CHAPTER 60: Serenity’s Soul

“I am so pissed with my guild in Mobile Legends. Damn, masyadong pabigat. We’re about to rank and they just want us to always be upfront. Bunch of dumbbells.”

“I know, right! It’s really annoying and they had the audacity to call you names like dude, I did more savages than all of you!”

“Right, right.”

Luciel felt his phone vibrating inside his pocket and he immediately took it out and read the text. It’s from Romina.

Romina: Luciel, I ran a quick errand but I don’t think I can do this all. Can you help me? I’m on the rooftop.

Luciel: Okay, I’ll be there in a sec.

Romina: If you’re thinking of using your ability to come here in a snap, don’t bother. Act like a human being and walk up here.

Luciel: Ugh. Okay fine. Be there.

He put his phone back in his pocket and excused himself from the conversation and went out of the classroom. He, then, silently walked his way to the rooftop and went upstairs.

He didn’t notice that Romina was inside the stock room waiting for him to go up. When she heard Luciel’s footsteps fading away, she slowly went out of the stock room.

“They’ll be fine, right?” Romina asked herself. “I really hope they won’t hurt each other once they’ll meet each other.”

When she finally ensure that Luciel went up the rooftop, she ran faster towards their classroom and attended the class.

Luciel, I ran a quick errand but I don’t think I can do this all. Can you help me? I’m on the rooftop.

Luciel was frowning while looking at his phone.

His eyes settled on the nothingness of the rooftop then he looked back at Romina’s text on his phone. “She told me to meet her here but she’s not here. Where the heck did that kid go—”

His gaze suddenly became sharp and turned his head to the railings and saw Sachiel standing on it.

“Where is she?!” Luciel asked, glaring sharply at his twin. His eyes turned into crimson red. “Where the heck is she, you bastard?!”

Sachiel stared at him and spoke. “Brother… listen to me.”

“I AM f*****g ASKING YOU WHERE IS SHE?!”

“She already left,” Sachiel answered calmly. “She set you up here to talk to me and she left.”

Luciel couldn’t help but glare at Sachiel. Damn that kid, she tricked me just to talk to this damn angel. He turned his back at the angel and spoke. “We have nothing to talk about and I did tell you not to talk to me anymore so, piss off.”

“Brother… listen to me,” Sachiel begged but Luciel kept on walking towards the door. Sachiel didn’t have a choice but to tell him what he wanted to tell him. “This is about Serenity!”

Luciel immediately threw a ball of fire at Sachiel but the latter just spread his hand and dispersed it into white glittered light.

Archangels.

“How dare you mention her name with that filthy mouth of yours?!” Luciel said in anger. “How dare you?!”

“It’s not just you who lost her, brother! I lost her too! Stop blaming anyone, especially yourself on something that’s already fated to happen! Neither the two of us wanted that to happen so please—”

“Shut up!” Luciel blasted a ball of fire on Sachiel once again but just like what happened earlier, Sachiel spread his hand and dispersed Luciel’s ball of fire into white glittered light. “How f*****g dare you say such things?! I’ll f*****g kill you!”

“I didn’t come here to seek a fight at you, brother. Please listen—” Luciel blasted a ball of fire on Sachiel. Sachiel spread his hand once again and dispersed Luciel’s ball of fire into white glittered light. “Please listen to me.”

“First, you had the audacity to lure Romina just to set me up to talk to you and now you also had the audacity to talk about Serenity. We’re done here. We have nothing to talk about so leave. I will not gonna think twice killing you so leave,” Luciel said and turned his back once again.

“The reason why Percival is also here is that he knew…” Sachiel trailed off. “He knew Serenity’s soul’s whereabouts.”

That made Luciel stop in his tracks and turned his head back at Sachiel. “What the f**k are you saying?”

“Serenity’s soul…” Sachiel deeply breathe and continued. “Serenity’s soul was reincarnated into human and Percival is on the hunt of obtaining it so he can complete his souls of enlightenment and become a god. If Percival will have her soul, it'll be the end. It'll cause huge chaos in the three realms. It'll start another war, Luciel."
