Immortal 2 #29

Zach's PoV   Azura sent us back to the palace first to say goodbye to the servants and put on double protection. The elves' homes are also reported to be double-protected.   "I still can't believe Sander tried to manipulate my lady," Jeff said as he adjusted his suit in preparation for our clash with Sander's servants.   "My lady didn't hesitate either; she was certain of her command to kill Sander's servants," I replied to Jeff, and he nodded.   We walked out to protect the palace after Gabriel said goodbye, and the barrier that Azura had built was still there. We only added that to make it more powerful; we went to the elf houses, and they were astonished to see us.   "What brings you here? What are your plans?" Jae asked me and wondering.   "My lady ordered us to build double protection on your houses, but I will also tell you to take care of killing when an enemy comes," I told Jae.   "If that's what you want, we'll take care of Miss Azura's palace," Jae said, and the three of them approached me after we finished putting up the double barrier.   "I'm ready to go," Jeff said, and I smiled as we teleported to Sander's world.   When we arrived, we transformed into our beast forms and proceeded to Sander's palace, where we couldn't feel Sander's presence.   "Can you tell me who you are?" When two women yelled, I went down and drew my sword.   The three of us also went down and pulled our swords; we didn't say anything and assaulted the two young women. Is Sander's servant truly this weak? They appear feeble to protect their monarch, but they can't murder us, and it's a good thing Sander is not here.   "Hector, we're being attacked by beasts!" When a woman yelled, I approached her and chopped her hand; she was taken aback by the pace of events.   When you don't focus on your opponent, you will die. I grinned because it yelled out in excruciating pain. It appears that no regeneration is taking place, and these two are just witches.   "Who are you ?! What did you do!" When a man shouted, it was probably what they called Hector.   That man was about to approach me when Jeff sprinted towards him and passed him at the speed of Jeff's kick.   When I approached him after he spewed, he vomited a lot of blood and looked at me. I raised my blade to sever his head, and he was taken aback by what I was about to do.   He hurled something at me, and I laughed; he thought the poison would work on me? I promptly severed his head and smeared his blood all over my face.   "Nice one, Zach, you killed two," Skyler shouted to me, and when I looked at the woman whose hand I had severed, she was also dead, and the floor was splattered with blood.   "You beasts! You will regret what you did to us! King Sander will kill you when he finds out!" The woman said that she was a bit tall but looked young.   "If that's what he can do since Azura told us to kill you," Skyler answered as he choked the lady, looked her in the eyes, and the woman instantly turned to stone.   Skyler laughed as he smashed the stone woman; it appeared that Sander's servants are three, only we need to go back to the palace now. There is no one defending their palace anymore, and I believe the palace has a formidable barrier.   Sander's servants are ignorant; they didn't know what to do when they saw us; I hope they hid, and we cannot pass through the barrier. I'm not sure where Sander picks those servants.   We departed and returned to the demon world; when we arrived, nothing happened; I was hungry; perhaps we should catch food later.   Azura's PoV "The beasts reported to me that they killed Sander's servants already," I told Zero as I escorted him out of the wizard's palace.   "Are you certain you don't want me to take you to my palace?" I asked Zero, concerned that I had ordered the four beasts to s*******r Sander's servants.   "It's okay, I'll run fast, don't worry about me if I get lost, I'll make sure to make a way just to get back," Zero said, and I immediately hugged him.   "Are you certain? I'm concerned about you!" I told Zero, and he let go of my hand when he hugged me after kissing my forehead.   "Azura, I'm not going to leave you. Remember that since we still have a lot to perform once you finish training, don't we? Let's go on a date, shall we?" Zero told me, and I smiled back.   "Yes, we're going to date; you want us to date in the mortal world," I said to Zero, to which he laughed.   "Anywhere is fine with me as long as you're pleased, and I'm happy to be with you," Zero said.   Zero has left, and while he is leaving, I feel terrified now. We are also leaving to go to a place where I will train.   I went back inside the wizard's palace. Leonard and Dancvil were waiting for me inside the wizard's palace.   "Are you prepared?" Leonard asked me, and I nodded. I was shocked when Dancvil constructed the portal. Where are we going?   "You don't know this place yet, so it's a bit dangerous. We're going to the world of vampires," Dancvil told me. I know that world.   "I know that world. Who says I don't know?" I asked Dancvil, and he pointed to Leonard.   "I assumed you hadn't been there yet," Leonard said as we entered the portal Dancvil had created. I'm sure Dancvil was strong as well.   I just followed the two, they were also chatting, but I didn't listen. I've been here before to the vampire world, but I didn't last long either.   "Here we are!" I heard Leonard say, and I looked at the place where we had a name on this place.   "Wizard's Akaze Hidden Place," I said, and we went in.   Is it possible that if Dancvil owns it since he's the vampire here, there are wizards as well? When we stepped inside, I was startled to see a pure sword, so I was amazed at the beautiful design I saw, the others had light, and it seemed to have power.   "Every sword here has special abilities. Therefore I brought you here because I knew you were prepared to fight," Leonard said to me.   "You deserve a strong sword, Azura," Leonard said, and I went to get mine.   I'm unsure how to choose; perhaps I'll go by its power and strength; I instantly felt strong power and could hear it sounding.   I followed it to where it would lead me and came across a black sword with red and blue covers; I was astonished when the sword suddenly approached me.   "Is that a Daiyi Sword?" Leonard said, and as I touched it again, I felt a surge of strength. I'm convinced we have some connection.   "I feel that this sword is for me," I said to Leonard, and it vanished as I implanted it into my body with my power.   "It appears you have a connection; the sword you seized is capable of killing vampires, werewolves, immortals, demons, beasts, monsters, and wizards like us," Leonard explained.   "Does that indicate the weapon I got is extremely powerful?" I asked Leonard and Dancvil, and they nodded.   "A wizard formerly wielded that blade, but she's no longer alive," Dancvil said to me.   "She knows I have his sword, so I will preserve it and not destroy it," I told them, and we decided to head out.   "Do you wish to go home, or will you test the wizard's power? You are aware of this, aren't you?" Leonard asked me while I was wielding the Daiyi sword.   "Yes, I know everything. Maybe that's all I know about wizard power because I might be overpowered," I told Leonard while looking at the Daiyi sword.   "Thank you, Azura, and you taught my other students," Leonard said.   "You don't want me to give them a lesson in the next few days," I joked to Leonard, and he laughed along with me.   "You do not need to do it because you need to leave? You still have a lot of work to do," Leonard informed me.   "Yeah, I'll still fight my opponent, and then I'll date Zero," I rubbed my neck.   "However, if you need assistance, how am I going to call you? Or how will you call me?" As I was contemplating, I said something, and Leonard gave me something unexpected.   "Use this when you need help," Leonard said, passing out a lighter.   "Do you smoke?" I asked Leonard.   "Just open it, and I'll be right on my way," Leonard said, and I laughed.   "You know I'm strong, but I'll still accept; I'll offer you a feather of mine," I said to Leonard, pulling a crimson feather from my hand with my strength.   "How do I use it?" Leonard asked.   "You just blow it, and I'll be right there," I instructed Leonard, and he concealed it in his pocket.   "We have to get out of here," Leonard said.   We'd returned to the demon world, and when we got there, Leonard noticed that I'd stopped walking.   "I have to get back to my palace," I said to Leonard and Dancvil.   "Are you not going to have dinner at wizard's palace?" I shook my head when Leonard asked.   "No need, maybe because I ordered my four beasts to kill someone. Maybe Sander would suddenly come to my palace and kill me immediately," I replied to Leonard.   "Because you learn so quickly, you must be careful, even if we've only been with you for a short time. Remember that you're not like the other immortals I've met." I was astonished when Leonard told me.   "All right, go home. You have good friends waiting for you," Leonard told me, so I smiled.   Leonard was referring to my four beasts, and when I turned around, I was dressed differently. I wore my hood and was transported to my palace.   When I first arrived at the palace, I noticed the double barrier in my section. Fortunately, the four beasts were powerful, so I went inside and was welcomed by the guard.   I noticed Zero on the rooftop; he was sitting there, evidently waiting for someone. Did he know I was returning? I'm confident he's waiting for me.   I teleported to the rooftop and was shocked when I floated in front of Zero; he smiled and came down as he sat down and backed away a little.   I instantly walked down and hugged Zero.   "I know you'll be back when I leave early, and I'm glad your training went well," Zero said, and I smiled.   "I'm also glad because I'm prepared to battle Sander," I said to Zero.   We were about to enter the palace when I noticed four beasts knelt at the same time.   "We were able to avenge you, my lady," Zach said to me.   "Good, because when Sander arrives here, I'll make sure he's going to be next to be killed," I added.   Why am I now feeling this way? I'm suddenly unhappy because I don't feel like I've trained enough. And will Zero still be here after this struggle is over?   "Are you all right?" Zero asked me.   "I was wondering if you'd still be here when this conflict was ended," I asked Zero.   "You mean this?" Zero pointed to the cursed ring.   "I also don't want to stress us out for the rest of our life because of this cursed ring; I want you to take it off after Sander's death and when you are done fighting," Zero told me, surprising me.   "That is not something I want to do! What if you're completely lost? How am I suppose what to forget you?" When I said to Zero, Zero kissed my cheek.   "Can you wait for me?" Zero asked, implying that I would wait for him to resurrect. I will not be like my father, who lost my mother and waited for her to return.   "Don't worry; I'll be right back," Zero said as he nodded.   "I'm willing as long as we make memories," I told Zero, and he hugged me.   "We're going to do it now, aren't we? When you finish training, we'll go on a date, won't we? We'll go on a date tomorrow," Zero told me, and I smiled.   "Do you not want it tonight?" Zero was taken aback when I told him.   "Night stroll?" I nodded when Zero asked.   "Let's go!" Zero murmured to me, and he stretches his hand for me to hold it. I grabbed Zero's hand in mine, and we said our goodbyes to the four beasts we'd be leaving for a short time. Zero and I went outside and just strolled until we were out of my palace.   "Tell me everything how relieved you are that your training is over," Zero said to me, and I stared at him.   We proceeded to a waterfall location, where I sat, and he sat as well. I took a deep breath to ready myself for what I was about to say.   "That's what I thought when I already kill Sander and when I lost you," I told Zero.   "Even if I vanish, you will be happy because you consciously give me a child," Zero said, making my cheeks flush.   I diverted my gaze from him, and he massaged my hand.   "Don't be embarrassed if we talk about s*x; there's nothing to be ashamed of," Zero said.   "My heart is racing," I told Zero as I clutched my chest.   "That's it because you love me so much, isn't it?" I nodded in response to what Zero said.   "If you give me a child, I hope he looks like you and grows up to be a man," I said as I rested my head on Zero's shoulder. **
