The Princess and Her Queen

Chapter 2

Violeta and Ivory looked at each other as they both stood in front of the most sinister mansion of all. The mansion where Satan lives. Violeta sighed.

"Wait here.." Ivory nodded and watched as Violeta walked towards the double door. Violeta pushed the door and immediately a strong gushed of wind with the stench of death coming out of the mansion.

Ivory covered her nose while waving her hands in front of her face.

 "Seriously? All those slaves and no one to clean?" Violeta sheepishly smiled. 

"Well even if they clean, their blood with drip all over the place."

Ivory imagined what her mate just said.

 "Good point." Ivory began to walk towards Violeta when she just dodged a spear from piercing her abdomen.

 "Such welcome.." Ivory said.

"Sorry.." Violeta apologised.

 "I'M HERE! WITH THE GOBLET.." Violeta shouted. Suddenly a black mist appeared out of nowhere and Satan made himself known.

 "Hmm.."

He landed on the floor and instantly the floor turned as black as charcoal.

 "My goblet.." Ivory cleared her throat.

 "That's my goblet... Thief.." Satan turned to face the queen.

"Did you just speak to me without my permission?" Ivory stepped forward.

 "Yes. What will you do to me you good for nothing.." Violeta grabbed Ivory by the wrist and pulled her back.

Violeta kneels in front of the man who causes her pain for years and apologised. "Pathetic.." Satan examine the goblet and smirked.

"Perfect. I grant you your wish to continued with the school year. But remember, I will come for you when I needed you..." Satan faces the queen again.

"Maybe you need to be in the academy as well. A woman like you need to be trained to behave anyway." Satan laughed and disappeared in the darkness of the mansion.

"One day I'll kill him. And why do you even kneel for him?!" Ivory asked her mate. 

"Because if I don't he will drag my mom back to the underworld." Violeta stood up and smiled at the queen.

"Let's meet with my family. As he said, he grants me my wish." Both of the vampires went out of the mansion and went inside the car. Violeta nodded at the driver and he began to drive towards the Akeldama palace.

"Tell me about this academy." Violeta turned to the queen. 

"You never heard of the academy?" Ivory shakes her head.

 "Should I?" Violeta shrugged.

"Well, it's a school for creatures. For future leader get themselves ready for what's coming for them." Violeta thought for something else to say. 

"For creatures like me to learn something, I guess."

Ivory chuckled.

 "Don't you have a Royal tutor for that?" Violeta smiled. 

"We do but where's the fun of that? Academy was fun. We get to meet new friends and all.." Ivory was intrigued by knowing there is such a place.

"Am I allow to be in this academy?" Violeta shrugged. 

"I don't see why not..." Ivory smiled.

 "That settles then! I'll enrol at your school so we can be together always.." Violeta smiled back.

"I'll like that.." Ivory rested her head on Violeta shoulder and smiled all the way to the Akeldama palace.

Ivory and Violeta got out of the car when the driver opened the door for them. It's been so long since Violeta last felt at ease. Away from all the problematic life, she had to endure.

"VIOLETA!!" A little vampire yelled and jumped on Violeta. Instinctively Violeta grabbed the child's body and hugged her tight.

 " Hyra!" Little Hyra chuckled and hugged her big sister as tight as she can.

Ivory watched this and smiled. Hyra noticed her and smiled. 

"Hyra..." Hyra presents her little hand to the queen. 

"Ivory.. Princess Hyra.." Hyra chuckled they both shake hands.

"My oh my... Is that Violeta?" Cara asked as she walked out of the palace with her wife. Voltaria smiled at the sight of her daughters. 

"Where's the boys at?"

Cara looked around and whistled for the twins. On cue, two werewolves running towards the palace and immediately stopped when they both noticed Ivory in front of the palace.

They both whimpered and went next to Cara. 

"What's wrong boys?" Cara asked and then she faced the queen. 

"Leon.. Balthazar.. Go to the back and put on clean clothes." The twins nodded their head and went to the back.

"Violeta.. Who is the woman you came home with.." Voltaria asked.

 "Ivory Constantine, my mate, mommy.." Cara and Voltaria's eyes widen.

 "The queen of Constantine?!"

Ivory smiled. Cara and Voltaria both look at each other and bow to the queen. Ivory waved it off. "I'm your daughter's mate. There's no need to be so formal."

"Please... Come on in... Your majesty.." Voltaria humbly said. Violeta let Hyra down. The little vampire went in front of the queen and looked at her thoroughly.

"You're a queen?" Hyra asked. Ivory nodded. 

"Really?" Again Ivory nodded.

 "Show us.." 

"Hyra honey... That's not polite.." Voltaria pulled her daughter closer.

She knew what will happen if the queen gets angry. She knew who's the real Ivory was. The ruthless ruler the realm has ever seen.

 "Okay..." Ivory said and went to the middle of the field.

By now even Violeta wondering what she's doing. Ivory opened her arms wide and closed her eyes. Hyra has been in class with the great Thana and she learned that if she's a queen, she must have some sort of power.

Like her grandma Thana, her sword can absorb the soul of the creatures she killed. Grandma Essence can summon the great spirit of the werewolves. But what will Queen Ivory have in store?

Suddenly, black mist appeared out of nowhere. Everyone watched this with curiosity in mind. Suddenly the queen released a huge amount of power to the sky and the once clear sky became as dark as it can be.

"LET THERE BE THUNDER!" On cue, loud thunder began to roar making everyone flinched.

 "LET THERE BE LIGHTING!" The bright light from the sky hit the trees nearby, completely destroying everything in its path.

"LET THERE BE CLEAR SKY AGAIN!" Just like that, the black mist disappeared and the weather turned clear as ever. Ivory turned and everyone's mouth ajar opened, mesmerised by her power to control Mother Nature.

She walked back to Violeta and smiled. 

"That's just half of my power. I can control the natural elements. I can do magic tricks... Just name it." Everyone looked at her weirdly except Violeta who looked as proud as ever.

"Welcome to the Akeldama palace.." Cara said making the situation weirder. Ivory just chuckled and followed everyone inside.

Ivory admires the interior inside the famous Akeldama palace. It's way luxurious than hers but hers mostly for family and friends to hang. None for Royal occasion.

"Well well well... Look who's decided to walk inside my palace.." Queen Thana said as she walked down the twin stairs. Ivory turned to meet the queen and smirked.

"The great Thana.." Thana smiled. 

"Welcome to my humble palace the great Ivory Constantine." Ivory nodded her head and watched as Queen Essence walked down as well. They both made eye contact and smiled.

"It's been so long Ivory... Now you're a queen." "Last time we've met was my parents funeral." Thana nodded. "And then you refuse to host any occasion and even join us in the Royal gala." The three queens chuckled at their joke?

Voltaria nodded at her oldest daughter. 

"My queen..." Voltaria kneels down in front of her grandmothers. "Meet my mate. Ivory Constantine." Thana started to laugh.

"Am I hearing this right?!"

 "Better believe it Thana." Ivory said. 

"Wait... Seriously?" Essence asked her granddaughter. Violeta nodded. 

"Your mate is a queen?!" Thana asked. Slowly Violeta nodded.

Thana doesn't know what to say. If this was true, the Amador throne will belong to Nezera, Voltaria's sister. 

"Welcome to the family.." Thana smiled at the fellow queen. She turned to face her wife who looked like she's thinking of something.

Leon and Balthazar, the twin werewolves walked in and bow to the queen. They both turned away when they noticed Ivory. 

"I'm sorry for their rudeness.." Cara apologised.

Ivory waved it off but something about them so familiar but she just can't think of the right memories. Violeta noticed her adopted brothers look troubled. It must be something that Ivory did long before.

"This is your room?" Ivory asked as she walked in Violeta's old room. Violeta nodded and closed the door. 

"My old room indeed." Violeta chuckled.

 "What the.."

Ivory showed Violeta a dildo and Violeta quickly grabbed it and threw it out of the window. 

"That's not mine.." Violeta said and turned away. Ivory chuckled and patted her shoulder.

"Of course baby..." Ivory went to sit on the bed and lay down. 

"Not the best but I can manage." Violeta raised both eyebrows.

"That's bold. Anyway, do you want to follow me?" Violeta asked.

"Where to?" Ivory got up to a sitting position.

 "You'll see." Violeta offered her hand and Ivory took it. Violeta leads her mate to the window and literally jumped off the windows and landed perfectly on the ground.

"That was fun..." Ivory chuckled. 

"I always do this whenever I need to get away." Violeta leads her mate towards a water damn and climbs up the stairs. One for the guards noticed the princess and let her through.

"Oh great. Minutes before sunset.." Violeta said and pointed at the whole kingdom from the top of the damn. 

"The Akeldama Kingdom.." Ivory watched as the sun slowly set and she turned to Violeta.

"Beautiful isn't it?" Violeta asked her mate. She turned to the queen and pulled her closer.

 "Like you." Ivory blushed. Suddenly her mind wanders to the moment of her ruthless ruling.

The true colours of Ivory Constantine. Ivory chuckled. Sooner or later, Violeta will know for sure.

 "I don't know if you will still say that after you knew what I had done to be where I am now." Violeta smiled. 

"I work for Satan for years. Whatever you did, will not top what I had done for that man." Ivory sighed.

 "To be who I am now, need sacrifices. And I killed my own brother for that."

"But he was evil." Violeta reasoned. 

"Your grandmother knows my past. She was there. You can ask her if you're curious and then you can do what best for you." Ivory tries to smile but failing. 

"Then you may choose between to accept me as your mate or reject me.." Violeta doesn't know what to say. Why was she being so sure that she will be rejected?

Violeta shake it off and turned to the sunset. 

"The sun is setting.." Ivory turned to the sun as well. 

"It's time for creatures like us wandering the wild and feed..." Ivory wrapped her hands on Violeta waist.

With Violeta being a little bit taller than Ivory, she rested her head on Violeta chest and watched the sun setting. This was the first time Violeta shared this moment with someone so dear to her.

From that moment she promised not to let anyone tainted her decision on accepting Ivory as her mate. Even if she's the meanest and the evilest woman in the history of vampires.

She knows that deep down, she's a kind-hearted lady with the feeling to be loved by someone. And the goddess sends Violeta as that someone.

Violeta knocks on her grandmother's private chamber after dinner. She let Hyra and her family stayed with Ivory at the moment. Violeta was curious about what Ivory meant by her grandmother know who she really was.

Thana said a low come in but it's enough for Violeta to heard it.

 "Oh.. Violeta... Come in.." Thana smiled. Violeta bows at both queen and sits on the couch facing her grandmother's.

Thana let her book down and smiled.

 "What is it you need little one.." Violeta sighed. "I want to know more about my mate." Thana looked at her weirdly.

"Why not asked her yourself?" 

"She said to ask you. You will not hide anything from me." By now Essence too closed her book and let it down. 

"Violeta... It's okay. We approve. And I know your parents do too."

Violeta shake her head. That's not the answers she's looking for. 

"What did she did to be who she is now? I know she killed her brother. But he was evil. That's understandable." Thana pressed her temple.

"Ivory... The black hair queen was one of the beautiful and goer groups queen ever. She's most powerful vampires in this realm. Some say she's the same level as my mother, former queen Kora. But instead of doing something good, she used her power to conquered smaller kingdom." 

"By killing their innocent mayor." Essence added. Thana nodded.

 "She's also known as the throne grabber. She lures the future king and grabbed the throne when the future king or King was vulnerable."

"In other words, she's a snake. But a genius in the battle plan. She's a very heroic warrior. Her will to fight was magnificent." Essence stood up and went to grabbed a book.

"She's a black magic practitioner. The evil mind works well with evil magic. But these past hundreds of years, she's been staying inside her castle ground. Some say she's building up her power. Never to be seen. Never to be in any Royal occasion."

Violeta tries to process everything. Where's the evil part of it all. She's seen the worst things. 

"Where's the sinister part?" Essence showed a book to Violeta. 

"She tried to bring her parents back to life by using dark magic."

Violeta read the contained of the book and looked up to her parents. "She's the first vampire who manages to perform the ritual but the outcome was horrible."

"Horrible?" Violeta asked her grandmothers. Thana nodded. "The dark magic tainted her parent's mind. Soon Ivory knew she just has woken a monster. A monster who will not stop until every power consumed." Essence closed the book. 

"And that's how she met Satan. With a little help from us." 

"How did all these happen without my consent?" Essence chuckled.

"Remember the time when Satan decapitated your head and kept in the dark corner of the underworld for your so call training?" Violeta thinks for a moment.

She nodded. "We visited, but your head was nowhere to be found. Your parents were so angry at him for decapitated your head." Violeta traced the scars on her neck.

"So what happens when she met Satan?" Thana leaned back. 

"Well Ivory made a pact with him. If he manages to drag her parents back to the underworld and locked them forever, Ivory will give him something he wanted the most at the moment, the goblet of Jamshid."

"The what?" Violeta was confused. "The goblet of Jamshid said to be filled with the elixir of immortality. And also it was used to scrying. It is also said that Satan could use it to 'peep' into the heavens with it."

"The Constantine was famous for its artefact collection. And so Satan did what was asked. But knowing that man, he wants more." Thana chuckled.

 "For a man like him, he's scared of your mate a little for Ivory nearly killed him at one time."

"As your grandmother said before, she was a very magnificent fighter. And one of her powers was to manipulate Mother Nature." Essence winked at her granddaughter. 

"Trust on this when we said your mate was one of the most beautiful vampire queens in this realm."

"She has thousands of suitors coming from every part of the realm to proposed but she rejected everyone because she's waiting for her true mate. And we guess it's you." Thana smiled.

"How did you two met?" Essence asked. 

"Satan gave me a mission and it was to steal from her Royal vault room." Both Thana and Essence gasped. "So you just follow what he said and marched down her heavily guarded palace?!" Thana asked.

Violeta nodded. 

"It's a good thing you two were mates. If not, our kingdom will be in war with hers." Violeta smiled.

 "She's quite loving." Essence chuckled.

 "Well to you yes. To others, she's evil."

"Just remember this little one. Whatever and I mean whatever others said outside this castle wall, ignore them. Even if she's one for the evilest woman in history, she's your mate and I'm positive she will not betray you."

Violeta nodded at her grandmother's advice. 

"Yes. She might be evil but a Constantine will never let someone so dear to them just like that. And she's quite a jealous vampire. Be careful." Essence winked and chuckled.

"Choose your words wisely. She has an anger issue. And she can be quite possessive. I don't want your mate to flood my palace." Thana joked. Violeta laughed and stood up. She thanked her grandmother and went to meet her mate.

Violeta watched as Ivory played with Hyra and the twins. The twins looked like they both scared of her but Ivory was being friendly and funny with her magic tricks.

Hyra laughed like never before and that moment, Violeta know, Ivory was her true mate.
