Immortal 2 #36

Sander's PoV   I chuckled as I walked because I felt I could regain control of Azura; I assumed she was alone now, but she wasn't constantly with her four beasts.   Azura has completed his training, which means she is always in the palace. I may attack at any time and day, but not yet since I have a power structure in place and the name there is imprisonment.   I'll lock Azura again and create the illusion of Zero to get closer to him. I'll be foolish again, not letting the speaker have my fantasy because she could realize it's no longer Zero.   "King Sander, everything you need is ready," Aserious said to me, and he brought two men but are they compatible with protecting me?   "Do you know what you entered? Show me your powers," I said to the two men.   I'm not sure what they are, but they appear to be two wizards; does the power of the wizard matter? I laughed because I saw how little power they showed me.   "Kill them both Aserious, those are garbage," I said and turned around. I heard them begging me not to kill them.   That noise had already been made, and I sat down first; Azura was difficult to manage while she was among the four beasts, and I needed to find a means to ensure she was alone. I breathed deeply and closed my eyes, shocked to find myself unable to move.   "Do you believe you have the authority to dominate me? I can also control you!" When I heard Azura's words, I used my powerful might to break free from her grip.   "You little!" I grumbled and stood up from my chair.     I was correct in my suspicion that we possessed the same power when it came to immortality since I taught Caex all of the power I kept as an immortal. But the question is whether she will be able to control the monster within her body.   Azura's PoV   Sander believed that he only had the right to dominate me. I could control him as well! He had no idea we have the same power as an immortal.   "Are you OK, sis?" Jaja and she set the tea in front of me? Wait, she made it?   "Did you made this?" I asked Jaja, and she promptly nodded.   "Thanks, Jaja; this tea you made for me tastes delicious!" I said to Jaja and sipped it. Jaja's tea can make your mind calm when you are overthinking.   I rested my head on the back of my chair and closed my eyes; however, I heard someone fall on the stairs and immediately opened my eyes to see Jeff and Zach fighting.   "What exactly are you doing? Why the both of you are still playing? Both of you are grown-up adults!" Jeff and Zach stood up when I started to speak.   "I'm sorry, my lady, we will not do that again," Jeff remarked as I noticed Zero approaching from the back of the palace, passing along the side of the hallway down here.   "Where have you been?" I asked of Zero.   "I merely did something in the back," Zero explained, and I sipped again on my tea because it hadn't yet gone.   "What did you do there?" I asked Zero while sipping my tea.   "Just look at something," Zero said, which irritated me.   "What did you take a look at? Birds? Rats?" When I told Zero, he laughed.   "Why are you laughing?" I told Zero, and he stopped immediately.   "Is this tea for headaches, Jaja?" When I asked Jaja, she shook her head.     "Nothing! You're the only one who's hot-headed," Jaja told me, so I just rested intensely.   "Join me in the ocean's tribe; I'll just need to talk to someone there," I told Jaja, who smiled.   "Are you sure?!" Jaja even questioned me.   "Yeah, so get ready," I said to Jaja, and her smile grew even more comprehensive.   When I got back to my room and glanced in the mirror, I realized that my stomach was expanding slowly. This means I'm bringing a wolf who is Zero's offspring; perhaps after the fight, I'll inform Zero I'm pregnant.   I removed my clothes and put on my cape, and as I opened the door, Zero greeted me.   "Be careful," Zero suddenly hugged me, and I hugged him back.   "Yes, I'll be careful there," I said to Zero, and as he let go of my hug, he kissed me on the lips and then on the forehead.   I went downstairs and spotted Jaja wearing a cape, but it was gray on her; I went down with Jaja and held her hand.   "We're departing first, four beasts," I said, and I noticed that they bowed in respect to me.   We exited the palace, and as we were leaving, I confronted Jaja.   "Jaja, let's teleport. You might be surprised," I said to Jaja. She shook her head.   "Of course not," Jaja said, and we teleported to the ocean's tribe.   So I'll tell King Ethur to teach Jaja mermaid power to make Jaja focus more on mermaid power than demon power. I'm sure she won't be chosen as a witch with demon power.   When we arrived, I showed the shells I was clutching, which King Ethur had given me when I arrived.   "Good evening, Azura. What do you require, and are you back?" Queen Dyise inquired.   "I've come to speak with King Ethur. I have a special favor for him," I responded, and Jaja and I entered right away.   They had no idea Jaja was a witch. Still, it was probably acceptable for me to let her into the ocean's castle because she provided us bubbles in our heads so we could breathe. When we entered, the king was surprised to see us, and he also looked at my companion Jaja.   "What can I do for you, Azura?" King Ethur asks.   "I would have asked for help," I told King Ethur, and I grabbed Jaja's hand and faced them.   "What does a witch need?" Jaja was asked by King Ethur.   "And I assumed you'd talk to them?" Jaja asked me, and I knelt in front of King Ethur.   "Jaja, I want you to study mermaid power. I know you can study it more thoroughly than demon power," King Ethur was astonished when I told Jaja.   "It's fine for me to study mermaid's abilities; how long will I be here?" Jaja inquired of me.   "Can Jaja learn here with mermaid strength despite being a witch?" I asked King Ethur.   "It's OK to learn mermaid power; it's because she still doesn't understand much about a witch's power," King Ethur said.   "Does that mean she can start tomorrow?" I asked King Ethur about Jaja's training.   "Yes, Jaja can begin, and she will reside here while she learns," King Ethur responded, surprising Jaja.   "Sis, I'm terrified because males are staring at me," Jaja said.   "Don't worry, Jaja, the mermaids and mermen are nice here; just remember Skyler will scare them when they do something terrible to you," I said to Jaja.   "If only Skyler could be called like you are doing, but I'm not his master," Jaja told me, and I laughed.   "But Skyler wants you," I said to Jaja, and her cheek flushed.   "Don't try to tease me, sis!" I laughed because Jaja told me.   I said farewell to Jaja and hugged her before leaving, and when I walked out of the ocean's palace, I was instantly sad. But I can't be sad because Jaja's life must need to go well.   Even though the witch's palace is no longer in the demon realm, Sam and I need to start rebuilding their tribe, so I teleported back to the palace and saw Sam on the rooftop once more.   When I arrived, Sam was taken aback.   "You don't want to eat? You were still here the day before," I told Sam.   "Azura, please accept my apologies. I'm still struggling to grasp what occurred, but don't worry, I'm fine," Sam informed me.   "I'm simply worried about you," I told Sam, smiling at her.   "Jaja is going to study in the tribe of the ocean. Today, I brought her there myself," Sam was taken aback when I told her.   "So, Jaja agreed? All I know is that she desires demon power or so-called spells learned from witch texts," Sam informed me.   "I warned Jaja that demon power is difficult to wield since it just chooses who has the right to use it," I explained, and Sam nodded.   "You're right! You told Jaja well so she can think things through," Sam said to me; I know that Jaja is bright, I'm not mistaken.   "When I'm with Jaja, she seems smart, like when she's silent but seething underneath," I told Sam, and she laughed.   "And for you is you are also smart and silent, but your anger to Sander cannot be changed; I'll help you kill him for what he did to the witches' tribe," Sam said, and I smiled.   "OK, do you want me to teach you? We still have a lot of time in this world, and you can still work hard to get stronger," I informed Sam.   "I agree with what you're saying, "Sam said.   A month later, Sam discovered that I could strengthen her; a month after, Sander didn't have any presence, but I get the impression that he was preparing something with me and had already prepared everything for our next fight.   "Are you thinking deeply?" Sam told me that I was sitting here on the floor, and she was already sitting. We are out here now after we just finished practicing with the sword.   "I think Sander didn't even have any presence for a month that he was planning something for me," I informed Sam.   "That can affect your child if you think about it more deeply," Sam Stated to me.   I'm also a month pregnant, and I haven't informed Zero yet because I want to say it once my war with Sander is finished and I've exacted my retribution.   "It's OK, I'm not frightened to Sander, and I'm not overthinking about it because I know it will harm our son," I said to Sam, touching my stomach.   "Don't let Zero know when he realizes that you're not going to continue taking retribution," Sam urged me as she stood up.   When I stood up to enter the palace, I noticed Zero sitting on the sofa, evidently waiting for me.   "Are you done with your practice?" Zero asked.     "Yes, it's over. I'm going to rest," I said to Zero, and I was about to leave when Zero joined me.   "Come with me," Zero said, and when I came to my room, I went straight to bed while he sat on the bed.   "Wake me up late at night," I whispered to Zero, taking his hand in mine.   "Yes, I'll wake you, go to sleep, and rest," he added, and I smiled.   I closed my eyes to sleep, but I was astonished to find myself back in a dark location with no light.   I believe I am the only one here, and it appears like I am alone. I walked but was astonished to feel water every time I walked. When I looked down at my chin, I noticed that my foot was bleeding and assumed it was from water.   I was about to scream when I felt something move inside of me, and when I opened my eyes, it was Zero who had woken me up. I awoke with a start and grasped my head because I was in pain.   "You appear to be starving. Would you like to bring me here some food? "Zero said to me.   Zero arrived with two foods, he placed them on the bed, and I ate them right away.   When Zero arrived with two foods on the tray, he placed them on the bed, and I immediately ate them.   "It's clear you're starving," Zero said, and I gave him a sour look.   "What if I'm starving?" That's why I'm so hungry, I told Zero, since our son is already hungry inside my stomach.   I need to eat a lot of nutritious food for our son, which I happily informed the helpers here.   They stated they wouldn't fuss over my pregnancy, which the four beasts were also aware of. I warned them not to slip when talking to Zero, especially since I was the one being discussed.   "It's a good thing Sander isn't controlling you right now; our lives have been calm for a month. I'm not sure whether he has any intentions," Zero spoke up, and I sipped the water that was nearby.   "I'm sure he has plans now, which is why he hasn't hinted in a month," I informed Zero.   "How come he didn't give any presence?" Zero asked me.   "Because he genuinely intends to capture or murder me, Sander has devised a strategy. I'm not sure which of those two he'll do, but we need to be prepared no matter what time," I told Zero, and he took my hand in his.   "Don't worry, I'm ready every day; even if I'm only a werewolf, I'll keep an eye on you," Zero said, and I grinned.   "I'll keep an eye on you. I won't abandon you," I said as I held to Zero's hand.   "When you already kill him, let me go. I will have reincarnation when I die," Zero told me, and I was shocked.   "What if you didn't come back quickly? I will be sad in my whole life, Zero," I said to Zero, and I remove my clinging to him.   "If you are gone, I will follow you," I told him, and he motioned me to face him.   "Don't you dare do that? I will not forgive you if you do that," he said to me, and I bite my lips.     "But…"   "Azura, listen to me. Your family wants you to be happy and not to be like them, and they wish for that so make it come true for them even though they're not here," Zero said to me, and my tears once fall again.   **
