I was tricked by my crush
Maddie It was a summer night, and all the students at Oxwell University were celebrating the end of the semester at a big and lively party. There was booze and upbeat electronic music that got the crowd all excited to dance and have more fun, but things were going much further than that for Derek and me. I had been dreaming about kissing this Alpha boy for a long time, but my dream was coming true today as he kissed me with so much passion, his hands grabbing my waist eagerly, guiding me to the bedroom of his house, laying me down on his bed, and getting on top of me... It was so addictive. He was smiling at me and kissing me passionately, as if he wanted me so much. I wasn't much of a flirt because I was unpopular at college; boys didn't look at me much, but today Derek, the most popular of all, kissed me at the party, and now he was here with me in bed. I gave myself over to him, kissing my whole body and having me completely. My love for him was inevitable, and I knew that everything in our lives would change after this one-night stand. “Holy crap, you are so fine…” he babbled as he had me in his arms, totally surrendering to me just as I was to him. “I love you, Derek… I love you so much,” I said to him in the midst of ecstasy, knowing that my words were the purest truth. The next day, when I woke up, the first thing I did was smile stupidly when I remembered what had happened the night before. I remembered in detail what my moment had been like with Alpha Derek, right here in this bed. I felt in the bed, still drowsy, wanting to hug him and kiss him good morning, but I soon realized that the bed was empty. Had he gone for breakfast? But soon after, I realized that he was on the porch, talking on his cell phone. I got up from the bed, still with a silly smile, put on a shirt that belonged to him, and then approached the glass door that led to the balcony, which was open and covered by the dark curtains of his room. I wanted to go to him and hug him because I was still elated by the recent events, but I had to stop right there at the door after hearing what he said. “Yes, I had s*x with her all night, yes. It wasn't that difficult; she's easy prey. Next time, give me a harder challenge,” he said into the cell phone, laughing mockingly. He was turned away, looking at the landscape of the upscale neighborhood where he lived, so he didn't see me almost collapsing on the floor after assimilating his words. What? Easy prey? Challenge? What was he talking about…? “I told Justin that no girl can resist me, not even Madelyn, that spoiled brat. It was actually nice to have fun with her; she behaves well in bed.” He was laughing naughtily. “Now you all owe me 100 dollars!” I couldn't stay there any longer; my hands were shaking, but I immediately put on my clothes from yesterday, picked up my bag, and left that house with tears blurring my vision. So it had simply been that? Had he stayed with me just to fulfill a silly challenge between him and his friends? And I believed his words of affection and appreciation. Was all of that just because he wanted to take me to bed, take my virginity, and show everyone that he was the biggest Alpha male in college? My chest hurt as I ran down the stairs of his house, crying. I had been made a fool. I was so stupid... When I was downstairs, I came across his family sitting at the table for breakfast. Father, mother, brothers... they were looking at me, already wondering what had happened. “Hey, look at the other girl who came out of Derek's room crying,” his father commented, sighing and going back to reading the newspaper as if it were nothing. “Poor thing, she must have thought Derek would choose her as his mate one day; what a stupid girl!” his mother scoffed, going back to eating breakfast. “Do you want to have breakfast?” a guy who was Derek's brother asked; he was the only one who wasn't looking at me with hostility because they were all looking at me like I was a b***h. “I… I just want to go home…” I sniffled through tears. They were laughing at me like I was a fool. How could they be so insensitive? Their son had just used me and played with me, and they couldn't f*****g empathize with me? I wanted to run from there to a place where I would hide forever, but I let my anger speak louder and approached the table with firm steps, picking up the glass of orange juice and throwing the liquid in the faces of his mother, his father, and his entire family. “You disgusting turds! I want you all to die!” I screamed at them and then ran out of that house while trying to control my tears. Likewise, I was hating crying because of that situation, so if I was going to cry, I didn't want to do it in front of those people. I started walking down the street of the condominium where Dereck's family mansion was, feeling a little lost because the night before, he was the one who took me here in his car, and I didn't need to pay attention to anything because I was feeling safe in the company of the Alpha. My mistake. How did I trust him like that to the point of giving myself to him, now knowing that he was just messing with me? That was hurting me so much... I was wondering if, by chance, I could go back in time. But even so, even if I went back in time, I believe that I would fall back on Derek's words; he was the Alpha that I had liked since I started studying at that college. He was the most handsome of all, most popular and attractive; all the girls would fall in love with him, so I was a fool too. “Stupid girl,” I cursed myself, feeling frustrated. I wiped my tears that insisted on falling and pulled my sweater over my shoulders. I just needed to get to the bus stop and take the first one that came to me, and then I could leave this place. It was then that a luxurious car stopped right in front of me, and when the driver opened the car window, I could see that it was a boy, and to my surprise, it was none other than Derek's brother, whom I had seen minutes ago at the breakfast he was having with his disgusting parents. "Do you want a ride?" he asked, making me gasp in silence. "Come. I’ll take you home.”
