Chapter 29.5: The Angel Of Death (Part 2)

325 Words
"Fall in line, everyone. We were about to climb the stairway to the Celestial Realm." The souls, both man and woman, children, adult and old people, nodded in response as they started to line up. They could see the clouds moving their way out of their way and they started to see the stairway towards Celestia. Everyone was excited as they could see angels coming down to assist them in going up to the realm. After the reapers see their names on the certain list if they're going to the Celestial Realm or to the Underworld Realm, they're getting escorted. They could hear happy cheers to souls who were going to the Celestial Realm, while they could also hear protests and cries from some of the souls who got evicted to the Underworld. "Batumbakal, Betty. Please proceed to this line," one of the reapers said, gesturing his hand towards the stairway. The soul smiled at the reaper as she walked towards the line towards the staircase. Reapers were used to it but since they couldn't show their faces, the souls didn't know if they were pleased or not. Not like it matters. They don't usually show emotions. "Romero, Alberto, you're going on the other way," the reaper said, gesturing to the hole below him. The soul looked at the hole and as he started to protest, chains were starting to wrap around him as he started to get dragged towards the Underworld. No one can really save a soul that committed unforgivable sins when they're still alive. "Cruz, Maria Christina--" The reaper stopped when he felt something unusual and he looked at somewhere, making the other reapers to look at him. "What's happening--" "Did you feel it too?" the reaper asked the other reapers as well. "Yes," one of the reapers responded. "I couldn't believe it." The reaper shook his head. "Me neither." "The former angel of death's power is emitting... from the human realm."
