Erwin took Ayesha to a fancy restaurant that was quite famous in the city. The place was elegant, with soft lighting and a serene atmosphere. Even before they arrived, Erwin had already reserved a table and made sure they got a hard-to-find seat. Ayesha was surprised and very pleased with her husband’s attention.
“Erwin, you really arranged all this? I’m very impressed,” Ayesha said with a big smile.
Erwin nodded proudly. “Of course. I know this place is a favorite of many people, so I wanted to make sure we got the best. You deserve it.”
The waiter came over and handed them menus. They both ordered steaks with matching sides and as they waited for their food, Erwin stared at Ayesha intently.
“So, how’s work been lately?” Erwin asked, his tone full of curiosity.
