9 DAHLIA SAT AT her desk in her neoclassical Louis XVI study, which was connected to her bedroom and suite of rooms in the large, stately home she shared with Camille in Holmby Hills, adjacent to Beverly Hills. The scent of snowy white lilies, fresh from their cutting garden, wafted from a crystal vase on the fireplace mantle.
