But you don’t seem excited?”  Jacinta asked her friend who was quiet the whole time “I don’t know if it’s worth it! I don’t think I can wait for years trying to do a course, I don’t think it’s worth it anymore” She said to Jacinta who gasp her mouth wide open “Are you going to let go of your dream because of what a man said to you? Am sorry but you are being stupid,” Jacinta said to her friend who was sipping from her whiskey “Jacinta you don’t understand It’s not just about Rowan!”  Ximena said to her friend who was looking at her in shock “Then help me understand! What happened to the girl who wanted the best for herself? The girl who was looking forward to being the woman in a white coat helping saving lives?”  She asked her friend trying to understand her reasons “I slept with a man I don’t know last night!”  Ximena said gulping down the whiskey as Jacinta widened her eyes not believing what her friend who was saying.  “That’s the person I have become! A woman who doesn’t care about the consequences! A woman who just does things that make her happy. Not only slept with him but I had to seduce him just to get my way” Ximena said trying to fight back the tears that threatened to fall from her eyes “I can’t concentrate on anything… I feel like I can never be the same” Ximena stammered trying to stay strong “Ximena, you are still young, don’t ever let what you have done or a man define who you are. The first step to take is to forgive yourself and don’t go on going down this path” She said to Ximena who was now letting tears fall from her eyes freeing. “Auntie Lizzie sacrificed 15 years of her life to take care of you and make sure you get an education that most people couldn’t” she explained to her friend who was silently sobbing “Am scared! Forget about all the negativity from people and live your life” Jacinta said to her friend who was nodding her head as she wiped her tears “Can I talk to Aunt first?”  Ximena asked her friend, who was smiling widely at her nodding her head “great! Am sure she will be happy” Jacinta said to her friend giving her a tight hug “Can we toast to that?” Ximena asked her friend breaking the hug as she took the shot of whiskey on the counter calling the bartender to come “Of course, Dr. Perez,” Jacinta said making Ximena choke on her whiskey, Ximena ordered more shots which the bartender poured for them “Bottoms up!”  They said in unison as they both gulped down the shots, and cracking into laughter “Okay we should get going now,” Jacinta said to her friend pulling her by her hand trying to get her friend out of the “Oh, please let just finish these shots,” Ximena said wanting to take her shots but Jacinta pulled her away “Nope! You are not!”  Jacinta said placing a $50 note on the counter and pulling her friend out of the club. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>  “Are you still thinking of that lady your highness?”  Scott asked Alexander who couldn’t put a finger on the fact that a woman left him in bed without taking anything or wanting more from him.
