Breaking My Mate Chapter 9

Kevin looked down at me with angry eyes. I became nervous he wouldn't hit me… Would he?

“K-Kevin I-I’m sorry I didn't mean to.”

He grabbed me by the arm and dragged me to the car. He threw me into the back seat and got in after me. He was quiet and that scared me. I'd rather have him yelling at me, I'd at least know what he was thinking. He scooted to middle and threw me over his lap still not saying a word.

“K-Kevin w-what are you doing?”

“Shut up!” He growled. He threw me over his lap and pulled my tights and underwear down. Before I could say anything his hand came down on my ass… Hard. I screamed and started to struggle.

“You can count or you can shut up and I'll double them. Your choice.”

“Kevin stop! I'm not a child.” He hit me again and I cried out.

“I guess you want double.” After twenty hits he pulled my underwear and tights back up. he opened the door and got out while I cried. I was laying on my stomach still crying, my ass was on fire. He got back into the driver's seat and looked back at me.

“The next time you even attempt to raise your hand at me I'll break your pretty little fingers. Do you understand?” I nodded my head.

“I can't hear you.”

“Y-Yes!”

He turned back around and started the car up. I don't know how long I cried but when I woke up we were at a gas station. Kevin was pumping the gas. I removed the blanket and sat up. I winced in pain and opened the door. I got out and stretched looking around. There were tall buildings and people running around everywhere. This little town was busy. I wasn't going to get back in the car with him, he's nuts. Just further confirms my point that alphas and betas are crazy and controlling.

I looked towards the store and saw a bus unloading. When he wasn't looking I ran towards the store with the crowd. I heard someone calling my name but I didn't turn around. I had to get away from him he's just as bad as Jason. I got to the woods and got undressed.

Please wolf just this one time help me. I closed my eyes and concentrated. I took deep long breaths. I kept thinking about myself in wolf form. I had to do this, I needed to do this. After struggling for minutes I felt tingles and when I opened my eyes I was on four legs. If I could dance as a wolf I would.

She didn't say anything else after that. I didn't know where I was going but I knew that I had to get away. I stopped by a stream and got a sip of water. I was tired but I wasn't going to stop. I love my mom but I didn't want to end up like her. She's an amazing woman but she walks around nervous everyday all day because she's afraid of disappointing or making my dad mad.

We need to go! There are rogues near, run NOW!

I trusted my wolf, she obviously knew more than me. I took off running as fast as I could. It was difficult because I wasn't used to running on four legs. Out of nowhere I was tackled and flew into a tree. I'm weak, even in my wolf form. If I make it out of this alive I promise I will train everyday until I pass out.

I heard a growl and opened my eyes, I wish I hadn't. I was surrounded by four angry wolves. Their fur was matted and dirty but their eyes scared me the most. They all looked so evil. The one who tackled me shifted into human form. He was tall and angry looking. He told me to shift but I didn't. I wasn't going to be naked in front of four men. He grabbed me by neck and lifted me up. I was still in wolf form so this guy had to be strong.

“I won't repeat myself again.”

He dropped me and backed up still looking down at me. I had no choice, if I didn't shift he would probably kill me. I shifted back and covered myself up as best as I could. The other wolves shifted and stared at me.

“Now why are you in this area? Everyone knows that this is our territory.”

“I-I didn't know any other wolves were around I swear.”

“Let's just kill her.”

“Let's have a little fun with her first.”

“No. I have a better idea.” He smiled. “Look at her mark.” He moved my hair and turned my neck. One of his friends laughed.

“This is our lucky day! So what's the plan boss?”

“We're going to use her to get that money we've been needing to get out of the area.”

“Misty!” I heard a growl in my head. I jumped and looked around.

I'm going to kill you! I turn my back for second and you run away. You have my mark there's no way that you can get away from me. I felt a sting on my cheek and gasped.

“No mind linking your mate. Grab her we need to get out of he-”

He didn't finish his sentence. His eyes went wide and blood started pouring from his mouth. He fell to the ground and stopped breathing. I heard another growl and looked up. Kevin had one of the other wolves by his neck. The guy looked terrified. I would have been too because right now I was more afraid of mate than the rogue wolves.

He slammed him into a tree. I wanted to look away but I couldn't. It was the most horrifying thing I've ever seen. Kevin managed to slam him against a branch. It looked like his whole chest was missing. I closed my eyes not wanting to see more. The growls and screams stopped but I still didn't open my eyes. I probably looked like a mental patient standing there naked crying and shaking. I felt a warm hand on my shoulder and jumped. I knew it was Kevin. I could smell his scent mixed with blood.

“You shouldn't have ran Misty, don't worry I won't punish you too bad.” He picked me up and carried me to the edge of the woods where he put on some shorts and threw me a shirt.

“Get in the car Misty.”

I didn't want to get spanked again so I got in not saying a word.
