The Princess and Her Queen

Chapter 3

Violeta woke up with an empty bed and wonder where her mate was. She got up to a sitting position and stretched herself. Violeta went to the bathroom and began to do her morning routine.

After she's done, she tied her hair up in a high ponytail and went to search for her mate. She yawned as she walked downstairs and quickly grabbed the twins by the collar when she noticed them running around. "Where's everyone?" She asked her brothers.

"The arena. Grandma Kora challenge Ivory in a duel." Violeta's eyes widen. Seriously!? Violeta thought to herself and went to the arena together with the twins where the whole kingdom gathered.

Loud cheering can be heard as they get closer. This was not like their usual event. This fight was between the two most powerful creatures in this realm. Goddess knows what will happen. Violeta went inside the arena and searched for her mate.

Voltaria waved for her but gave her mother a smiled. The crowd started to chant Kora's name when Ivory walked out of the gates. They all watched as the queen known for her ruthless and merciless ruling smiling at everyone.

Violeta Went to her mate who's getting her weapons ready. "What are you doing?" Violeta asked. Ivory turned and jumped on her mate.

"VIOLETA... Oh and your grandmother challenged me." Ivory leaned in and filled Violeta's face with little kisses for good luck...

"I know that but why you say yes?" Ivory let go of Violeta and smirked. "A queen never back down from a duel.." Violeta sighed. She turned to her grandmother and waved.

Kora waved back and smiled. "Are you serious now?" Kharis said as she walked beside her wife. "You're challenging your own granddaughter's mate?" Kora nodded. "Well, I'm curious about how great of a fighter she is." Kora smiled.

Kharis shakes her head and sighed. "Just don't kill her and get yourself kill," Kharis said and went to the Royal seat on the arena. Ivory turned her back and face the former queen. Her smirked didn't leave her face from the start.

Both fighters decided to wear a simple leather armour with an animal skull on one of their shoulder and layers of the finest leather to cover their crucial part of their body.

Ivory chooses to fight with a sword and dagger as Kora decided to use her sword and magical power. They started to walked towards the middle of the fighting arena that usually for the Knights all over the realm to showed their outstanding power.

But today something different happen. Once the whole kingdom was informed, they all wonder what's happening. There's never an announcement about any event. This is all so sudden.

Creatures and human began to fill the empty spaces of the arena and their curiosity rises when they noticed the former queen on the arena with a mysterious woman with black hair.

"So.. You're ready old woman?" Ivory asked. Kora chuckled. "I'm always ready. I am the keeper of Horus." They both turned and took 10 steps away from each other.

Ivory looked at the former queen with determination in her eyes. Kora looked at her granddaughters mate with pleasure to see her kneel in front of her.

When Kora heard the horns sound by the Knights, she sprinted towards Ivory and their sword made the loudest clang ever. Immediately everyone can feel the power that Kora released in her swing.

Ivory had a hard time deflecting the swing. She didn't expect this old vampire to have such power in her. Ivory pushed the vampire off and counter-attack by kicking the sand on the ground.

Kora covered her eyes and Ivory took this chance by kicked the old vampire on the stomach, sending her flying back to the back of the arena. Kora groaned in pain as she hit the rocky wall and landed face-first on the sandy ground.

Ivory started to laugh and waited for Kora to get up. Kora blew her hair out of her face and laughed along with Ivory. "You will be in a very painful state little vampire.." Ivory mockingly follows what Kora did and laughed.

"Come and get me old woman.." Kora suddenly pounces on Ivory and they both fell on the ground. Ivory rolled the former queen to the back and began to hit her face repeatedly until Kora rolled them back again and took charge of the attack.

Kora repeatedly hitting the queen's vital part of her body but Ivory just laughed it off. Kharis stopped whatever she's doing and observe how the queen instantly healed her injuries.

"That's impossible!" Kora was shocked to see how fast she can be healed. "Better believe it.." Ivory grabbed Kora's neck and squeezed as tight as she could. Kora struggling to gasp for air.

Slowly Ivory weaken the vampire and got up but still kept a hold of her neck. She manages to stood up and made Kora kneel in front of the queen. Everyone gasped and stood up from their seat because they can't believe what just happen.

"How does it feel when you kneel in front of me, with them, your subject witnessing this?" Kora smirked. Kora placed both of her hands on Ivory's and snapped it like its a twig.

Ivory's screamed filled the whole arena and let go of Kora's neck. Kora got up and began to knock the queen to the ground. With the queen's arm still in its healing process, Kora took this chance to attack the queen by pushing her into the ground.

With so much force and power, Kora nearly buried the queen before she released one of her powers. "LET THERE BE EARTHQUAKE." The arena's ground started to shake uncontrollably.

Kora jumped away from the hole that nearly made her stumbled and landed on the other side of the arena. Ivory climbed up the hole and glared at Kora. Without any warning, Ivory threw her poison dagger to Kora and it hit Kora's left thigh.

Kora pulled the dagger out and threw it away. She was about to lunge towards Ivory when she lost the feeling in her left leg. Ivory laughed and walked towards Kora who's laying on the ground, can't even move or even speak.

Ivory kicked the former queenside and turned to face Kharis. "I win..." Kharis jumped off the Royal seater and went to her wife. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!" "Relax. It's just a paralyse potion. It will wear off in a couple of minutes.

"You and your dirty tricks!" Kharis yelled. Ivory smiled and gave her mate a flying kiss before walking towards the gates.

Ivory was walking down the Akeldama palace alone when Kora grabbed her by the neck and dragged her towards a room. Ivory struggled in Kora's arms and Kora pushed her towards a couch.

"Such treatment.." Ivory said between the breath. Kharis made herself known and face the queen. "Why are you wandering around alone?!" Kharis asked. Ivory made herself comfortable and smiled.

"I'm just walking. Violeta said she's going to meet her mother's." Kharis scoffed. Ivory laughed. "Still angry because I beat your wife?" Kharis turned away and went to sit on a chair.

"Don't... She's not in a very good mood." Ivory shrugged. Kora watched how Ivory acted in front of her. "Why do you want to be in the academy?" "I want to learn." Kora sighed.

"You do know in that academy, the majority of them and their parents is your enemy. I repeat, majority.." Ivory looked at Kora's face weirdly. What is the point of this meeting? Ivory wonder to herself.

"So? I can easily kill them all.." Kora sighed. "You can't simply kill everyone." "Of course I can. I'm the queen." Kharis shaking her head. She knew it's useless to talk to this wild vampire.

"With all due respect your highness, this is queen Thana's jurisdiction. You're not allowed to punished or killed anyone outside of your territory. Except if Queen Thana presence." Kora explained the rules to Ivory.

"That sucks. So what am I suppose to do when I'm being attacked?" "Then you can protect yourself. Just don't kill. So back to my first question, what's the real purpose your entering the academy?" Kora asked.

"We know it's not because you're worried about Violeta 24/7. She's a big girl. And you know she can fight her own battle. Tell us.." Kharis gave Ivory a loving smile.

"It's because of something Satan said to me. I want to learn something I guess. Something the Royal tutor forgot to teach me..." Kora turned to Kharis. "And what will that be?" Kharis asked

"Friendship..."

"Welcome to the academy," Violeta said as she parked her car at the Royal parking space. Ivory looked outside. It's not like what she imagined. This place was... Amazing!

"Why are you dressing like that?" Violeta asked when Ivory put on her head scarfs to cover her face except for her eyes and nose. "Since your great grandmother said there will be a lot of my enemies kid in here."

Ivory tied up the scarf. "I need to cover my identity until it's time." "So what should I say about you?" Violeta asked. "Just say I'm you mate and my name is Ivory. Don't tell them my last name." 

"But then nobody will know you're a queen..." "It's fine. Like I said. In time they will know...." Violeta went out followed by Ivory. Every creature in the parking lot turned to Violeta.

By now the whole realm knows she works for Satan. The person who's responsible for so many death was one of their classmates. Some glared. Some despise her. But most of them wonder who's the mysterious figure next to her.

Violeta offered her hand and Ivory wrapped her arms around Violeta waist. They both walked in the school building and went to the administration office for their schedule.

Violeta rang the bell and waited. "Yes.." Violeta smiled. "I'm sure my mother informed you about us..." The old woman looked at them both. "Princess Violeta... And Ivory.." Ivory didn't like it when they call her without any recognition.

Violeta kept a firm hold on her mates waist. "Your class schedule and training time.." "Training?" Ivory asked. "It's compulsory for every student to be in that class. Even if we're skill fighter."

Ivory nodded. Violeta thanked the woman and went to her first class. "Witchcraft. History, transformation, creatures and humanoid class, etiquette class and even healer class?" Ivory asked Violeta.

"Why? No good?" Ivory shakes her head. "It's just I know about all of these things.." Violeta chuckled. "I don't... I've been in hell for years.." Ivory sighed. She hates the feeling of knowing her mate facing a lot of danger while working for that bastard.

"I'll think of something... I promise." Violeta smiled and kissed Ivory's nose. They both entered a lair like room. Violeta chooses the back table and they both waited for everyone else.

Ivory looked around. She recognised everything in this room. This person was practising dark magic. Almost everything in this room associate with the dark arts.

The other creatures starting to fill the room and again they all wonder who's next to Violeta. Lilin, the famous succubus entered the room. She's known as a heartthrob and simply a person who will sweep every creature with just her eyes.

Then she will suck the life out of the person she's with while having s*x. She can control her power but it's dangerous to have s*x with a succubus except for her mate.

Lilin looked around and winked at every creature. Man and woman. Suddenly her eyes landed on the familiar figure at the back of the room. "Look who's finally came back.." Lilin moved some of her blonde hair from her face.

"It's a Violeta. The white hair beauty... Looks like you shave you left side.. Why?" Violeta looked at her best friend. "Hey, Lilin.." Lilin smiled. "Hey, Vi.."

Lilin looked at the person next o her best friend. "Who's the woman...?" Lilin leaned in. "She has so much power. I never feel so much energy in a vampire before... Well except meeting the queen.." Violeta chuckled.

"She's my mate... Ivory... This is my best friend. Well, the only one. Lilin." "And no I do not have the last name. Since I was born from many other men." Ivory nodded.

"GET BACK TO YOUR SIT LILIN!" A woman yelled as she walked into the room. "Bitch.." Lilin said under her breath. Lilin went to an empty seat next to Ivory. Ivory watched as another woman entered the room.

These woman look alike but the one who just entered filled with positive energy. She must be a white witch. Ivory said to herself. The perfect combination of yin and yang.

The black hair witch introduces herself to the class. "My name is Althera. And this is my sister, Athena. We're the Zulga sisters." By now Ivory finally understand the combinations.

The Zulga sisters were famous for being a conjurer and necromancer. Legend says Athena has the power to wipe every creature from its existing and the only person who can control her was her sister, Althera the black witch.

"It seems like we have a new student joining us.." Althera looked at the charts. "Ivory?" Ivory held her hand up. "Welcome.." "Welcome back Violeta.." Athena greeted Violeta. Violeta smiled.

The class began when Althera showed them how to do the correct voodoo ritual. Ivory was oddly paying attention. She always so fascinated by the dark arts.

She had the trouble to stay put in her seat and was this close to telling the witches that they did something wrong. Violeta was having a hard time to put her still in her seat.

"Babe... Relax... Remember your promise to mom.." Ivory nodded. Violeta noticed how Ivory's eyes changed from the bluest orbs to red in seconds when Althera say some spells under her breath.

Violeta was relieved when the class was over. Lilin laughed when the witches exiting the classroom. "Man your mate is one crazy lady.." Ivory turned to Lilin. "What do you mean by that?" Lilin chuckled.

"You were this close to saying something to the Zulga sisters. I was waiting for you to explore.." Lilin chuckled and bid her goodbyes. "Mama needs to feed on some werewolves.."

Violeta shakes her head and proceeds to the next class. "History?" Ivory asked when they entered a classroom. Violeta nodded and once again they choose the back table.

Students began to fill the class and an old man entered the classroom. "I am Mr Gavin. I will be your history teacher for this year. And for today's topic, we will learn about the Constantine kingdom, also known as the evilest and ruthless ruling for centuries.."

Violeta's eyes widen and turned to Ivory who's playing with one of her pencils. "Before I forget. We have a new student. Ivory." Ivory held her hand up. "Hmmm... Ivory..." Mr Gavin chuckled.

"Queen? I thought you said the kingdom was the evilest and ruthless. I thought a King would be ruling that country." One of the students asked. Mr Gavin pushed his brown hair back.

"Trust me when I say the queen is evil and ruthless." Ivory leaned back and crossed her hands. She's excited to know what this so call educator to know about her.

Mr Gavin turned to the shelf and took out a book. He grabbed a chart and hang it up on the board so everyone could see. Ivory watched as Mr Gavin showed everyone her family tree.

"King Karlos and Queen Zilvia of Constantine was known as the most notable royalty in this realm." Mr Gavin hangs Ivory's parent's picture on the board. Ivory smiled a little when she saw her parents.

"They have a prince and a princess. Prince Neron of Constantine and Princess Ivory of Constantine." Ivory scoffed when they showed her dead brothers picture. But when Mr Gavin showed Princess Ivory's picture, everyone gasped.

"She's beautiful." One of the students said. "Yea. She will be a good wife to me." Everyone laughed. "Dream on!" Mr Gavin clapped his hand to control his student. "Don't be fool.. She's the most talented vampire ever."

Ivory made herself comfortable and put her chin on her hand. "Talented? She's just a princess.." One of the future alpha said. "Yea. She must stay in her chamber every day and being lazy like a princess." Mr Gavin started to laugh.

"Oh, you poor boy. She's a queen now.." Mr Gavin showed a portrait of Ivory wearing her crown jewel and hang it up. "The ruler of the Kingdom of Constantine. Known as the most heroic and strongest vampire royalty after the Akeldama's."

Ivory cleared her throat and turned to Violeta. "I'm curious about what he will say." Ivory said and turned to the board again. Violeta too wants to know about her mate more.

Why does Ivory know as the evilest of them all?
