"Mom... Dad... where are you..." I sobbed, my voice echoing throughout the once again burning house.
Those people never stopped hunting us, and we didn't stop from running away.
Until to the point where I lost my parents in amidst of this flames, they disappeared right before my eyes. Watching them being dragged away by those cruel people through the small gap inside the closet is what I did a while ago.
And right now I'm wondering around, not knowing what to do...
*Fwish!*
A swoosh sound was heard behind, so I spun around to see a black shadow hovering in front of me. Those red eyes of his made me calm and my tears stopped, because I know that this shadow belongs to my mother.
"Mr shadow... where is my mom?" I asked, wiping away my tears so that mom won't see me crying. Because she can see through this shadows eyes as if she's watching me through it.
The shadow didn't speak, he just lifted his hand for me to hold it so he can safely drag me out of this house.
I lifted my hand and rested it on his.
Before I knew it, we were already outside the house, far from it actually.
"Where's mom and dad?" I asked once again, and the shadow pointed its other hand towards the direction where my parents were standing.
I saw my mom and dad, standing still and was looking at me, smiling thinly.
Immediately, I ran towards them and tackled them with a hug.
"I'm glad your safe." Dad said, stroking my hair in a gentle motion.
"Now let's go away from here..." Mom suddenly pulled my hand, roughly dragging me away while Dad is following behind us.
But I suddenly stopped, yanked my hand away from my mom's grip and cried...
They were strange, very strange. Their behaviour changed all of a sudden that made me realize something.
"Mom... Dad..." I lifted my head, staring at the both of them while wiping my eyes. "Where's my real mommy... where is my real daddy?" I sobbed, my knees dropped on the floor.
"What are you talking about? We are your real parents" Mom said, crouching besides me.
"No! You're not. You're just a shadow made to imitate my parents, I know that my real mom sent you here.." I sobbed and sobbed, choking the words I was saying.
"What happened to my mom and dad?! Where are they?" I asked, and the two of them looked painfully hurt at the sight of me being like this.
They placed their hands on my shoulder as if to comfort me and said the words that stabbed my heart a thousand times.
"I'm sorry... your mom and dad are---"

Yerin's POV
The buzzing sound of my alarm clock awoke me from my indefinite dream.
The dirty white ceiling was the first thing I saw, before drifting my gaze to the open window besides me.
From the sight of the sunlight, I already knew that it's already noon so I roughly sat up from my bed and stared even more at the empty wall.
"Ahh. I remembered... it was that dream again." I mumbled, closing my eyes and recalling the scenes that happened yesterday.
Wendy...
That's right... she's dead.
And I was ordered not to say a word to anyone if I don't want my identity to be exposed.
That night, Jomin and her gang hid Wendy's body in the storage room specifically in the freezer room for raw meat but there's nothing in there and its literally deserted, plus no one ever visits that room so it's a good hiding place for dead bodies.
I brushed those thoughts aside and stood up from my bed, walking towards the bathroom.
After I finished my morning routine I immediately exited my room and head straight to the dorm's own dining room.
It's Saturday so there's no classes, I originally planned to go somewhere but I think that plan won't be happening since those sea urchins are walking towards me fumingly, their high heels clicking in the floor loudly means that they're angry.
"What?" I asked in an intimidating tone, and they scoffed at me.
"Dont what us, you be a good girl and follow us now." Jomin said before turning around walking back, it was obvious that she was very angry.
I followed the three of them and turns out they led me back in the storage room.
"Why are we here?" I asked in a tired tone, I didnt get enough sleep last night from what happened so there's literally black circles around my eyes.
"Open the door for us." She ordered as if I'm just summoned here to be ordered around.
I grunted before opening the metal door, the freezing breeze immediately enveloped our body as if we're at the north pole at the moment
"Okay Go inside" Jomin ordered once again.
"Why would I? I don't want to see Wendy's body anymore." I replied roughly, but they just pushed me inside the room.
"Okay... do you see any dead body inside? Nothing, so go ahead and explain this." Hana said, the three of them standing at the doorway.
"What are you guys talking abou---" I immediately stopped my sentence as soon as I realised that the room was empty.
Wendy isn't here anymore, her body disappeared.
"This only means one thing..." Jomin crossed her arms, smiling to herself.
"She's still alive" She exclaimed. "That means I didn't kill anyone, I'm 100% innocent."
"Oh shut up you dumb blonde" I snapped. "You smashed her skull on a freaking wood how can she be alive? That only means someone took her body." I stated the obvious. "Who found first that her body is gone?"
I asked and they looked at each other and then Mina raised her hand.
"I did." She said in a bored tone.
"So why are you in the storage room in the first place? What are you trying to do?" I asked, squinting my eyes at her.
"I wasn't actually going to go here, but I noticed that the door was wide open so I checked it out to see it empty." She replied.
"Hmm... so if none of us took her body... Who did?" I asked, putting my hand over my chin.
"Umm excuse me but I don't have the time to cosplay Sherlock Holmes right now. If you want, you can go waste your time and investigate" Jomin snapped her hands in front of me before turning around and walked away.
The other two eventually followed them also walking in a sassy manner, like what the hell can they not walk properly?
"Oh one more thing, newbie." Jomin halted and said "If none of us took her body, it must be someone that knows about her death. It seems like someone saw us dragging her here." She smiled, as if to say that that was her contribution to my investigation.
"Wow you're a great help I didn't realized that." I said, my words filled with sarcasm before turning back and exploring the whole room.
It was empty anyway, not a single furniture or anything so it's easy to see any unusual objects.
But with no luck, I saw nothing to help solve why her body is missing.
But why am I panicking over this fact, I should be glad that someone found her body and report it. Maybe tomorrow the police will come and arrest those three once and for all for murdering Wendy.
"Yeah, that's not a bad idea. I should leave now." I exhaled, turning around and stopping once again.
"But what i***t would want to take a dead body from here? Couldn't they just call the cops and then let the body be?" I muttered to myself, realizing something wrong with this situation I immediately had goosebumps everywhere.
"No normal person would take a dead body... someone crazy enough to fetish over Wendy is the culprit here." I stated, glancing at the empty floor behind me.
This room can only be open from the outside so I'm 100% sure that Wendy isn't alive and opened the door for herself.
While thinking those possible thoughts, I looked at the door hanging open in front of me.
What I saw was beyond my expectations that made me fall on my knees.
The door had scratches on it, and it was bended from the inside, almost as if Wendy was trying to open the door with her foot or whatever she used to open the door. It seems like she kicked the door several times before she got it to open and left.
"She's... She's alive?" I asked myself, not blinking and kept staring at the door.
But how is that possible? She's dead...
I heard her skull crack, and her pulse was gone. I'm sure of it... But how?
"Ms Choi? Why are you here?" I heard 's Minji's voice near me.
I lifted my head and saw her standing at the doorway before crouching down to match my height.
"Hmm? Is there any problem? Why do you look like you just saw a ghost" She joked and giggled at herself, but realized that I wasn't showing any expression she stopped and lifted me up from the floor.
"I guess it's personal, am I right? Don't worry, everything's gonna be fine as long as I'm your homeroom teacher" She said with a thumbs up, trying to lift my mood but my mind is filled with confusions right now that I wasn't even hearing what Ms Minji is saying.
Her mouth was just opening in a distinct motion, and I was not hearing anything except for the loud high pitched tone as if I'm losing my sense of hearing.
The surroundings around me were twirling and beginning to blur, I was being sucked away from the real world is what I felt.
"Ms Choi!" She clapped her hands in front of me, finally snapping me from my trance "I said how are you feeling? You looked pale."
"Uh. I'm... fine..." I replied, walking away. Leaving her behind although she kindly helped me regain my own self. But I want to be alone right now and I'm sure Ms Minji isn't gonna help in this situation I'm in since she's oblivious about the fact that one of her students is already dead... or not dead... Ugh! I don't know anymore.
I should tell this to Jomin and to those two other side characters.

"Hmm... looks like she realized." She smiled as she watch Yerin walk away from a distance.
"You should enjoy your normal life as much as possible" She stated, lifting her head and staring at the sky.
"Because soon... your life won't be the same anymore"
