"Little one?" Tristian called from behind Emilia, following her up the stairs carefully as if he was approaching a wild animal.
Ignoring him, she continued at a quick pace, headed for her own room, gulping when he gripped her hips, leading her into the direction of his own room that she was about to walk past.
Edging past his body to reach the door handle, her body froze when she heard the click of a lock.
"Emilia."
She looked at the ground.
"I will allow you five more seconds of ignoring me and then I expect a reply."
"Okay" she whispered and continued on staring at the ground.
After five seconds had past, he took a step closer to her quivering body and crossed his arms over his chest. "Are you done?"
"Yes"
