After Rin fused with Byakko. Rin felt something strange are brewing inside his body... Specifically, his core...
'Hm?! This flow of energy is overwhelming my core! Is this, what they call a breakthrough?! Oh crap, with danger in front of me, I couldn't afford to focus on breaking through! Also, how the hell did I start to breakthrough?! I didn't have any cultivation method yet!' There's a lot of thing in Rin's mind right now and he is a bit overwhelmed with what he should be doing.
He know that he has no Cultivation method yet, however, he seems to be breaking through. In his mind right now, either because he understood how this world work, he is able to have that breakthrough moment, or by fusing himself with the Divine Beast, his Cultivation was made and that becomes his Cultivation Method.
"SUZAKU! COME BACK AND PROTECT ME!" Rin had no choice but to use Suzaku for his protection.
Suzaku hears that and immediately came toward its master at a speed of light... Before anyone could notice Suzaku, a fiery wall split Rin and the Crazed Swordsmen.
Suzaku glares upon the entire squad of crazy folks and realized something is definitely wrong with them all. Just like Rin thought. However, Suzaku understood more than that. Suzaku knows what's going on with them as well.
'It's a nice thing Suiryuu and Genbu goes to that swamp. This people bloodlust are similar to the bloodlust emitted by that corpse in the Swamp. Also, Master aura has started to formed... It's only a matter of time before things take a pretty twisting turn...' Suzaku has finished observing the situation and chose to do the easiest way to protect Rin...
Turning into a blur in an instant, Suzaku moves along with the wind and then slap its wings on the back of everyone's neck. Making sure that every single one of them are incapacitated for a long time...
Then, after completing its job, Suzaku turns to a normal bird size and then the flame around Rin disappears... Suzaku then chills on the branch on top of Rin and then inform Suiryuu and Genbu.
'Where are you all? What's the situation?' Through Telepathy, Suzaku asked for the other two divine beast for information.
Although it takes a bit of time, the two of them reaches out to Suzaku.
'I'm sorry for the late reply. The Swamp is a bit too dangerous for anyone to traverse because of the corpse...' Suiryuu open the conversation with that. Then, Genbu followed up with 'As Suiryuu said, it's too dangerous because the corpse that we are dealing with right now feels the same as us. Meaning, Divine Beast.'
Suzaku was a bit taken aback when hearing about that as it take a gaze upon his master whose core has just been formed and currently having an enlightenment to get stronger.
Then, Suzaku decided to created a plan that Rin would made...
'Keep that area safe for now. Check for any intact remains of the Divine Beast. If there's anything that is remotely 'Alive' of the beast, keep it and wait for Master. If I'm not mistaken, that would be the key for Master to get even stronger!' Suzaku explains.
The other Divine Beast are quick to catch on to Suzaku's intention. Although they didn't know what's going on with Rin right now, they feel like Suzaku makes a lot of sense with what he said. So, they stay there and take a look around.
Suiryuu and Genbu continue to take a closer look around the swamp, especially in near the skeletal remains of the Divine Beast...
"Hmm... This looks familiar..." Genbu said as it looked at Suiryuu. Suiryuu nodded as well as it felt a sense of familiarity upon seeing the corpse...
Then, both Suiryuu and Genbu muttered the same name "Kirin." The two looked at each other and immediately split up, as to knowing what they should do.
Before long, they saw something near the skull of the Kirin and sure enough, they find something that they're looking for.
"There it is. Kirin's Horn. The Heaven Piercing Kirin Horn. Maybe Master will find a use to it." Suiryuu bite onto the horn and then Genbu nodded to it.
The two of them had found what they're tasked to find, not to mention, other than the skeleton that is too corrupted to be brought back, there's nothing that is interesting for them. So, they make their way back to Rin and then prepare to explain to Rin what they found.
Rin, however. Are still occupied with breaking through. Rin Started from the very bottom of the Level. From Foundation, to Energy Augmentation Stage, to Morphic Evolution Stage, to the third stage Heaven Ascension. To be precise, Heaven Ascension Stage 3rd Level...
At the end of his meditation, Rin felt that his body is the strongest its ever been, including his prime in the outside world...
"Phew... Byakko, come out." Rin cancel out his fusion with Byakko upon learning that Suzaku has taken care of business...
'It's unfortunate that all of my understanding of my Divine Beasts only get me that far... The Divine Beasts Fusion Art is definitely powerful, but it needed more understanding with my divine beast... I already used my understanding of Byakko, Genbu, Suzaku, and Suiryuu...'
Unlike Lavi, who's granted a Cultivation method by the Ancestor of the Demonic Sword Clan, Rin figured out his own Cultivation method. However, as impressive as discovering a rare method by himself, it means that the probability of encountering someone who understand how to breakthrough using his method are rare as well...
So, Rin has no way of breaking through unless he figured out more about his own Divine Beasts and potentially, this world Divine Beast...
Fortunately for Rin though, Suiryuu and Genbu, came back bringing something that he needed to breakthrough even more...
"Master! We're back!" Genbu and Suiryuu landed in front of Rin and then put the Kirin Horn in front of Rin.
"Suzaku told us that you might need this Kirin Horn. So, we bring it with us and hope that this would be a great help for you!" Suiryuu immediately understand why Suzaku told them to search for any intact remain of Kirin.
Rin knows from the name Kirin that he just struck gold... But, he didn't show any sign of happiness because he's still clueless on what to do with it... So, He just touch the Kirin Horn and instantly felt a connection with it... A burning connection that burns his body...
"Ugh!" He instinctively jumped back in fear because he felt his soul started to burn...
"... It seems like Master isn't worthy to touch the World Piercing Kirin Horn just yet..." Byakko explained to Rin. Rin just sigh and then put it in his storage ring and then replied to Byakko. "It's fine... Before I do anything with Kirin's Horn, I need to fully maximize my understanding of you all. How can I try to understand other Divine Beast if my knowledge of you is not perfect?"
Rin shows them a lot of care with that words. So, they all just smiled and then turn small and lined up in front of Rin like they're paying Respect...
"Let's not waste enough time, you all. It's time for us to create a name for ourselves!" He started grinning and smiling. Rin now have the power to create a shake in Palacia's Outer Realm. Now, he set his eye on the world and hope that he get to meet Lavi.
