Chapter 9 rogue

Jordan's P.O.V 

  As the day ended and the night came, Violet and I were laying in our bed and watching TV. We were both so comfy that neither of us wanted to move, that was until a guard mind-linked us. 

  "Alpha, Luna. We have found a rogue on the territory and we are bringing him to the pack house." One of the guards said through the mind-link to both of us. We both jumped out of bed and rushed downstairs to meet the guard and the rogue at the front door. The rogue was bent down on his knees, submitting to us. He had cuts and bruises all over him and he looked like he was nearly beaten to death.

  "Did you do this?" I said, looking at the guard called Black.

  "No, I found him this way." Black quickly said, shaking his head.

  "Please, I beg you to let me join your pack, I don't want to be a rogue any longer. There's too many dangers out in the woods, I've only been a rogue for a few days and I thought I could make it on my own, but I just can't." The rogue begged us, standing up from his knees.

  "What made you leave your pack?" I asked, sternly.

  "I didn't like the rules so I left, I thought I could do without the rules, but I decided to go by the rules, rather than to live out there in the woods." The rogue sighed, his shoulders dropping in defeat as he did so.

  "It seems you have learnt your lesson. I'll show you to a room, so you can shower and rest. We will see what we will do with you tomorrow." I said, shaking my head, he nodded and followed me towards a spare room. I opened the door to the room, 

  "There might be some clothes in the closet, so shower, get dressed and then rest. We will talk tomorrow." I said, walking back to the door, when I stopped and turned back around.

  "What is your name?" I asked him.

  "My name is Rick." He said and we both nodded to each other.

  "Good night Rick." I said, as I shut the door behind me. I walked back to Violet, who was standing in the hallway, we walked back to our room and then began to talk.

  "Do you think he's wanting a pack or do you think he's with Tally?" Violet asked me, I just shrugged.

  "Not sure yet, but he's playing a good game if he's with her. She probably sent him here to keep an eye on us and tell her about us. We'll just play along, it's funny how things work out." I said and we both chuckled and got back into bed.

  Rick's P.O.V

  I was in the shower, washing all the dirt off of me and letting the warm water cascade down my body. It was so relaxing and warm, that I didn't want to get out, when suddenly Tally linked me

  "Did they bite into the story you gave them?" Tally said, through the mind-link. 

  "Yeah they sure did, I'm getting a hot shower as we speak, then laying in a comfortable bed." I replied, smiling to myself, as I washed my hair.

  "Good, I'll be there in a few days to take my crown." Tally said, her voice was starting to ruin my shower.

  "You will like these hot showers." I replied, trying to make her go away, so I could continue enjoying myself.

  "Shut up." Tally snapped and cut the mind-link off. As the night went on, I thought about the deal that I had with Tally and whether it was really worth it. I could get killed and that's definitely not worth it, I will just have to take that chance and tell Jordon everything in the morning. At least then they will be able to make a decision, after all I am a lone rogue and I kept to myself, but I was tired of being hungry and cold, I was tired of hiding from Hunter, I was ready to be part of a pack again.
