they carry on from there. I could not let that nasty experience affect my job so I stayed quiet.' Eugene narrated.

' Hilarious! So like you saw a ghost?' Nadia rhetorically asked.

Eugene looks at me and says, 'was it not you? That I found?'

I nod my head and he then asks whether I have amnesia. Glenn and Nadia give him a briefing. I see the blue sign again and I recollect something but suddenly I hear, ' um enim ad minim veniam in reprehenderit in voluptale velit.' After hearing a voice say that, it seems as if there's a blackout in my brain and I faint. I wake up and my friends ask me what happened and I told them how I heard strange voices as if someone is trying to stop me from regaining my memory. Just then, someone texts me.

It's Jeremy. The message reads, ' Hi Ariella, it's Jeremy. Not trying to be creepy but I realized that I had your number from a group project we did a long time back. Are you free? Maybe we could get to hang out, a bad excuse for a date though. Haha. I could come and pick you anywhere you are.'

'Guys, are we done here?' I ask

' Yeah, I guess. This is enough mystery for one day. Got plans?' Glenn asks.

' Nope!' I reply. I tell Jeremy that I'm kinda busy right now and maybe some other time. He's cool with it and we all go home.

I sit on my bed and wonder when I'll understand what's going on.
