Emma’s prediction was right. She knew something bad was going to happen. Maybe she felt what Harry was going to do from the beginning, through their bond. I should have trusted her. I should have stayed with her to comfort her. That bastard is still controlling his mate’s life through such a distance. I have to find a way to stop him really fast.
“Everyone. The banquet’s over. Leave. NOW!”
With my roar, everyone shook and started rushing out the door without a question. Meghan was the last one standing in the hall and came to me with a worried expression.
“My king? Come and take a seat. You don’t look good.”
She dragged me up on the stage and sat me down on my throne, taking the next seat beside me where Emma was supposed to sit
