“So she really is the person Michael is talking about,” Simeon muttered. “What are we f*****g waiting for?! Let’s go!” Luciel immediately spread his black wings and flew towards the light. “Romina!” “Who… who are you?” Romina asked as soon as she saw the woman in front of her. She was wearing all white and she was floating in front of her. Even if the woman was illuminating bright lights around her, Romina could really tell that she was beautiful. The woman didn’t respond. She gently cupped Romina’s cheek and suddenly, Romina felt something extraordinary that she never felt before. The energy is too much for her to handle. He stopped mid-way when he saw Romina aiming her hand on the dementor who looked so weak that he couldn’t even stand properly. Maya, on the other hand, looked at Romina in such a bewildered and shocked expression flaunted on her face. “Romina!” he called her. He almost stopped mid-way as he saw something different from Romina’s appearance. He couldn’t help but frown in confusion. But even he was confused about what was happening, he still managed to call his human. “Romina!” Romina gasped as soon as she heard Luciel’s voice. She looked up and saw him flying towards them. His presence just gave her relief. “Luciel…” she called him. She felt so weak that she collapsed. Fortunately, Luciel managed to catch her in a nanosecond. “You mortal—” before the dementor could even attack her and Maya, he immediately stopped when Luciel stabbed him using a blaze of fire in a shape of a sword from his hand. The dementor grunted and turned into ashes. Luciel’s gaze maintained on Romina and gently cupped her face. “What… what happened? What did I do…?” Romina asked weakly. Luciel shook his head in response. He cupped her face and hugged her. “Nothing happened. Don’t worry.” He met Simeon's eyes and with a sigh, he looked down. He knew that even he, couldn't find the answer to Romina's question. “You can finally go now.” “Thank you so much, kuya Simeon and kuya Luciel for helping me. I am forever grateful,” Maya thanked them as she smiled widely at them. “Are you happy now?” Luciel managed to ask. “Yes, kuya.” “That’s good to hear.” Maya looked at them and smiled. She waved as the two angels accompanied her to the light. After they defeated the dementor, Luciel, L and Simeon managed to find Maya’s corpse and they proceed on looking for her mother. Fortunately, with Simeon and Luciel’s power, they managed to locate Maya’s mother who’s already old but she still managed to recognize Maya. Of course, the reunion of the two was very emotional that even Romina was brought in tears. “Goodbye, ate Romina. Thank you.” Romina was teary-eyed as she waved her hand to say goodbye to the kid. The light engulfed Maya until she finally disappeared from their sight and the light ascended to the sky. “Now, she finally passed to the afterlife…” Simeon said. As soon as Romina’s hand went down, she fainted in Luciel's arms. “How is she?” Luciel asked Simeon after the latter managed to heal Romina and put her in a calming sleep. Of course, Luciel was against the idea of Simeon doing it to Romina but since he had no idea about what happened earlier when both Romina and Maya were inside the dementor’s barrier, he allowed him to examine Romina. “She’s okay. She’s not in total danger so you don’t have to worry,” Simeon responded. That made Luciel sigh in relief. “Luciel… do you remember when Michael asked you about Romina?” That made Luciel pause for a second before he responded. “Yeah, what about it?” “I thought about something,” Simeon said. “The dementor is only after the dead’s souls that couldn’t pass the afterlife. They never, ever had interest with living’s souls so that made me think about something…” “What is it?” “Could it be…” he looked at Luciel once again. “Romina’s soul was a reincarnation from a powerful being?”
