Chapter 92: Rin's Trouble.

While Lavi's side is pretty tame, Rin's side is not that tame...
The start of his journey to Palacia begins in a pretty dense forest that obstruct Rin's view as far as his vision can see. It's also harder for Rin to move because his body is that of a normal human. Different than Lavi.
The Divine Beasts that's with Rin, are keeping an eye out for his safety... Byakko stays with Rin beside him while Genbu, Suzaku, and Suiryuu are patrolling the area around Rin.
"Master, this forest is filled with Killing Intent. But we can't see where the Killing intent came from. I advise that you proceed with caution." Byakko informed Rin about the weirdness in this forest...
Suzaku, the Flaming bird that's patrolling in the sky along with Suiryuu, gave information to Rin through telepathy.
'Master, I see a swamp 3km ahead! Upon looking at it closely, there's some sort of corpse that's rotting and corrupting the forest ahead!' Rin creates a mental note about the information given to him by Suzaku.
Rin didn't waste any time upon learning about that Information. "Suiryuu, take Genbu along with you and then observe the Swamp up ahead! If you deemed that it was too dangerous for me to go, then we make our way away from the Swamp!"
'Understood Master!' Suiryuu takes Genbu with him and then fly towards the Swamp to check to see whether Rin is safe to tread that place.
Then, Rin informs Suzaku "Suzaku, check the area around me and inform of anything approaching me."
'Yes Master!' Then, Suzaku started circling the sky and then look for any danger that's lurking around Rin...
But then, Byakko divine sense felt something.
"Master! Prepare to fight!" Byakko immediately warn Rin about the incoming danger that's coming toward him.
Rin immediately responded and then call his massive sword out and then grip it tightly. Although his physique is that of a normal human, his sense is that of a warrior. With his sword in his hand, there's nothing that can put Rin to fear.
As Byakko stated, danger really is lurking around Rin.
A bunch of pitter patter can be heard around Rin. The amount of pitter patter seems to be in the tens. Making Rin a bit nervous because he doesn't know what could be around him planning an attack. Not to mention, the amount of enemies is unknown.
'It could be just a single enemy that is so quick with its feet or a bunch of enemies... Ideally, it's just a single enemy with a lot of foot rather than a bunch of enemies...'
Rin couldn't call Suiryuu and Genbu because he wants to check the area ahead as a contingency plan, he can call Suzaku but he's afraid that more enemy will approach. So, he could only rely on Byakko and himself to survive...
"They're coming, Master!" Byakko felt something moves in closer. And as Byakko said, a crazed looking man jumped out from the bushes with a dagger and jumped toward Rin.
Rin quickly assess the situation. 'One jumped, but the pitters patters still remains. Meaning that it's the latter. Tch, this is a pain in the ass!'
Rin immediately swing his sword toward the Crazed looking man. He thinks 'Is this man a human who's crazy? Or just a humanoid creature? I'll know when I see his corpse!' He's ready to make a judgement after seeing the result of the first fight...
Unfortunately, Rin's sword was block by the crazed man dagger... That shook both Rin and Byakko as they didn't think that it would be possible for a man that looked like he was out of his mind to block Rin's attack.
The Crazed man eyes states that he doesn't want to do this, he looked pained and sorry to do this to Rin. However, his mouth is smiling and even drooling...
'Alright... I can make a basic assumption about what's going on.'
The man comes in closer toward Lavi and then tries to swipe his dagger toward Rin's neck. Only for Rin to dodge and Byakko came in for the neck.
'Byakko, don't kill him!' Rin informs Byakko through telepathy.
Byakko understand his command and then swing its tail toward the back of the neck of the man... The Man quickly passed out after getting smacked on his neck by Byakko overwhelming power...
"Master, why did you stop me?"
"Not now, Byakko! There's still more of them!" Rin knows that this man moved first to get some information for the other crazed people. And Rin was right...
A dozen swordsman jumped him with the same attitude. They looked like they're not in their right man. But these lots, Rin seemed to notice the difference...
'They're a clansperson! I cannot hurt them. I need to cure them of their crazed nature and gain information!' Rin thinks about the future. Just like how Lavi taught him.
He grabbed his sword once again and then take a deep breath to focus...
'With my current physique, I will be dead if they attack me... I must disrupt their movement and then fused with Byakko.'
Rin wait for all of the crazed swordsman to be in the range of his sword reach. He doesn't care if one of them are really close to him. As long as everyone of them are in his reach, he can take care of his movement in one sweep...
Rin waited even though danger creeps in the form of a sword coming closer to his neck... But, before that sword can reach his neck, everyone steps inside his range and he just swing his sword and cleave everyone in one swing...
Even though the crazed swordsman are aiming for Rin's neck, they didn't want to die themselves. So, when Rin unleashed that quick swing, their instinct is to block that move.
"Phew, that was close... That sword came in a little bit too close to comfort!"
Rin was sweating buckets as he saw his life almost ended...
"Byakko. Fuse with me."
"Understood master!"
Without wasting anytime, upon getting the space he needed, Rin fused together with Byakko. His body turned to become a half man half tiger fusion. Rin looked at the crazed swordsman with his menacing eyes and then roared.
ROARRR!!!
A very loud roar pierced their ears and then hindered their movement because their eardrums are suffering pretty badly...
"Well then, shall we dance to the tune of the world?" Rin has started to get more and more similar to Lavi with the way he acted. In the face of grave danger, he look for the fun part. So now, it's time for him to have his fun.
