Jillian I sat by my bedroom window, staring listlessly at the large expanse of trees which seemed to go on forever. My bedroom was on the second floor, the highest vantage in this huge mansion. It has served the role of a jail for me on more than one occasion. I've known many prisons in my life but this one was the coziest by a landslide… it is even my sanctuary most of the time. Still, that didn't mean I was never desperate to get out of here.
