The Alphas Mate

Chapter three the first shift

Violet's P.O.V 

  I had my eyes closed for the longest time, when I felt a soft hand on my back, but it felt weird and somehow different. I opened my eyes and looked down, to see paws instead of hands and my eyesight was so much clearer, I could see the crowd surrounding us and how they all kept staring at me. I looked to my side and saw Jordan kneeling next to me, smiling at me.

  "Violet, go and look at yourself, you're beautiful." Jordan whispered to me. I felt so confused and weird, especially when I stood up on all fours and walked over to a window, as there weren't any mirrors around. I looked at my reflection and saw a huge white wolf staring back at me, the only part of her that was black was the tip of her tail and her eyes were the colour of pure silver. I turned looking at everyone and then at Jordon, his smile was from ear to ear. He took off his shirt and jacket and I nodded, knowing that I had to shift back, I couldn't just stay like this. Jordon stood in front of me holding his jacket up, so that no one could see me, but when I shifted back, I shifted back with my dress still intact and my hair was a little out of place, but nothing was torn. I stood up taking his jacket, putting it on and inhaling his scent that was on it. He came closer and held me to his chest, inhaling my scent as well. 

  "Both of our parents know that we are mates and I have arranged to have your things moved to my room." Jordan whispered in my ear, sending shivers down my spine. All I could do was nod, Jordan then turned around and faced the crowd.

  "Please everyone enjoy the rest of the night we are going home." Jordan announced and turned back to me smiling. I tossed Kate the keys to my car, but she tossed them straight back to me. I looked at her confused and that's when she mouthed 'I found my mate' to me. I was so happy, I walked over to her and hugged my best friend.

  "Be safe and have fun." I whispered to Kate and then turned and left with Jordan. When we arrived at Jordan's home, he showed me to his room and I looked around in awe at the huge room. There was a king size bed in the middle, a huge flat screen TV on the wall, two dressers and a walk-in closet. I walked around and saw another door, so I opened it and was shocked. I had never seen a bathroom that was so big, the shower alone looked like it could fit ten people inside it and there was a tub that you just wanted to relax in,  the toilet was nice and clean and there were his and hers sinks, which had my toothbrush, hairbrush, body wash and a few other items all neatly laid out. I walked back into the bedroom to see Jordan standing there, smiling at me.

  "Your things are already hung up and put away, but I'm going to take you shopping in a few days, so you can get a new phone and a few other things." Jordan said, gesturing to my side of the walk-in closet and dresser. I nodded and walked over to the dresser, pulling out a pair of night shorts and a shirt. I was so nervous, that I went into the bathroom to change and when I came back out, Jordon only had his boxers on. I looked away blushing and climbed into bed. I noticed that there were several windows with nice purple curtains up. Jordan pulled them close and climbed  into bed next to me, he turned holding me close and sighed.

  "I have to admit something to you." Jordan nervously said, I looked at him and raised my eyebrow, he chuckled, but started to talk. 

  "That day in school, I stood there waiting for you, so you would bump into me, I already knew you were my mate. I wanted to take you in my arms that day, but you didn't make a move or even try to smell my scent. So I only smirked and pretended to sniff the air, it was pretty weird that day, because people looked at me funny." Jordan confessed, causing me to laugh.

  "Poor baby. You think that's bad, Kate and Lisa somehow knew we were mates and I didn't believe them, until now." I giggled, playfully teasing him. We both sighed and I looked at Jordan 

  "Did you tell Hope that day?" I asked, slightly worried about his answer. He nodded.

  "Yes I did, but she wasn't even upset, she found her mate the day before. We were only together just to pass the time, until we found our mates. The only thing we did was a little kissing, we were just tired of being alone and so we hung out together." Jordan replied, I'm glad that nothing more happened between them. 

  "I understand, I honestly thought you wouldn't want me as a mate, but boy did I guess wrong. So what do we do now? your Alpha now, so you're going to be really busy." I said, smiling at him.

  "Yes I am, but you're going to be as well, we're going to have a Luna ceremony for you next week and then you'll have Luna meetings. We will both be busy, but busy together. You think I'm going to let you out of my sight now?" Jordan said, explaining a little bit about what would happen next, but all I could do was laugh at his last comment. 

  "Is the right answer no?" I laughed and he just nodded his head. 

  "Come on, it's been a long night, let's get some sleep and then tomorrow I'll take you somewhere, a place I have wanted to take you since I knew you was my mate." Jordan said, fighting back a yawn. 

  "I am pretty tired, alright let's get some sleep." I replied, I softly kissed him and lay down on my right side, Jordan lay beside me, holding me close to his chest. 

  "Now that I found you, now that I have you, I'm never letting go." Jordan softly whispered in my ear. He laid his head on the pillow next to mine and we both slowly drifted off to sleep.

  Unknown P.O.V 

  "How could she just go in and steal him right from underneath me? I almost had him Kyle." I snarled.

Kyle: I don't know what to tell you, I said you weren't his mate, but you didn't listen." Kyle said, defensively.

  "SHUT UP! Just give me a week and I'll be the new Luna even if I have to go to a witch." I snapped at him.

  "Are you crazy?! A witch, those people can be dangerous." Kyle said, slightly raising his voice.

  "I don't care, he belongs to me and I'll have him one way or another." I growled, looking up at the window where his room is. 

  "It should be me sleeping beside him, not her." I said, gritting my teeth.

  "Listen we need to go before someone sees us." Kyle said, tugging at my arm.

  "Fine let's get out of here." I replied, skulking back into the shadows
