Azura's PoV
I looked at Dad's mansion, and I'm still sad that I can't be with them. I used my power to make the house a different color. In this mansion, I also built a barrier that no one could see through.
I want this place to be a memory for me before going to the demon world; I will avenge them, Mom and Dad. I promise I will avenge both of your deaths.
When I finished constructing that invisible barrier, and there appeared to be no mansion there, I looked around and noticed that there weren't many houses with Dad's estate. So I used my strength to move a pebble.
It stuck to the barrier I built, and I used electricity to make sure no one could get in. Then, finally, I approached Zero and smiled at him.
"Can you keep a smile on your face even when you're sad?" He asked, and I stop walking.
"I don't know, Zero, but I have to do it, come on," I said, and when we were out of there, I saw the portal we had recently entered.
"Goodbye, Mom and Dad. I hope you two are happy together in heaven," I said quietly to myself as we entered the portal. When we entered, I heard the sounds of various creatures.
"Where are we going now?" Zero inquired.
"Just follow me," I said, and he did, and we were going to hold hands now.
When we arrived at the open area, I smiled. I'll build my palace. I don't want others to see me as weak. Instead, I want them to know that Feax's daughter is strong.
"What are your plans, Azura?" When Zero asked, I let go of his hand and stood here in the middle, using my power to construct a palace.
"What are you doing, Azura?! That is so wrong!" Zero yelled, but I didn't listen because I felt the intense power I inherited from my father.
I cried because I was hurt, and I felt my numbness but didn't give up until I finished building the palace. Then, finally, I got down on my knees and chased my breath despite knowing I was immortal.
"Azura, are you all right?" Zero questioned, and I nodded.
"Let's go into our palace," I said, standing up as we entered. I built a beautiful palace, but I lack the tools required to create with my power.
Zero stopped me when I was about to use my power again.
"You need to rest first before you can do your things for the palace," he said, so I did nothing.
"You're right, Zero. Let's take a tour of the palace first," I said, and he nodded.
As we walked around the palace, I couldn't help but smile at the beauty of the castle I had built, but why do I have the feeling of sadness and that I will be left here alone?
"I'm sensing something," he says. I was surprised by what Zero said, so I removed my insinuation first, and I also focused on whether or not something was about to happen.
Zero transformed into his wolf and was ready to fight right away, whereas I felt good if they entered my palace right away. I was surprised to see white, blue, green, and yellow smoke in front of us.
"Greetings, our lord." I was surprised because four men approached me and immediately knelt; Zero would have attacked if I hadn't stopped him.
"Who are you? And what brings you to my palace?" When I asked, they abruptly raised their hands as if they were seeking permission from me.
I examined their palms; the first had a snake tattoo, the other had a dragon tattoo, and the third had a fox tattoo? My brow continued to play the part.
The last tattoo I saw was a phoenix. I was astonished; what were they doing here, and why did they address me as a master?
"I'm not sure why you called me master; could you explain?" They stood up when I said it modestly.
"I'll explain," the blue-clad individual said.
"We are the four beasts, we have that much power since we were born, and your father gave you the connection," My father? But he didn't say anything to me before leaving.
"Dad didn't say anything, so just introduce yourselves," I said.
"With pleasure," the blue-clad individual said.
"My name is Gabriel Trizene, and I'm a Snake beast. I have wind and electricity power." He was the one who introduced me to.
"My name is Skyler Emtre. I'm a Dragon beast. But, except for you, master, my power is water, and I can turn those who look into my eyes into stone," he said to me, and I looked into his eyes, and it was the dragon's eyes that were already with him.
"Medusa?" When I made a joke, Gabriel burst out laughing.
"My name is Jeff Switzer. I'm a Fox monster. My strength is my power," He stated. How powerful is that?
"How powerful are you? Try it with Zero," I said, and Zero dashed at him, but he quickly stopped Zero and lifted him.
"Are you able to do it to me?" I said and looked at him, but he was just scared.
"My name is Zach Castillo. I am a Phoenix beast. I have no death, but if I give my life to someone like you, I will perish, but my soul will not go to heaven," He told me, and I became sad because we were the same.
"I don't want you to betray me if you're my four beasts," I said, and they put their hands on their chests as a sign of trust.
"You can make a blood contract; if we betray each other, we will all suffer," Gabriel said as I approached them.
"It's simple. Just come to me one by one," I told the four beasts, and the first to do so was Gabriel.
I extended my hand, and he opened it as well. I took my dagger after shaking hands with him, and I placed it between our hands.
I quickly cut our palms together, it glowed, and I felt instantly connected to him.
"Next," I said, and Skyler came over to me. I did the same thing I did earlier when he cut his hand, and he shook my hand.
When Zach finished, Jeff followed, and when he finished, they knelt in front of me, and Zero approached me, looking like a human form. I just passed them after concealing the cut on my palm.
"Are you sure you're not going to order us?" Skyler inquired.
"Nothing yet. I need to rest. Maybe tonight I'll tell you the plan I'm going to make," I said, and I waited for the four beasts to respond.
"We will follow your order, master." I laughed at what they all said.
"Just call me My Lady," I said, and they didn't say anything as we climbed to the top, Zero and I still wandering around.
"Can we rely on them?" Zero asked me if I could trust them because they said I was their master, and we just kept walking.
"OK, you take care as long as I'm just here for you. How did you learn about your blood contract?" He even asked about me.
"I've read a lot about being immortal, I can take as many beasts as I want, and I can also consume their powers when I need to," I told him.
"That's why you know how to build a palace," he said to me, and I nodded. I came to a halt when I felt his hand on my shoulder.
"Will you also tell them that I'm the one you're seeking for?" He questioned.
"Yes, I will say it, but they don't seem to understand the word love," I explained.
"They know that because I feel like they have parents as well," he explained.
"You are correct. Maybe the four beasts are aware as well, so let's tell them," I said, and Zero kissed me on the cheek.
When Zero and I returned from our palace tour, I noticed the four people in their knelt but talking.
"Why are you not still moving there? Do I need to tell you to get moving?" They were taken aback when I told them.
"We don't know. All you said was wait for a break and tell us your plan," Skyler responded to my question.
"Is that so? OK, I'll tell you right now that you can walk around the palace, that you're free to move on your own two feet," I told them, and I would have left again if Skyler had said anything else.
"Is that all?" he asked.
"You can do whatever you want, like training or going out of the palace to roam," I told them, and they looked at each other.
"We won't be able to roam because we only need four of us by your side," Gabriel said.
"Is that so? OK, you take care of it," I informed them and proceeded to the living room to see what I would do in my palace.
I also considered the name of my palace, Feax Kingdom. So, naturally, no one, including King Sander, a traitor, is permitted to enter.
"Do you want me to buy a bed before you go to sleep?" Zero inquired, and I shook my head, laying down on the floor.
"Are you certain you're going to lie down there?" What if your four beasts believe you have that attitude?" I laughed as he said, I don't care what they think.
"I don't know what they think, but as long as you're here in my palace, you're free to do whatever you want," I told him, and he agreed.
"Will you hire assistants and soldiers here?" He asked if I was going to do that when I'm looking for soldiers and helpers.
"Do you require assistance in finding soldiers?" When I heard Jeff's voice, he smiled at me.
"You can also help; perhaps you can post everywhere in the demon world that I need a lot of soldiers," I mentioned.
"Sure, My Lady," he replied, and the four pushed each other because I told Jeff a mission and the others not.
"Gabriel, Skyler, and Zach will do the same," I said, and they yelled in response, so I just smiled.
"I move faster than you, Foxy," Skyler teased, and I awoke.
"It's not like you need to race to finish; when I say something, you just do it, do you understand?" I said, and they bowed and put their hand on their chest at the same time.
"Of course, My Lady!" I would have gone back to lay down I had sensed the presence of a mortal?!
I walked out of the palace and saw a boy becoming ill, so I helped him.
"Why is there a mortal in this place? How on earth did he get in?!" When Zero asked me, I noticed the wound on his head and picked him up.
"I'm not sure how he got here, either, but we have to help him!" I said this as we returned to the palace, and I was about to form a lining when Jeff did that.
"What happened? How did a mortal end up in the demon world?" I tried to heal the boy's wound, but I couldn't.
"Why can't he be treated? What's going on?" I said, and I saw that the boy was hurting, so I was even more nervous.
"I'll try," Jeff said, pulling something green from his hand like a plant and placing it on the wounded child's head.
"I'm not sure if I can cure him. My healing powers are only for foxes like me," Jeff said as the boy opened his eyes.
He yelled as if he was doing something else, but I was about to touch him when he abruptly changed his appearance, and Zero pulled me away, and we all backed away.
Skyler blocked, and he formed a barrier. I saw the child grin, and his body exploded, and his blood dripped, and I was shocked. I tapped Skyler on the shoulder after a piece of paper fell there.
"Remove the barrier," I said, and he did. So I went there and took the paper, which said 'moriras,' so I laughed.
"Is this some joke? I'm not afraid of death." It's Sander, I'm sure; he was the mastermind behind this. I immediately burned the paper.
Even if he sends something like this, I won't be afraid; I'm not like Mom; I need to be strong so that I can truly defeat him, and I don't want him to live in this universe again.
"Do we need to track down the person who wants to kill you?" Skyler asked.
"No worries, Skyler. I've got a better plan for him. Do your job at night to post a job posting." I turned around and said.
When it comes to mortals, I feel sorry for them; it's just an innocent boy. He just killed and used it as material.
"Azura, take a break," Zero said, and I nodded.
"Let's go up there on the roof," I recommended, and he took my hand in his.
"Are you two in a relationship?" Gabriel asked unexpectedly, so Zero and I exchanged glances.
"Yes, I'm sorry if I didn't say I was just about to say it tomorrow," I explained.
"It's all right, my lady; you can rest now," Gabriel said.
