CHAPTER: 21 Alice Needs Help

After Alice got near to Danny asked for help, at first he was in big confusion. It was a new world to him and also a strange small girl asking for help in the dense forest which was so much similar to the movies he watched while being on earth. But then he wasn't able to say no to her because even though she hit her head and the blood flowed still she ran so much around for help and wanted to get her sister and brother. In his heart, Danny thought that if he did not help her now then sure he would lose his humanity and also he can’t say no to her.

   Wow… this small girl is really cute, if I had a sister like her then sure I won't let anyone hurt her. I will protect her like a knight but fate I was a single child and I lived a tasteless life without anyone. And Danny patted her head and said, “Rabbit… I will help you to find your brother and sister. Where are there?” After saying it, Alice is really happy and starts to run towards the cave’s direction and Danny just follows her without asking any question but at that time the things on his mind are really… Where is this small girl taking me? Is there any monster holding her family she was trying to bargain towards the monster by giving my life for her family's life… Then I will be dead… No…

   Danny was thinking about every possibility in his mind about the outcome of this help. His mind was still in fear about his world and of these people. Everyone uses magic spells without any problem and he is the one who doesn't know how to use them also he is not a wizard. Alice never saw other kingdom people so she doesn't know who the wizards and Dragon people are. But now the only thing on her mind is wanting to save Erica and Dain from the monster inside the cave.

   And while following Danny asked her, “Hey… Rabbit where are you taking me? Where is your brother and sister in need of help?” After then while running Alice said, “There it is… The cave in front of us is where my sister and brother caught and need help” and she pointed out that cave. Danny looks at it closely and feels a bad vibe around it, even though he can sense something from it but without any choice, he was following Alice and entering the cave with her.

   Before entering when she showed the cave, Danny was shocked at first and thought, Sure there is something big being there and I don't want to get there and also what she said right now about her brother and sister. “Hey rabbit, what do you mean about caught?” And then Alice explained, “Both my sister and brother were caught by the monster which has a dark black hand”. After she said it, Danny was frightened and thought, “What is she thinking? We know that there is a monster inside the cave but still want to get there. She loves them both more, I have to do something even if I don't have a magic power.

   Alice and Danny enter the cave and she starts to search for Erica and Dain while Danny was in fear about the cave as well as being close to Alice so that he won't lose her. At that time suddenly they both started to hear a voice from inside the cave and called for help. “Help me… Help me…” After hearing it, Alice thought it could be Dain and started to run inside and then Danny also followed her without any choice.

   He feels ominous about it but he just gets inside with Alice to look for them but shockingly the voice did not come from Dain. Even though they both are not there, after reaching the end of the cave, Alice and Danny find a room that looks so dusty but also it feels like a room at the house. And near the table, they saw an old man calling for help and soon Alice got near to help him but  Danny stopped her and asked, “Where are you going?” And Alice said, “Can’t you see, an old man is asking for help”. And Danny replied, “There is no one there, Are you seeing an illusion or ghost?” When he said it, suddenly the old man vanished and a jelly-like monster with so many dead bodies inside it was walking towards Danny and Alice.

   After seeing it, Danny and Alice were scared and got back from it while that monster gets closer to Danny. And it was saying, “How my spell didn't work on you? Who are you really? Are you with that wizard’s group then at least I will kill you both and devour for my strength that will compensate for them’s mistake”. While it was saying, Danny asked Alice, “You can do some magic and use the spell, right?” And with trembling, Alice said, “No, I can perform any spell and magic without my sword, and I still have not become worthy to carry it”. 

   And then Danny thought at that moment, Finished at last my running, my life and everything is going to end here and at least I try to save this small kid. She has a life and future so I try to use my life and save her. After thinking about it, he just closed his eyes and hugged her tightly while the monster tried to use its hand to devour them but suddenly a barrier was formed around them for a few meter radius which threw away the monster.

   After seeing it, Alice is shocked and looks at Danny with a surprised look and he has no idea how it was created. Then he thought that it was used by the small girl Alice but then the monster shouted towards Danny. “Damn you brat, how the hell are you able to create the barrier which is stronger like Dark Realm Monsters. Who are you? I am sure you are not the normal wizard”. When the monster said “wizard”, it clicked with the memories about how everyone misunderstands him with the wizards and he asked, “Are you talking to me?”.

   And the monster said, “Yeah, I am talking to you. Say who are you? How are you able to create this barrier? That small girl has no mana on her body and you… Your existence itself being some kind of blurry, and also the mana itself being some kind of…” While the monster started to speak of it then suddenly he started to shout so loud because of pain. “What is this? I can't bear this pain in my eyes. Is something happening to my eyes?” And then everything started to create doubts in Danny's mind. Until now he believes that he has no magic and can’t use power but now after he listens to the monster, Danny wants to know more about himself in this world.

   The monster lost its vision by seeing Danny’s mana energy level and because of the rule prevention, it attacked the monster’s eyes. Danny still doesn't know anything about this world and how it works and also he doesn't know anything about himself now. Everything started to make sense to him. He has something inside his body and he can feel it but he isn't able to know about it. And then Danny lifts his hands towards the monster and asks, “Do you know about this small girl’s brother and sister?” When he asked it and pointed his hands towards the monster, he was seriously confused.

   I am still not sure how to use the magic but somehow I can do it unknowingly that’s why till now I can escape from all the troubles and now I have to test it with this monster. After thinking about it Barry asked the same questions again but that monster laughed at him and said, “I already devoured them both, they tasted very good even now I can still remember the taste of that girl, she was too good to eat”. When the monster was saying it out loud, Alice kneeled and sobbed so bad.

   “Sister Erica… Brother Dain, you said we three will live a happy life together without any problem and die in the hands of monsters. And also you both promised won't leave me alone. Please come back… Give them back… Give them BACK… GIVE THEM BACK…” Alice shouted towards the monster while it was just laughing at him and said, “If you want to get reunited with them then just come out from that barrier, I will show them to you and then sure you can be with them forever”.

   While the monster was saying it, Alice was still crying and looking at Danny. In those eyes, he can feel it even without any words to convey. She says that they both died and also she knows that the monster is telling lies and wants to kill even though she wants that, at least wants to die just like her brother and sister. THIS IS BAD…

   At that moment Danny lost her control and everything, in his mind the only thing is to kill the monster slowly and make it feel the pain for so long. And then he heard a voice inside his mind, “Master, do you want me to fight that monster?” Even at that moment, he was not surprised because his mind was so focused on that monster and how to kill it. And then he replied, “Yeah, kill that damn monster. I want to kill that monster and also protect the girl”. After he said that, the voice replied to him, “Just as your wish, my master”. Then slowly the vision gets blurry for a second and then becomes normal but now it was like he was watching a VR Game and he has no control. Then the voice replied, “Battle Mode”.

   After saying it Danny's whole body was taken control by the voice and then his actions started to be different. He removed the barrier and looked at the monster. It was surprising that he removed the barrier. Even though it lost its eyes, it is still able to sense everything around the place and magic. Alice was also shocked when he did it and then suddenly he moved so fast and took that monster out of the cave. Alice was so shocked to see it, after noticing that he went out with that monster, she started to run out of the cave to see what was happening out there.

   And she witnessed the fight between Danny and the monster, he just smashes the monster with his strength, and also when the monster tries to attack with its spell power, it does nothing to him. And then the spell he was casting onto the monster was unable to block and it hit so hard on that monster. And while getting beaten by Danny, the monster thinks, Who is he? Why do all of a sudden I am feeling like fighting someone? What is going on here?
