I Was Involved To That Stupidity

Through the headlights of the police cars, Rosie saw a person running outside from the abandoned building. Cops moved quickly and they all pointed their guns at the person. Then Liam appeared on their sight, carrying Akiro.

"Liam!"

"Akiro!"

Rosie and Seul-ki yelled in unison when they see them. Police immediately moved to cover the two and they ushered them to the back of the police cars.

"Oh my God!" Rosie sighed in relief when she finally held her son between her arms, showering him with kisses all over his face. "Are you okay honey?"

"M-mom." The kid cried but since the teargas got into his eyes, he couldn't open them so the paramedics started to treat him by washing his face with clean water.

Rosie looked up at Liam to thank him but she noticed Seul-ki and Liam looking at the building worriedly.

"He was supposed to be behind me!" Liam groaned frustratedly. That's when Rosie noticed that Liam is not with Jerry.

"Where is he?!" Rosie asked worriedly.

"I-I-I don't know." Liam struggled to speak as he was so damn worried for his friend. He heard the gunfire after Jared shouting Jerry's name, he never thought that the latter wasn't behind him. "I need to go back inside." He said and was about to run but the police didn't let him go this time. Even Seul-ki, because there are exchanging gunfire inside the abandoned building and they could hear through the radio that some of the cops got shot and they need more back ups and paramedics.

Rosie picks up her son and hugged him tightly while tears on her face soaking Akiro's already wet shirt. She's so distressed and her heart feels like it's about to explode.

"You should've waited for him!" She tells Liam, who's also distraught about what's going on and why Jerry still hasn't shown up. He looked around to find another way since there are also some police at the back so there's no way he could use that to get back inside the building. "Liam! Liam!"

"s**t!" Seul-ki blurted out when he saw Liam running around, as if he was looking for something. "Liam!"

"Sir, ma'am, please stay here. It's too danger—." Seul-ki ignored the cop as he ran after Liam, then two to three cops ran after them.

Liam headed straight to the spot where he could see the stair they used, he ran close to the building and looked up, then he turned his head left and right, completely ignoring Seul-ki and the police.

He saw an open window and he quickly climbed up but Seul-ki got ahold of his shirt and he pulled him down and they both stumbled on the muddy ground.

"Let me go!" Liam shouted and he jerked Seul-ki's arm as he picked himself up, but when he tried climbing again, the cops stopped him this time and they restrained him, putting his hands behind him and putting handcuffs on his wrists, same with Seul-ki. Liam struggled even if the police were literally dragging him out of the scene but he stopped moving when he noticed a body on the ground at the dark corner.

"Wait! Wait! It's him! That's Jerry!" Liam shouted from the top of his lungs, knocking the police with his shoulder and he ran towards the body. "Jerry, dude! Are you okay?" Liam got on his knees and looked over his shoulder. "Uncuffed me!" He shouted.

The cops refused and shook their heads while one of them called for paramedics for Jerry. "Please, uncuffed him, we just need to make sure that our friend is fine!" Seul-ki begged.

"Uncuffed me!" Liam shouted again and he walked back to the police.

"Please, He's a Manoban and you wouldn't like what his family would do to you if they found out that you put handcuffs on their Prince!" Seul-ki said and since Liam's family was well known, the cops immediately uncuffed him and apologised.

Liam ran back to Jerry and he picked him up and flipped Jerry's body, only to see the deep cut on his forehead that probably hit on the rock and a gunshot wound on his left chest.

"Oh my God." Liam breathed shakily and he tapped Jerry's face with his shaking hand. "Jerry, wake up, please wake up!" He started to cry.

Seul-ki was uncuffed too and he ran towards his friends, kneeling on the other side of Jerry. "He got shot, we need to bring him to the hospital!" And as if on cue, there are people rushing towards them, holding a stretcher and they asked the two to move to the side so they can put Jerry's body onto the stretcher.

"Sir, let's get out of here." One of the cops said and they ushered Liam and Seul-ki back to where Rosie is waiting for them with Akiro.

As they got out, there was already a lot of media around the scene and they didn't waste any seconds as soon as Jerry's body was pushed towards the ambulance.

"Daddy!" Akiro shouted and pointing at the gurney while it's being pushed with the paramedics. He pulled his mom's arm to get Rosie's attention. "That's Daddy!" The kid cried.

Rosie turned to where Akiro was looking and her world fell apart when he saw Jerry. She froze and it seemed everything moved so slow, the sounds became muffled, even the cries of Liam and Akiro. Everything seemed to blur as her eyes were focused on Jerry's face covered with his own blood coming from the deep cut on his forehead, and his shirt soaking with blood too.

"Rosie! Rosie! Let's go!" Seul-ki shouted but the woman seemed to freeze on her spot and couldn't hear anything as she suddenly became deaf and the only sounds she could hear was the loud and fast heartbeat of her heart.

Breaking news..

The Chairman of the Kim Group was shot in the kidnapping scene after he tried to save the son of his ex fiancé.

"Oh my God!" Hayley broke down at the news, she dropped on the floor with her hands covering her mouth.

Juhyun, who heard the crimson haired woman, immediately got out of the kitchen, leaving the coffee she was preparing for the two of them.

"What happ—." She froze when she saw what's on the television screen. It was Jerry on the gurney, being pushed towards the ambulance while Liam and Seul-ki behind with the cops trying to cover them from all the press who were trying to get information from them about what happened. "Oh God, Jerry.." She whispered.

"Rosie!" Seul-ki shouted again and when the woman still hadn't moved, he walked towards her and grabbed her hand. "We have to follow the ambulance." He said as he picked up Akiro with his other free arm and dragged Rosie towards her car.

Rosie was still in shock while on their way that she still couldn't hear anything at all. They arrived at the hospital and saw Liam outside the operating room, pacing back and forth with his hands on his hair and pulling them frustratedly.

"Liam, calm down. Please, please, calm down." Seul-ki tells him and he was trying to stop the younger guy from pacing, but Liam is just like Rosie, he couldn't hear anything. "Guys! Goddamn it! Listen to me!" He snapped out and the two looked at him. "Please, I'm begging you two. Take a seat and let's just wait."

Rosie sat in silence, tugging her son with her and put Akiro on the bench next to her. While Liam sat on the other end of the metal bench.

They waited for another hour and another and another, it's been four hours and yet, no one is still getting out of the operating room. Jerry's parents had already arrived and of course, the father got mad at Rosie and said hurtful words towards the poor woman.

"Why do you have to drag my son into your mess?!" Mr. Kim shouted while his wife trying to calm down her husband by rubbing his back.

Rosie kept her head down and never dared to look up at the couple as she was more consumed by her own thoughts of why still no one is stepping out of the operating room.

Mr. Kim continued saying awful words that Liam couldn't take it anymore and he stood up and made his way towards Rosie and stood in front of his best friend, facing Jerry's parents.

"I think that's enough, Mr. Kim." Liam glowered at the adult.

"You don't have any business here, Mr. Manoban." Mr. Kim said calmly since he knows that Liam ain't just an ordinary person. He's the prince of the Manoban Group and the next heir, which means he has the power just like Jerry has to scare everyone.

"That woman is my best friend, and Jerry is my friend, so yes, I have a f*****g business here." Liam growled through his gritted teeth.

"But Jerry has nothing to do with them, why does he have to put his life at risk for that kid!" Mr. Tucker yelled again.

"Because that kid is his son!" Liam yelled back much louder than the old guy. That's when Rosie looked up in shock and she pulled Liam's hand but the latter didn't budge. "Jerry put his life at risk to save his son so you don't have the rights to say awful comments about the situation and to my best friend, who's the mother of Jerry's son!"

"Liam, please." Rosie begs her best friend to stop but Liam doesn't want to back down, not after Jerry's parents insulted her.

"Wh-what do you mean that he's Jerry's son?" Mr. Tucker asked in stunned surprise but when he realized that Jerry had been in New Zealand for four years and when Rosie gave birth to Akiro, his face darkened again. "That's not true! How will it happen if—."

"We already conducted a paternity test on them and once the results came out, I'm telling you Mr. Kim. You're going to regret everything you've said to Jerry's girl!" Liam shouted and he turned around, picking up Akiro and grabbed Rosie's hand as they moved towards Seul-ki.

"What was that?" Rosie asked when they stood in the corner.

"Look, I'm sorry if we didn't tell you about the test. We already know that Jerry is the real father when you gave birth to Akiro, but we have to make sure and also we need proof just in case you try to hide the truth from us."

"We?" Rosie asked after everything she had heard from her best friend.

"Yes, I was involved with that stupidity." Seul-ki admitted, earning a ludicrous look from Liam.

"But that doesn't matter anymore since you already admitted to Jerry that Akiro was his son.

"You guys are crazy." Rosie shook her head.

For another hour that passed by, the door finally swung open and the doctors and nurses came out.

"Doc, how's my son?" Mrs. Kim asked, she's already on the verge of crying to whatever the news the doctor will say.

"He's fine." The doctor started and everyone felt a wave of relief. "But he's in a coma, fortunately the bullet was blocked by his rib on his left chest but the wound on his forehead caused him to lose lots of blood after he fell from a fifty foot drop."

Mrs. Kim gasped loudly as she started crying loudly and her husband had to hold her to support her body from falling on the tiled floor because of the shock about his son falling from fifty feet drop.

"Will he be okay?" Rosie asked, ignoring the glare from Jerry's father.

"As of now, we can say at least that he's fine but I still want you to brace yourselves while we were waiting for him to wake up and while doing that, we need to conduct more tests."

"Thank you Doc." Rosie said and the doctor excused himself.

As they waited for the nurses to move Jerry to the private room, Mr. and Mrs. Kim had a talk about their grandson. They are still not convinced that the kid was Jerry's son but if that is true, they need to take him and raise him as one of the members of the Royal family.

Jerry, who became the chairman and the new Majesty of their family, will be in huge trouble to their clan for impregnating Jayvee's wife. So they needed to cover everything before it blew up and one of the choices is to take the kid away from Rosie and they know that it will be hard since Jerry is in a coma.

The Kim Group's attorney arrived at the hospital while Liam was talking to Hayley to assure his wife that her best friend is fine. So Rosie was left with Seul-ki and Akiro.

"Mrs. Kim." The attorney approached Rosie, offering his hand to her. "I'm Seong-il, attorney of the Kim Group." He introduced himself with a smile.

Rosie was hesitant to reach for his hand but still did it. "Hi."

"So I heard that you claimed that this little boy is our Majesty's son."

Rosie tilted her head on the side with furrowed forehead as she looked at Jerry's parents who avoided her gaze. "What do you want?" Rosie asked as she shifted back her gaze to the attorney.

"Listen, you're aware that you are married to Mr. Jayvee, right?"

"Oh stop beating the bush and just go straight to the point." Seul-ki chimes in impatiently.

"We are going to take the Young master."
