I clearly remember that when I fell asleep, I was alone in bed. Ma was with me, but she chose to sleep on the floor rather than sleep on the bed with me and offend the king. Then how come when I woke up, I found King Philip in bed with me? Did he sneak in while I was sleeping?
I was awake, but he was not. I was wrapped in his arms in a way that one slight movement would wake him up, but if I didn’t, I have to stay like this for no idea how long. But he’s sleeping so peacefully...
Looking up close at his face, he doesn’t look like the guy who can kill people for fun. It’s like he’s hiding his true self in a shell to protect himself from something. But what can a king like him would be afraid of?
