Erwin sat on the edge of the bed, staring blankly at the floor as Ayesha slowly approached.

"I want you to give me something," she whispered softly. Her hand reached for Erwin's arm, feeling the rough, dry skin that was once soft and warm against her side.

Erwin turned his head with a blank stare, but there was a small glint in his eyes as if there was a part of him that still recognized Ayesha. He touched her cheek, wiping away the tears that had accidentally fallen.

"I know you might not understand, but this is the last time. I just want a memory. The only thing I can remember from us."

Chapter 1
"Today," Ayesha said softly, staring at the ceiling of the small room they shared, "we will do it." Erwin just stared at her, blankly, as if he had no idea what she was talking about. His face was dirty, his hair tangled, and his gaze dull. Even so, Ayesha approached. Her body trembled not from fear, but from a mixture of emotions that had built up over the years. Three years had passed since their wedding night, the night that should have been the beginning of their happy life together. However, that night, Erwin disappeared without a trace. Ayesha's family panicked and were angry. Ashamed of the situation, they began to pressure Ayesha, seizing her belongings and even forcing her to end a marriage that had not even begun. But Ayesha did not give up. She searched everywhere for Erwin, and when she finally found him, she barely recognized the man she had once fallen in love with. Erwin had become a shadow of his former self—a beggar on the streets, who no longer spoke, no longer remembered. Her family laughed at her attempts to stay by Erwin's side. They considered her a disgrace, a burden that had to be removed. But Ayesha didn't care about all that. For her, their love was greater than just a family insult. She wanted something real as a last memento before everything was over. She wanted a child with Erwin, even though their circumstances were far from perfect. The only thing I can remember from us." In her mind, Ayesha knew how desperate she was. She wanted something real to remember before her family finally forced her to give in. But before Ayesha could say more, a loud ringing broke the silence. Her phone vibrated on the small table beside her bed. Ayesha closed her eyes for a moment, hoping to ignore it, but the ringing became more insistent. With a heavy sigh, she reached for it. "Ayesha! Where are you?" Her mother's voice was sharp and angry on the other end. "Your grandfather is waiting, his birthday party is about to start! When are you coming home? Everyone is wondering where you are!" Ayesha bit her lip, looking at Erwin who was still standing in front of her, unresponsive. "I'll be home soon," she replied weakly. "Soon!" her mother demanded, and the phone went dead. Ayesha sat on the edge of the bed, staring at the floor with mixed emotions. She didn't want to leave Erwin, but the pressure from her family was too strong to ignore. "I have to go," she said softly, more to herself than to Erwin. She stood, took a deep breath, and bent down to kiss the forehead of her husband, whom she had always loved. "I'll be back," she promised, though she wasn't sure when or how. Erwin was still staring blankly, but when Ayesha stepped towards the door, something was different. Suddenly, Erwin's eyes began to brighten, his lips moving as if he wanted to say something. He looked at Ayesha with a gaze that was no longer blank. There was a consciousness that slowly returned. "Ayesha..." he whispered in a hoarse voice, almost inaudible. Ayesha stopped in the doorway, her heart beating fast. She turned around, seeing Erwin's eyes staring at her with an intensity that had long been lost. The hope that had been lost was burning again in her heart. But before she could say anything, the door behind her opened, her mother standing there with an angry expression. "What are you doing here? Hurry, we have to go now." Ayesha could only lower her head, holding back the tears that threatened to come out. She glanced at Erwin once more, hoping that consciousness would still be there when she returned. Erwin sat in the corner of the room, staring blankly at the wall, his body feeling stiff after living without full consciousness for so long. However, slowly, his mind began to work again, mapping out the pieces of his fragmented past. He remembered it clearly now. 18 years old. The son of a powerful noble family, with so much influence and power. His noble life seemed perfect, but hatred and jealousy poisoned the blood of his own family. His cousin, who had always been jealous of his power and position, framed him. He was accused of treason that he never committed. At that time, his family, who should have defended him, chose to banish him, dropping him from his honorable status. On his wedding day with Ayesha, the only light in his darkness, Erwin was forced by his family to replace his cousin in a great battle on the battlefield. There was no chance for Erwin to refuse. He had to leave Ayesha on their wedding night, without giving an explanation, without a promise to return. Three years passed in endless battles. Erwin fought with courage and wisdom, rising quickly in the military ranks and eventually becoming the supreme commander. However, that victory did not last long. Poison. Poisoned by his own cousin. His body was weak, his mind was disturbed, and he slowly lost himself. Erwin, who was once full of strength and pride, fell into the abyss of stupidity, becoming nothing more than a beggar that no one wanted. Until the day Ayesha found him on the streets, not recognizing him as her husband. But with such great loyalty, she took him into her home, taking care of him even though their circumstances were getting worse. Ayesha stayed by his side, even though her family had sued for divorce, confiscated their belongings, and humiliated them continuously. Erwin groaned softly, feeling a strange heat surge through his body. Something had changed inside him. Ayesha. Her gentle touch, her voice full of hope and pain, all of it brought back memories that had almost been completely lost. As his body reacted to Ayesha's presence, so did his mind. Flashes of events began to connect. The old pride he had felt as a commander, as a noble, began to return. And with it, anger. Anger towards his family that had destroyed him, towards his scheming cousin, and towards everyone who had deceived him. Erwin clenched his fists, feeling the old strength flowing back into his body. He was no longer a poor beggar. He was Erwin, a former invincible warlord. Now that his mind had recovered, his revenge would begin. Erwin reached for the cell phone lying beside the table. His fingers, which were once accustomed to holding a sword, now deftly pressed the encrypted number that he had once memorized so well. This number was known only to those closest and most trusted in his military circle, people who had sworn allegiance to him before his life fell apart. The dial tone rang long, and Erwin waited patiently. Finally, the call was answered. A deep voice spoke in a firm tone. "Who is this?" Erwin took a deep breath, his voice low. "It's me."
