I have always had this dream.
I always have this dream where I always see this certain guy with black wings looking at me. At first, it was really terrifying, but when I have this continuous dream with him, he didn’t mean any harm to me in that dream, so it wasn’t really terrifying anymore.
I couldn’t say it was a nightmare. I couldn’t say it’s a good dream either.
All I could say is that guy with black wings in my dream, it felt like he was just watching over me or something.
It did give me goosebumps. But then again, it’s not that terrifying.
I heard a knock on my door and I immediately looked at it after styling my hair. “It’s open, Mama.”
The knocking stopped and my mother opened my room’s door and peeked from it. “Are you ready? Let’s go.”
“Yes!” with a grin, I grabbed my sling bag and went out of the room with her.
“So your friend is a conductor in an orchestra? That’s so great, Mama!”
Mama patted my head as we walked towards the building where the classical concert will be held. She told me that their family friend invited Papa and her to watch his orchestra concert but since Papa is not around because he’s working outside the country so Mama decided to bring me instead so we could have our mother-daughter bonding together.
“Yep.”
“Waah, it’s my first time attending a classical concert so I am really looking forward to this!” I said in such enthusiasm. It’s true, I’m such a huge fan of classical music as well so I’m legit happy attending a concerto.
“You’ll gonna like it, anak,” Mom told me. “It’s actually a violin concerto so I bet you will like it.”
I nodded and grinned and we entered the concert hall. Of course, seeing an orchestra up close really made me so happy that I was staring at them in astonishment. “Wow.”
Mama pointed the guy in the middle and I could tell he was around Papa’s age. “That’s your Uncle Benjamin.”
“Wow. He really looked sophisticated,” I muttered.
“He is.”
The lights turned off and the only lights that were on were on the stage. As soon as the whole orchestra assembled, everyone bowed at the audience and we immediately gave them applause. Uncle Benjamin nodded at someone before he started to wave his hand, making a beat, and everyone in the orchestra played their instrument.
I couldn’t help but watch them in such astonishment. So this is the violin concerto.
It’s really, really amazing.
Suddenly, the whole orchestra went silent when they were already at the peak of their musical piece and the guy standing in the middle started to play his violin. He’s swaying his body elegantly as he played his violin. My eyes immediately went wide open the moment I saw the guy’s face.
“No way…” I couldn’t help but mutter. The guy was awfully familiar.
No, scratch that. I really did see him multiple times.
“Oh, we’re indeed lucky watching the concerto. The Black Angel is playing with them as well,” Mama said beside me that I immediately turned my head at her.
“B-Black Angel?”
“Yes. That’s what they call him. He’s a Music Prodigy in the music academy where your Uncle Benjamin teaches. I heard his name is Luciel Kurosawa. He’s half-Japanese.”
I immediately turned my head towards the guy who’s playing the violin right now whom they called ‘The Black Angel’ named Luciel Kurosawa.
And now the guy who looked exactly that guy with a pair of black wings in my dream is right in front of me playing the violin skillfully.
“So this is the Black Angel’s Concerto.”
The moment our eyes met as soon as the orchestra started playing with him, I felt myself suddenly gasping for air the moment I saw his eyes gleaming with a smile on his face as he played the violin.
“You…” I muttered under my breath.
I finally found you.
