Ximena sat at the back as the ambassador spoke about their trip here and how it would be helpful. She was exhausted from the flight and they couldn’t spare them a night to rest but just had to bring them here for dinner. She attentively listened and when they were done they drove her back to her hotel.
The next day she was supposed to be taken to the apartment they were renting for them. They all arrived at the hotel, ximena said she wanted to rest so she went straight to bed as everyone else decided to have a beer or two.
